    Im still wondering how is ZAFT going to be nerfed to not wipe EFSF in the first game minutes and have a chance to win once freedom is researched and builded.

    Another think I think is important are resource collectors, hope they dont use HW2 collectors, that was horrible in UC gundam mod

    yay for funnel rip off DRAGOON and fake newtype co-ordinators, i can guess what's after destiny, athrun pilots another red MS that can go waverider-like form and he'll ram another rau clone into a ship and shortly afterwards goes insane because rau clone 2 does something that reminds viewers of newtypes

    Well, hes got a point there, seed and destiny are too similar to UC timeline, but thats not bad, in fact, it was Seed which made me investigate for more gundam stuff and teached me to love UC timeline

    Anyway, back ontopic. Grunt Units beguin to be shown, altough im still waiting for EFSF units and capital ships, one of the biggest lacks of CE timeline...

    Watching again Gundam seed phase 1... I realized that miguels Custom Ginn isnt orange, its a common grey Ginn... Altough the toy model is in fact orange... dont know what to say or think, I prefer it to be as in the series, even having dificulties in locating himm maybe different weapons load? I mean...

    1.- Regular Machine gunn Ginn
    2.- Regular bazooka/missiles Gin
    3.- Bazooka/Machine Gun(no missiles) miguels Custom

    Just a sugestion to make a difference without changing his color scheme from grey.

    BTW... Who votes for a dual bazooka Ginn?

    Edit: I have seen episode 3 and I WANT a BEAM CANNON Ginn 4 Christmas

    Dyson, Miguel's custom ginn is infact an orange ginn as seen in Seed-MSV.

    Miguel's custom ginn was damaged by Gai shortly before the attack on heliopolis so he had to sortie with a generic ginn instead of his tuned up orange ginn.

    Miguel probably would've won if he had his orange ginn, he would've been fast enough to kill Kira.

    miguel would have died even if kira piloted a trash can, kira has de power of the script and would have reprogramed the cans OS to make it transform into Optimus Prime

    Anyway, MSV never help the show, only makes excuses to create and sell more models they should make a Armored core like gundam game, so we can discover the chill in tuning 20M and 45 tons bigass mechs :P in fact, since bandai and namco are together, my new dream is a gundam game made by Ace Combat V Group

    Anyways on topic I vote for a dual Bazooka GINN, and A space version of the Destroy.

    Yeah, Wii or XboX360(I own one and I will own the other... someday) is it really so hard to make a good game?

    Dual bazooka Giin would be a total capship killer and if it is finally "balanced", dont care, its just cool but what I dont ant to see are PsicoGun... *cough* destroids ^_^U too much firepower even for hero units, just one of those can definetly cripple the whole enemy fleet before been shotdown, not to mention if its well scorted

    Only reason I want it for the wii is because you move the arms .

    Anyways I like to have guns guns and more guns, so the destroy fits my attitude. Though I can see how unbalanced it would be. Well it was a thought.

    You may have seen the MSG: Crossfire game, but have you tried it? From most of the impressions I'm getting, the game is very, very bad.

    I'd rather they make some more grunt units. It'd be kinda boring in game to just make a few high-cost MS just to see em fight eachother for a few minutes until one or the other is destroyed.

    This mod looks very intresting, im looking forward to it. The only complaint that i have with this (and a little in the UC mod) Is that i dislike the projectiles. Is there any possibility of making the beams rifles as projectiles/coloring them green/making the positron cannon blue/ and the freedoms railguns and archangels variant cannons yellow, etc. Would make it look more like in the show, is it doable?

    Also, any idea on the complete shiplist as of yet? So far, i havent heard anyone mention Neo's Exzas fighter, and the majority of GSD mobile suits, with the exception of rey's blaze zaku phantom, which looks awesome. B) .

    the mod is in its first stages, and for the ship list, just watch seed and destiny, there are not many units to add

    Need to see some strike daggers, one must know the face of the enemy cannon fodder :P

    The beam rifles don't shoot projectiles..

    But it'd be nice to have actual green/pink beams, relative to their own mods, instead of corvette blue.

    There are red beams too, so I dont think its a big problem adding a bit of pink to the game, but Im not very sure if i want some pink explosions... :S

    Yes, but the stock pulsar corvette beam looks pretty bad IMO for a beam from gundam seed. It probably bears a closer resemblance to turbolaser fire from warlords.

    Where do we have pink beams? Other than in a few scenes with the eternal's meteors, i havent seen them. The positron cannons are red with a blue outer shell but i dont think thats doable in HW2. Is it?

    I dont think its capable, but im not a programing guru, so forget anything I say

    Pulsar beams looks great for me, far better than gundam seed beams which more SW ish and plainer, but its just a matter or likkings ^_^U

    When I meant pink beams I was referring to the UC mod, which I meant by "relative to their own mods".

    However, I don't like the idea of pink explosions either...

    what's wrong with pink explosions, they look like cherry blossom trees if you look close enough, bring your head right up to your monitor and you'll see, it'll probably be the last you see as well

    On a sidenote, I like how the mod is shapping up, and I still think the Gondwanna is fat.... Is there gonna be Strike Noir and company ?

    On another sidenote, in the PS2 game Omni vs ZAFT 2, the strike noir is notable for being highly gay because it spams beam pistols and dodges at the same time.

    Hi, im new around these parts, been watching the progress of the mod and it looks great! mehzers...no release date yet huh?

    Anyway, call me a seed supporter, but the dolos cant kill the gondwana...unless it crashes into it, and even then...

    Both Dolos and Gondwana have beam cannons. Actually, if you watch the 2nd last destiny ep it looks as if the gondwana has positron cannons. The gondwana also has some anti-beam coating, like all zaft ships. Dolos, as far as i noe, has normal armor.

    Oh yeah, dolos is also only 500m. Gondwana's 1200m and its bloody thick and tall. Total pwnge.

    U can tell i really like the gondwana

    I don't recall any Zaft ship ever having anti-beam coating, or even laminated armour, for that matter. Genesis doesn't really count as a ship. Plenty of Nazcas and Laurasias have been shot through by beam cannons.

    DOES the gondwana have positron cannons? Because in Ep 49 GSD. i saw alot of taunhauser like beams come from the ZAFT fleet. And the minerva only has 1, Nazcas and Laurasias none.

    Sry, only nazca class are confirmed to have antibeam coating. I dont know if any other zaft ships have them, but it makes sense for the gondwana to have it if their mainstay ships have it.

    I dont noe about any conventional resources, but in the latest gundam g generation(which is the only one to have destiny and hence the gondwana), it does fire four positron cannons. However, besides ciws, these were also its only weapons.

    Yes Nazcas have been shot thru by beams. But thats beacuse anti-beam coating doesnt make it invincible to beam weapons. It just blocks until its worn out, or in the case of larger beams, weaken the attack so that the armor can take it. I can only remember two nazcas shot by beams and killed, one by the girty lue, and several by archangel in stick footage. Girty lue shot at nearly point-blank range at the stem of one of the wing sections. The nazcas destroyed by AA looked heavily damaged before they were finally done in.

    That's because the AA probably hit it a couple times with the Valiants and/or missiles.
    I still don't know where you got that Nazcas have anti-beam coating. Do you know when, or where?

    Im, sorry, i read it somehwere that nazcas had a bit of coating, but i forgot what it was. I suppose that doesnt make my description very convincing.

    Ok, basically, lacking direct evidence, there's room for logic to determine it. One is that the girty lue killed a nazca with one shot, but it didnt penetrate the whole ship before it was destroyed. Generally beam weapons penetrate completely, as in the case of AA firing, but here it didnt.

    Second is that if AA can kill a nazca by blowing thru it with a single gottefried barrage, why does it bother to attack it with missles and valiants first?

    Well, the gottfrieds DO require a certain skill of aiming. Perhaps the variants and missiles were thrown in as distractions/weaken the armor/lower enemy ship's manuverability. Etc.
    I dont think that a single barrage would result in a kill unless it hit in a critical area.

    If Gundam seed is consistent at all (which it decidedly doesnt, but heck), then whether it destroys the ship or not doesnt matter, the important thing is that it should completely penetrate. And gottefrids are not that hard to aim, they're usually capable of targeting mobile suits as long as they are in the general relevant arc. Not much more difficult to hit certain portions of a ship that have a surface area larger than that of an MS and dont move as fast.

    Seed mode isnt very consistant overall anyways. Taunhauser and Lohengrin were positron cannons. The effect that they had in the 2nd battle of yachin due was that they penetrated the nazca, then a second later, the ship explodes. Technically, wouldnt an antimatter cannon cause the ship to be ripped apart at the moment of contact?

    It would cause the anything in the path of the beam (sections, but not the entire ship).
