    Squad Sizes

As I understand, currently the base/max squad (i.e. with reinforcements) sizes for each race are as follows (without sergeants and attatche leaders, of course).

    I have 2 questions:
    1) Could someone tell me if these are correct?

    2) If they are correct, does anyone know why IG squads aren't bigger (i.e. as in closer to Slugga Boyz Squads, since they are supposed to have strength in numbers like Orks)?

You're not going to get any answers about Tau and Necrons since the game isn't out yet.

A few of these are wrong, at least for WA.

    Kasrkins are 5/9 i believe,

    both termies are 4/8

    slugga boys are 4/16??

CSM 4/10 (11 with AC, which happens to WTFPWNBBQ any other attachables)

same with raports too i think

and a few more, not so keen on eldar.

The reason why I believe the IG squads arent bigger is becuase current guardsmen are too strong and too costly and have long production time to work with an increase in sqaud limit. I mean in order to make IG squads compareable to orks, then the individual guardsmen must be much weaker, cost probably 5-10 req to reinforce, 1-5 second reinforce time, and much stronger moral (I mean not all the members could break at the same time, im pretty sure the more units in a squad, the longer it takes for the entire squad to break).

I mean also, the other problem is microing. I mean why build 2-3 guards squads if u can just build 16 guardsmen in 1 squad? This means it will be incredibly easy for other enemies to just close combat tha 1 squad to tie up ur army. So by only limiting guard squads to 8, relic forces u to build more squads. Though in my opinion, they should make guards 100 req to produce, 3 second reinforce, 8 req reinforce, and atleast 4 times weaker than the current guardsmen. To counteract the huge reduction in power, just allow guard squads a max squad size of 20 and squad cap of only 2. That way IG will rely more on mass since it would be 80 guardsmen vs. 32 space marines.

you got horrors wrong too. its just 5, no reinforce.

and I thought oblit max was 5
    and PSM is 8 (?)

    warpies are 4/8

and if you're not counting squad leaders:

    dark reapers is 3/5
    fire dragons is 3/5

    guardians is 4/9

and you missed out storm boys, and maybe a couple more...?

I think IG have 10 men because of the backgroud, where their squads are within platoons and at least 2 squads of the platoon HAVE to have 10 men.

Yeah, IG is about lots of squads instead of lots of men per squad, the trouble is they are 2 pop cap in game so they can't mass any more squads than anyone else.

    Reinforce To Represent Numbers

The reinforce rate and cost is there to reflect the high numbers of men in my opinion.

Hirmetrium is most close to the currect answer, except:
Shoota Boyz: start with 4, up to 8 so 4/8 (they can be 10 with nob leader and big mek/warboss however).

    Eldar is: (without exarch)

Guardians - 4/9 (not sure about this one)
    Rangers - 4/8
    Banshees - 4/8
    Dark Reapers - 3/5
    Fire Dragons - 3/5
    Warp Spiders - 3/8
    Seer Council - 3/9

    @Evil killaruna. EDIT: and Hephaestus

you put what I put, except you included the squad leaders. give him some credit, I'm sure he can add 1.

but he said he didn;t want to include squad leaders, which is why I didn't.
