Banshee howl needs some loving?

I suspect this is a tough sell as CoW brings so much to the table, but try to ignore that for now.

Banshees - in legend, known for howling. Scary howling. REALLY scary howling.

In TT banshees howl and paralyse, creating an exciting glass hammer unit.

In DoW, banshee howl is probably third fiddle when compared to their other talents. I personally think it has the best SFX in the whole game and I love it, but it doesn't seem to do a lot. As mentioned, CoW brings morale rapage with it, but I'd feel more satisfied if it came from the special ability than an inherent ability.

Banshees could really use having the Howl at its present strength as soon as they get an Exarch, CoW or not. CoW could boost the morale damage a bit. T1 banshees also need some loving, this could help.

its not very good because in WA most units seem to have ~500 morale which pretty much eliminates yet another thing which made DoW unique - the actual targetting of morale to turn battles instead of bangbangbangbang

well, as youl notice... 100-200 moral is lost quite easily. so if you target a 500 moral squad with howl they will still break pretty quick, if you can keep them in cc. and if you cant, then it doesnt matter that howl doesnt break them cause then they would just be running away faster.

at the same time the other ig squads are nading at your shees, killing their own troops (its unbelieveable how many ppl fall for that)

There should be a T3 upgrade or even a T4 one, that lets the Banshee Howl 'entangle' or stun the enemy as well as giving them a morale hit. This obviously is pretty pointless vs PSM and AT's, but may well help against Kasrkin spam, and force them to build Ogryns.

If banshees could be given weaker armor upgrades and have a better howl... man, how TT is that?

I too think the banshees need to have the howl upgrade needs looked at/thought hard about alot it seems to me like it takes to long and costs to much to do nothing to the enemy!

Costs too much? It comes with Call of War, which is sort of necessary to make Banshees competitive. Unless you mean in Vanilla DoW.

I think banshees howl should be instead changed to a special ability that temporarily reduce enemy's attack power or defense. Of also maybe stun affected targets for a few seconds so they cannot run away in CC.

Right now, rangers are already good enough for morale breaking and Banshee's howl can't even instantly break squads as comapred to rangers volleys. So you realise that Banshees breaking capability is being outshine by Rangers.

Banshees by themselfs need loving, but then in the other end things need to be nerfed, specially FP else Eldars as a whole would become insanely OP.

I think it would be better if the whole squad howled instead of just the exarch (with less morale damage than today), since often when I howl the exarch is not in a good position and only a few enemies get hit.

It would be nice if bansees had a bit more HP or damage from the start, since they seem to have problems standing up to other cc-specialists before COW. After COW, they rock

I think it does fine Morale damage, a CoW Banshee squad can take down a NW squad by keeping them in combat and howling to break them

But i would agree to say that it should come standard with the squad after CoW, instead of CoW+Exarch

Give it a global cooldown and make it like Ivan's shout ability ^^
