    Dead Bodys stay longer time....

    Hello,
in the Final i have seen, that most dead bodys not stay.
have anybody a idea, to mod or fix these?

Think it`s like better atmosphäre when dead bodys stay for a long time!

I agree with that, it's more realistic when body dont disapear just like that. Someone may say thats because medics will know which one is to heal but that could be solved if dead soldiers would just not move.

Well actually, it's most likely because those bodies need to be rendered. Which means a performance hit. I however didn't see any "Persistant bodies" option like in DoW. I'm guessing this might be added at a later date like it was in DoW, when more computers have the power to run that sort of thing. At the moment, I wouldn't sacrifice any performance for this option.

Well, If the bodies did stay that would be alot of movable ragdolls for you computer to render and if theres an explosion it would start to lag because it would have to calculate the bodies ragdolls. But I think that If you have the system for it there should be some kind of option to have it.

the character models are much more detailed than in dawn of war...i imagine there's a cost to persistent bodies, especially if you're going to keep tracking them for physics.

Plus, the current system is better for gameplay because the most persistent bodies are the wounded used for aid stations.

still its an OPTION we are asking for. Its not forcing you to freaking use it. U have the choice, and if it lags you, well then turn it off. Its simple

More likely it would render the game unplayable over the long term. Even if your hardware could handle it the physics and graphics engines probably couldn't. Consider that four or five times as many soldiers are usually killed than are alive at any one point over the course of a normal game, and it gets worse from there.

All I'm saying is don't count on it.

that would be awesome, then i can just pile up riflemen with tanks, push them all into one pile and use a golaith...
maybe we can use the bulldozer for some funner activities...

but its kinda weird the wounded soliders dont die, even if a howitz shell land on his head... he just lay there trying to get up...
