    we may be waiting for a while for updates and i have some bad news to report. Seems interest in this mod in the hw 2 community is dieing off. THe major clans in hw 2 have lost interest in the mod itself. You guys need to updates ASAP to try to revive it!

    I believe, LeviathanXENO, interest isn't dieing at all. It only appears that there are some issues to be solved. I for myself would be happy to get the speech into the game. I'm not sure what you meant by "update(s)", could you please explain?

    they showed some nice models for 1.72 ... I think they'll be worth the time... and by the way: I like to see new updates two but we all to remember that modding mostly takes place besides normal life and that the modders are doing the stuff for fun ... mostly without beeing payed for what they are doing .. so we'll get all their work for nothing. :-)
    The mods are a gift for us and we should honor this.

    Hey guys are you planning on adding the elite units from hw 1 for the taiidan by any chance? Thought i should point this out as there were units in hw 1 that were stronger than the ones that you could build. Example the ELite HC and such.That would be awesome to see again.

    actually falcon there is a difference in their stats. For one heres an example now capt elisons dessy rammed my ms and took its health all the way down to the last bit of red. Now tell me that dessy had normal armor points. Same goes with the ion frigs armor is much higher than standard ion frig. i dont have stats for them but iwill look.

    hm .... than there muste be a modifier wich has nothing to do with the ship files ... but I dan't want to install hw only to look for this files ;-P

    Damn I remmber that Levi! I hated that. I found a way around it you got to be quick tho. End cutscene asap then have it halt and move around. It's werid it's like the ms has a force feild around it. The dd doesn't actually impact with the ms.

    ... force field ^^ ... is a collision box ... and yea I can remember that I got the same problem .... but 40 or 50 repair corvettes fixed the problem. :-)

    thatis standard unit limit. 50 vettes max. ANyways they are taking their sweet time. I wanna play as the bentusi and what not!!!!!!!! THe ai is tough enough as it is. I tend to get over 200 kills as taiidan HEHEHEH!

    Very good job Wujunfeng...
    I like this new turanic raider ship... Keep up the good work.
    Your mod is fantastic and is a lot of fun to play with. I really like it to play with the most races and epoches of the homeworld history.

    Maybe in some years should u still working on this genious mod you possibly could add the cataclysm units (beast + somtaw) + the kushans...

    But first do one step - after then the next step.
    I am glad for the releasedate of the next version....

    Id out of all honesty would prefer the Kushan more than the Cataclysm units since officially Somtaww is just a Kiith within the Hiigaran empire, so tehcnically theyre ships would be hiigaran wouldnt they?

    kushan are hiigarians... but why not... i mean fx mod is more kind of a timeline mod, so it should be ok to add everything, it's not a mod with a story or something similar. I mean the taidans , the kadeshi + raiders were all dead in the hw2 story... that means indeed it is a timeline mod where we can play all fractions of any timeline.

    But back to topic...

    as i said nice pictures.

    Very great mod Wujunfeng and others Me and lots of others are all playing FX mod now -- even more then the normal hw2 game. I really love the mod, keep up with the good work and remember ya have lots of supporters ^^

    Btw I like the new ship, it's really Turanic-ish

    i cant wait to play 1.72!!!!!!!! Can u guys give us an update of its progress as when it will be updated. Im DYING to know =) You guys also did a great job on it. There are a lot of players with it online now and we are playing online matches with this! I hope the patch fixes the chat bugs cause whispering to one ally at a time sucks!

    Hello,

    This is a fantastic MOD! The Genesis Clan of HW2 have all adopted this as the standard mod we play. I know that there have been issues that have come to light and I'd like to add my own.

    1. The destroyers for Progenitor appear as a small ship/compared to the frigate in The Sensor Manager screen. I think they need to be swapped so the frigate appears smaller than the destroyer. It throws me off while playing. (Please make destroyer appear larger!)
    2. The Movers are very weak against other corvette sized craft. (Is this do to their reliance on bomb technology as opposed to laser or projectile weapon?)
    3. Progenitor Destroyers: Cannot upgrade armor/engines. Can upgrade all armor except Destroyer.
    This is a wish....Could u give the progenitor a gravity well. For such advanced race seems natural. Also, could u add some speed to to Swarmers. Can't wait for the update!!!!!!

    kushan is the early hiigaran, isn't it? if there is kushan, it seems that the race is doubled

    Making Siege cannon is 100% possible in HW2.

    You fire with special weapon key ("z")
    You make a long refire time (well you'll be unable to see how long it will take to fire again)
    You make an explosion with area dammage (look for Nuke mod).


    Anyway I feen unconfortable that Kadeshi use Soomtaw Dreadnought model for their heavy ship. You should model something that look more like Kadeshi design.

    Sorry if this has already been asked somewhere, but will you be making new models for the ships that are from HW? I think those look a bit out of place, as they are so much lower quality than the HW2 ships and the new models in the mod.

    Anything that adds to the Progenitors is very welcomed from me.

    Are you going to be adding a mini history to that ship and weapon? How far removed, say, how much of a difference in power is that from the Dreadnaught or Sajuuk?

    Of course, if you wish to keep that information a surprise in 1.72, I completely understand

    Awesome I like every bit of the new ships you show us. I only play HW2 at the FX mod, and I got a list filled with alot of players who also play FX most of the time. Can't wait for v 1.72 to be released. Keep up the good work

    Really enjoy this mod, been dabbling just a bit though.

    A few things

    The Vagyr Escort Carrier/Cruiser is overpowered in my opinion. In a few scrimishes I've done against people and the AI the game has revolved around this ship.

    For a ship that's supposed to be bad at taking on Frigates and Capital ships it packs a huge amount of firepower with its heavy missile launcher. It can easily take down frigates with no trouble, beat captial ships such as destroyers fairly easily.

    However it's major problem lies in its ion defense array. Thats way way too effective. It's range is too long, it's rate of fire too high and it's too accurate. You cannot field strike craft against one. I've had a single solo escort carrier take down 16 bomber squadrons and 10 frigates in a matter of mins.

    While it's true that against the biggest cap ships the Escort carrier will loose, it forces you to essentially abandon all strike craft tactics and just go for cap ships only, which defeats the whole 'combined arms' theory of HW2.

    I had played this Mod, nice work to the team 9CCN. Though, there are few places to improve on. A mojor one is the speech. It would be more playable if speech is added to it. Anyway, it is still a great work.
