Well I checked and my copy is in Stansted UK it took it 12 hours to get form NY to the Uk and it has been let out of customs but I still wont get it till monday which is fine

I havn't received mine yet, but I chose the cheaper option, not express.
One thing's for sure, after I do receive my copy, I will advise everybody NOT to use these guys again. They are a lot of hassle and way too borderline dodgy for my liking.

I ordered another copy of DC from ebgames (as I had doubts about IM). I didn't regret it. I ordered DC from ebgames on tuesday night and it arrived this morning (friday morning), so I'm well chuffed and have just finished a 6-hour campaign spree as IG, and I'm around half-way through the campaign on easy.
What I found funny was that ebgames sell DC internationally for around the same price as the UK would, including shipping. Just... wow, no problems at all, you don't have to sign up to membership or anything, completly hassle-free and QUICK! If anyone in the UK or Europe wants DC NOW (within 3-5 working days (3 for me)) for roughly a few pittance extra, order the game from them.

talos good luck with getting it mate, if its been detained in customs you can almost gurantee a customs charge..
usually you are allowed value of £35.00 before charges happen, but if IM have wrongly priced it or marked it as trade item you may get charged a % on top of it.
Hopefully though it was something else that delayed it rather than this, customs charges suck big time..

Well my copy is sitting in Stansted UK Fed Ex sorting office. Get it at 6pm on Monday, apparently.
invictus: As I noted earlier, not everyone has the option of using international sites due to the way payments can be done. I know not every person who wants DC and is in the UK has a credit card :P
Captainmerkin: He won't get a custom charge and nore will I. My copy was picked up at 5pm on Thursday in Canada. Arrived at 8pm in New Jeresy 2hours later. Then it sat there to 5:41am and then travelled to Stansted UK arriving at 4pm and there it awaits sorting and redistribution. Not bad for a day of travel. Plus need to consider that once it hit UK it would have sat to staff members came in at 9am. So overall, quite a fast turn around.
Man, if I knew it was going to take this long with IM I would of gone for one of the ones you guys went for and got it already.

I just done a re-check on their web site and realised that the slow orders are delivered by standard UK air mail and not FedEx.

Did you select the Sluggish Delivery? if so Then you wont get a Fedex email, Cos' it wont be delivered by them if you picked that.

Yup same here. Only difference (I'm assuming) is that I ordered 2 copies, one for me and one for a friend. I don't know if that would slow delivery down at all

Anything over £20 is subject to custom charges however they only check every 1 in 10 parcels coming into the UK for that stuff so you have a good chance of getting that passed.

@ Skullcap: I understand that not everyone has a credit card, but you don't need one. I didn't pay with a credit card, I payed with my debit card. It's the same card you put in the hole-in-the-wall when you want to get your money.
Debit is much better than credit. Nearly everyone who has a bank account has one, and theres no commission on debit IIRC.
I will reinforce my urge for fellow UK players who want DC to buy it from EBGames.
