Considering the Interview from last May
So hopefully you should get it at the same time as the people in the States and Canada. But HW2 should come out in Austrailia. Also, can't you order off of amazon and get it shipped to Austrailia even if it is at a high price.<Sierra-GenevieveOstergard> HOMEWORLD2 will be a worldwide simultaneous ship and will be available at your local software retailer.

There's been recent suggestions that the UK might be getting it later than the US which is why I think that early quote by Miss Ostergaard is a bit out of date.
ummm as an Australian I often get the impression that a simultaneous worldwide release just means just US, Canada and Europe.... there are just far too many examples of this for me to cite, where we little southern hemisphere types tend to be negelected ( MOO3 is the most recent example of a simultaneous worldwide release where I had to wait a couple of weeks before it was even on the shelves - fortunatley I had read many responses about the game since the release in the US - so I didn't rush off and buy it ). I lurked on these boards after the release of HW in US/Canada for several months before I could actually play the game -man it was a tough wait...
But barring any graphic sex I can see no reason why the game would not be released in Australia :devil:

Being an Australian, If they DON'T release it here like they did with the Ground Control Exp (Maybe they released it, but I've never seen it), there's going to be hell to pay!

I'm also an Australian, and if it's not shipped here, I will do the following things:
1. Drive to Canberra and kick Howard in the teeth.
2. Get onto Amazon and order a copy from wherever it is cheapest.
3. Kick Howard again.
Not any reason, I just disrespect him as a leader.
What about Simon Crean? The person who nobody seems to like.
I highly doubt that HW2 would not get released down here.
if thet can c they are gonna make just $1 worth of profit then u will be able to buy it.
Bit off topic but what do they do with all the games they dont sell?
If it doesn't ship to Australia, I'll be sending a shipment across myself. Seriously.

Didnt you know that Australia runs the Relic Community? We have two operatives already in Relic, Dyn and myself are here on the forums and we have been working on AlexG's extradition for the past six months.
In fact, I wouldnt be surprised if it shipped to Australia only.
I checked it out at Maroochydore as well as Kawana EB the other day and they have a release date of the 6th of August in their computers.
It may not be the actual day but they are stocking it for sure.
$10 deposit to pre-order. (they call you as soon as it arrives)
Still prefer the idea of a simultanious World wide release or AlexG sends Dyn and Reki the first copies off the press to distrubute here in the greatest land on EARTH.

manta - if hw:c was anything to go by, the overseas ordering people got their copies about a week or two before it arrived in shops. It was meant to arrive earlier, but there was some mess up where they ended up in israel or something.
mmm...so your saying its probably best to hang on until the retail shops get it maybe? I dont want to have it diverted to Antarctica or something....

Ok i hope everybody gets his/her copy of HW2. Even in NZ or China.....but we should make shure, no copy ever reaches Korea! Dont want to have a second starcraft disaster.....
