    what i hate about the aircraft: The supposed "Gunships" always decide to land when i leave them at a location, which royally pisses me off, The other jet aircraft are made to only attack air or ground (fighters or bombers) with very little that can cover both. Another big issue i have with them is how the air servicing stations only hold 4 aircraft, which means you need to create quite a few if you use alot of aircraft (which is wise since theyre quite cost effective untill you realize that they only kill 1 type of unit, in which case you go cry as 2 interceptors kill 10 bombers). Plus, the explosion effects for them are more than lackluster.

    You intend to use light assault bots as infantry ?!?!?!?! NOOO !!! those things are retarded ! they dont take cover, move out of the way, have any idle animations, are massive compared to trees, line themselves up in preety little formations which ultimately dont help at all, get killed by absoloutely every other unit in the entire game and on top of all that have a population cost, which is almost laughable.

    But look at me rant on, soory guys ill try and stay on-topic.

    LOL dude that is the funniest rant i've ever seen.

    you have to understand first that supcom isnt really on the scale of 'infantry' and they dont really have a place in the battles. mechs/bots replace infantry roles, and even then dont do a good job at being meat shields.

    one of the first new units i made for supcom was an interceptor that can also engage ground units. a jet that can strafe machine-gun ground units etc ...

    second unit i made was a carpet bomber, but forged alliance now has them anyways

    btw the formations do help, alot. especially when you get shield cover for your tanks, you need formations.

    population cost? in a proper game you never get over 400 units anyways, and with a 1000 unit cap whats the problem?

    for supcom? i have 3dsmax and a mate with it also, and we are busy making new models, and also editing current ones, like adding weapons to factories and putting more guns on things ;D

    hacking the weapon systems off things and putting them onto chassis is really easy to make a new unit too ;D

    If you read the readme that usally follows and place the KMOD files right u should be able to play the mod. Take some extra attention to the problem, if it still excist. Post back here and we can see how to fix ur problem.

    Kyranzor, are you agree to adapt the Axis realism mod skins III to your last Kmod 1.4 ( http://kmod.org/KMOD/kmod_builds/KMOD_v1.4+Patch.exe ) ? The creator of the Axis realism mod skins III dont want continue. Its not necessary to create new skins for the 1.4 Kmod, but only adapt the Axis realism mod skins III to units can receive them in the 1.4. I host you if necessary, or people accept to adapt the Axis realism mod skins III to the Kmod 1.4+patch ... Because if i apply the Axis realism mod skins III to your Kmod 1.4, the game dont work. He work only if i install the 1.39C/F kmod

    EDIT ; no its ok. With my French friend << Gesierfou >>, we translate last part of your fils (Kmod 1.4) in french (now we have only the 1.39c in french). And we add-on separatly, folders with news skins axis III blablabla... for people want them ; but we work on them for the compatibility. I will send you french files when we will finish. So if you want in futur do a Kmod 1.4 with French files for french players why not

    ok super newbie, go for it. Just remember to tell people that KMOD 1.4 and KMOD 1.5 beta only work with Company of Heroes 1.7, nothing more

    Hi kyranzor.

    its ok, i have skins from Axis mod III for your Kmod 1.4. Can you help me please to edit files to have Allied Artillery for German (Axis Pionner could build as 88mm and other DCA) ? I dont know how use editor Mod. If you could send me Only modified files and say me where i must copy/past them please... I will rehost new *.rar with your 1.4 Kmod, axis Mod Skin III for 1.4 Kmod, French files for french players, german voices and american voices (for all players from all country) and if you are agree to add-on for me the possibility for Axis Pioner to build a real Artillery as Allied, my archive will be finish.

    for the OF compatible version of KMOD. No guarantee it will work however, i made this with OF v2.1

    the changes are basic, so it should be ok




    edit:
    super newbie pr, you can do that if you wish, i have no problems with that. i cannot make the allied howitzer for the germans because i dont have the game installed, or the mod tools, or the effort to do it for you

    sorry guys that i didnt have time or effort to continue with KMOD. I was doing bits of it here and there when i felt motivated (wasnt often xD ) but then opposing fronts came out, and the workload became a massive trawl and re-do of many many files, so i just gave up

    Hey all,

    I've been trying to get this mod to work but I'm having a hell of a time trying.
    So far I've installed it in my general folder.

    And this is what is in my shortcut:
    D:\GAMES\COH\RelicCOH.exe -mod KMOD -dev -nomovies

    Any ideas?

    Edit:
    I got the v1.4 + Patch
    And my CoH is v1.71

    I have tried using -modname which still had nu succes, thx for the reply though. : )

    edit; i just checked the intro screen and at the bottom it says:

    2.600

    so i should use the -mod instead of -modname
    right?
    But when i'm running -mod ; the game doesn't even start up.

    Only way I know how would be to install the patches individually up to the version you need for this to work. Don't let the game try to update it for you, which means you'll probably have to play with the disk in the drive.

    Just so all is aware this mod is officially dead.

    Kyranzor dont have time to mod anymore and me my self dont have enough time or the skills to continue.

    It was good as long it lasted, and thank you all for the support u guys gave us !
