    40 000th WHiner's Poem and Sculptures
Ah I can feel it, I can see it now.
It is a day to fight, struggle for the crown.
So I call my forces, to battle alongside me.
They use no spears no horses, but raw strength and steel.

There comes my loyal warrior, Chicken Wire Marine.
Together we can make it, bash enemy to smithereens.
Fight with fury, rage and skill, to break enemy lines.
Go forward, "CHARGE!", and watch out for those mines.

But as bravely as we fight, we can't fend for ourselves.
We need someone's aid, not ork's, not guard's, nor elves'.

That sight makes me cry, it help to us brought.
My proud and noble servant, Cardboard Dreadnought.
Make our enemies scream, hit them to the ground.
All opposition is doomed, no help for them is found.

As our foes retreat, I smile contentedly.
Despite their defeat, I'd like to do something differently.
There's someone I forgot, some very important man.
Toth, Gabriel, Sturnn? Maybe community's Tranj?

He's my long time friend, I call him "Watch up, hey!?"
For privates, guardsmen and enemies, he is Sergeant Clay.
"Where have you been? Battle is over and foes smashed."
"I'm sorry I come late, but my dropship got crashed."

Now our team is full, and our enemy runs like cattle.
I step on one's skull, head to my next battle.

    Regs_Searlon's Note and Game Models
“I love this game, “Dawn of War” because it has opened my eyes to what every RTS game should be like. It is different from the rest, which I believe makes it so popular. It never looses its shine.”
“I also think Relic is great because of all the work and attention they put into the community. All the screenshots, all the videos. It was brilliant; it looked like Relic really cares for its customers and for its community.
That’s what I appreciate, its not just great games that makes a company, its their support for the community”
“Now I’m not calling myself the biggest fan of Dawn of War or of Relic because I know I’m not. But you guys are great and you have shown a lot of support and a lot of care, which in my books make you a superb company”

    Alex Mahr's Poem
    Poem to Warhammer 40000

    In the darkest Universe,
the future hangs in the balance,
    there is no verse,
    that describes what lances

    are stained with blood,
    from Gorgutz` will.
    Then there is the god,
who drives on madness and ill

    delivering the Chaos,
and for all a bitter sadness,
    The Eldar are like parents,
    trying to watch with haughtiness

the Tau, fighting for their Greater Good.
    Space Marines and Imperial Guard,
divided under the mantle of their God,
    everyone standing their own ground.

    Now between these all,
    rises a new chill,
    cold and with ill,
    The Necrons unconquerable.

    Valtec's Story
What would you call the creator of dreams?

To create dreams is to inspire imagination, to make the user immerse-them selves into a situation in which they do not normally appear and for them to be carried through this experience with a guiding hand.

I have been a fan of relic for quite a while now and these are the reasons why.

No other developer has yet managed to immerse me as well as relic has.

Perfect game design, plot and graphics has managed to open my mind as well as focus it, it has inspired me and even lead me to take on a separate path with my life.

Encouraged me to pursue my dreams, dreams that relic has created.

When I first entered school I was completely dyslexic, my expected grades in all my main exams were E’s at best.

Now I have tackled with my dyslexia, I have moved up through school and am now doing most of my main exams a year early and getting A’s and A*’s, I have recently been recommended for, and joined the UK’s national academy of gifted and talented youth, and am studding deeper and deeper into quantum physics.

And for all this I can thank relic and there games

Yaaaay, awesome winner. And go Dorkdav. Extra props for the awesome banner you had there. TLSC powah!!!

And seriously Muller, I ran a search for your name and nick and whatnot in google expecting to find a webcomic or something done by you, there is no excuse why you haven't created one. Do it now, with that humor and drawing you could be one of the best :thumb:

Oh man! Warboss FTW! I feel much better about losing.

optimal_prism: If Relic gave me bonus points for bleeding, it would encourage people in future contests to injure themselves. "Relic, I love you so much I cut off three of my toes! Give me a prize!"

I was wondering the same thing Badman. Though I at least get a kick ass Halloween custome.

Anyway, I was a bit pressed to make the deadline so I had to quick edit. You can see the full version here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DvPP3GgkLLw

That film made me fall off my chair laughing. I had to watch it several times to see if what I was seeing was actually true, and not just me imagining stuff. Great stuff. How long did it take to get all those props together?

    @Everyone else
    Thankyou all, and thankyou Relic.

I'd say from design to finishing the film, it was about 30 hours of work. But materials cost me nothing.

As our bodies are armoured with Adamantium, our souls are protected with our loyalty. As our bolters are charged with death for the Emperor's enemies, our thoughts are charged with wisdom. As our ranks advance, so does our devotion, for are we not Space Marines? Are we not the chosen of the Emperor, his loyal servants unto death? - Chaplain Fergas Nils

lol. A comic about you? What sorta idea you got in mind, dude?

    @Dorkdav

30 hours!!!!! Crap...what took up most of the time?
BTW, was it you playing both the warboss and the space marine?

  33. #33
The designing was probably the most time. Figuring out which cardboard box would be best for each piece. And the claw took quite a while too. It sort of functions, not well, but it's made from wire and sticks so it's to be expected.

And one of my younger brothers played the role of the space marine.

DorkDav and SvK's were great I prefer them to comics and the like, but the winner still did a good job, especially the onions panel
