    Features wishlist for future patches, non-ranked games options

    These are some features I'd like to see in a future patch. Mainly I'd like to see these in lan and skirmish games, so non-ranked games.

    Option toggles when hosting a new game:
    -Multiplier for population cap. 50%,75%,100%,125%,150%,200%,300% and 500% would be nice options.
    This should affect the pop limit gained from both HQ and captured points.
    These mainly affect performance on weak systems and can be tweaked to some effect using "nopop" mods or similar.
    So this should be a pretty easy feature to implement.

    -Resources multiplier, similar to the above.
    This can be used to favor very tactical games by getting very little resources. This makes it important to take good care of your troops. Or with a resource boost you can favor really intense fights.

    -Tanks or no Tanks (makes it possible to do infantery-only battles)

    -Zoomout limiter.
    If enabled, then only default zoom our levels allowed.
    If disabled, then the user should be allowed to zoom out further than the default.
    I know I'd like to get a better overview of the battlefield.

    -Commander tree toggle.
    Disabled then you cannot choose any commander points.
    Enabled (default, standard).
    Double speed(well, double the exp for each kill. Better for speedgames).
    Full (No exp needed, just choose a tree and it'll be fully enabled from the very start).

    -AI command tree selection box
    Make it possible to choose what kind of commander tree the AI players will be.
    Ex: Auto/Infantery/Airborne/Tank for Allied side.

    -Gamespeed selection box.
    This can already be changed using the console, but a lot of users cant do that. I think the current speed is ok, but others might want to change it a notch or two.

    I agree on these 2.

    I am also werry disapointed that theres no unit/resource giving to teammates.

    And i am missing some basic units behaviour tamplates...
    like:

    1. Agressive (attack and persue enamy to the death)
    2. normal (attack/return fire, stand on ground.)
    3. defensive (return fire, retreat when owerpowerd)

    And i werry much missing simple option like:

    1. When you hit retreat button for your squad (or whats left of it) guyz run back to HQ and than just stand there... thats so stupid, they shud automatically get reinforced so i dont had to bother with that.

    2. Patrol (from point A to point B and back)
    (and than combine with behawiours mentioned earlier abowe)

    I wish non-ranked games didn't display as losses on your ranked record. =)

    Having infantry-only battles isn't as easy as simply disabling tanks unfortunatly... the game isn't balenced for battles like that. I was originally making a mod to rebalence the game to have have heavy infantry battles, but keep tanks as command-tree units, but so many people are doing infantry-only mods it seems redundant now.

    Er, on topic, I'd rather have a well implimented "infantry battle" mode then a poorly balenced "no tanks" mode. Like, anti-tank infantry should be much stronger (As strong as AT guns, say) and light vehicles + a few tanks should still be available.

    Zoom is fine the way it is, if you ask me... but I guess no-one is hurt by letting us zoom out more.

    The command tree options you list, well, those actually sound like very fun ideas to toy with The income and popcap things sound fun too, although 500% is pretty crazy. 500% popcap + 5x resource multiplyer... lol

    That's one reason I liked rise of nations. They gave you all these little options to toy with. Mostly fun for when your playing with friends.

    infantry only games would be kind of tough to finish. Because even with mortars and such, infantry just get raped by MG positions. So it would end up being an MG defense with mortars and snipers used for offense... Assuming no vehicles are being used of course. Plus infantry combat is more favorable to axis... since terror has propaganda and zeal. While allies doctrines are geared more towards anti armor rather than anti infantry sorta.

    Simply put I just think that more options will make this game have more appeal over time, since the battles can be fought in so many more variants. The game is great like it is, but I think it needs something extra to last for many years to come.
    Sure mods might help, but imho this is not what mods should be about. Even mods might enjoy the extra dynamics by these options.

    Added the AI Commander selection box suggestion.
    And the speed selection box.
