hmm send me a private message.

As many people are concerned with computer techniques and technical terms, I have decided to write this image guide to give everyone a more clear idea of how to retrive your CD key if you have lost your key on your case, user manual or toilet door.

The main focus will be the editing of Windows Registry, if you are confident with computer, the registery will be a fun thing to play around with. (As far as you don't screw it up)

The Registry Editor is a genius tool in your computer. An example for using registry editor is The Sims and The Sims 2. The Sims series contains not only the game but also the game in various languages; by using registry editor, you can enjoy The Sims 2 in French even if you brought the game itself from Australia.

As a note, Dawn of War series do not come with multi language support, so if your game is in English, the registry editor cannot change it to other languages.

The format of this guide is a bit screwed, I will fix them up later. Only part of the fonts are meant to be bold.

I installed dark crusade and was not prompted to enter the other CD-keys when I first started the program up. I then uninstalled and tried again. Same thing. Then I found this guide and tried to add the CD keys manually into the registry. The first thing I noticed was that the entries: W40KCDKEY and WXPCDKEY didn't exist. So I added the string values manually, making sure that they were spelled exactly the same. Then I restarted and still nothing. I then uninstalled, reinstalled and had the same problem. I tried the registry entires again. And it still doesn't work.

Any thoughts on this? I could use some help.

This just happened to me today. I've been playing the game regularly since I bought the game and suddenly I lost the ability to choose races in multiplayer other than the necron and the Tau. For some reason my single player has been unaffected. This is VERY annoying.

Is this correct? I thought that Dark Crusade was stand alone.

    Yes, Dark Crusade is standalone.

-If you have Dawn of War + Dark Crusade = You get the original races (Eldar, Space Marines, Orks, Chaos) + The Tau and Necrons.

-If you have Winter Assault + Dark Crusade = You get the Imperial Guard + The Tau and Necrons.

-If you have Winter Assault, Dawn of War, and Dark Crusade = You get all the races in the game (Imperial Guard, Tau, Necrons, Eldar, Space Marines, Chaos, Orks.)
i told you it cant be removed, if you dont like that as an answer then go fuck yourself.

I own all three, and erased my system for maintenance. Then I figured I could just install Dark Crusade and enter the CD keys to get the original races. There's no point in wasting a bunch of space on my hard drive if Dark Crusade is standalone. However, I've not been given the option to enter the CD keys anwywhere.

I guess really I'm trying to figure out if I need to un-install Dark Crusade and then re-install the originals or if there is a menu or option that I'm missing. I tried the instructions here, but to no avail.

    Step 4.5

Click on the [+] sign next to Wow6432Node, then the sub registry folders should expand.
