3 second freezes

My CoH freezes randomly from time to time. The freeze lasts 3-4 seconds. It happens in the lobby too. I get disconnected from multiplayer games if the freeze occur and get a loss. The freezing is very disturbing because it makes it very difficult to play competitively. The freeze occurs totally randomly, in any phase of a game. I have updated my graphics card drivers and underclocked my CPU in order to try to fix the problem. Company of Heroes is the only game this happens in.

Warning log: I got the freeze, got dropped and then immediately log out, so the freezing part should be in the end of the log.

My CPU is not identified by dxdiag, but it's An Athlon XP Mobile (2200+ or 2300+ can't remember =D)

What resolution and video settings are you using in game?

Kill nortons protection before running the game. That could be interfering with game page file usage.

Also, try shrinking your AGP size to 64 megs. With your card you may take a slight performance hit but you will reduce pageing too.

All settings low except textures medium, runs smoothy. I'll try disabling the norton security while playing. I'll check my AGP aperture size next time when i boot.

Not with that line in there, besides, that's a log file with your older graphics drivers installed. I assume it's locked up since then?

The game just freezes for 3-4 seconds, then continues normally. But a 3-4 second freeze causes me to get dropped from the game. The drivers didn't change the matter at all.
