Is this a bug or hacks?

I already posted this on the bug report forum, but would like to discuss this with you guys here,

I posted this on the GR forum earlier, and apreantly some ppl had the same similar things happend to them before, basically I was playing this lvl10 guy with very nice wining streak last night, not going to say who here, the map was Sturz, I had almost 90-95% map control and being killing every counter units he has, cuz took him by a big mistake he made, so while I was building stuffs and moving my units to close every choke and all 3 VP, all of the sudden, my units can not be controled, they cant be moved, the mouse pointer is still working, but just cant click on units, even with hotkey F1, F2, buildings, I still cant produse, so I was like WTF!? and went to the window to check, everything seems fine, but Im not a expter on computers, so I went back to the game, and kkeep ask him wats going on, wtf wtf ...etc, no replies, but he did laughed for a sec, I didnt get a good screen shot, nor the replay since I cant do anything and have to use window terminate the COH, then another lose...since this is a P2P connecting mutiplayer game, is it possible that someone can send u some virus/hack/program to mess u up? or this is just another bug???? I would really like some relic dev to get a hand on this.

Edit: The game was still going during this happened btw, and he retook the whole map with granades and sticky bomb...since none of my units can be controled and the screen can not be scrolled,.

Sounds like you had an engineer selected and were in one of the build menus so you couldn't do anything.

Used to happen to me until I learned to spot it. Next time this happens look in the bottom right corner and see if you're in the build menu.

I'm pretty sure I was not in the engineer build menu, I can still use F1, F2 to select the buildings and the unit production menu can pop out, but I cant build anything even with the hot key, on top of that, I still cant control any of my units.

THis happened to a friend in a 4v4 and 3v3 tonight on 3 separate occassions against different people, it seems to be a bug. He was screaming down the mic that the units had a "mind of their own", we assumed insanity, looks like I owe him an apology.......

this has happened to me about 4 times since the new patch.
it happens with every unit, you click on the units they walk off in completely wrong direction you are wanting them to go and tanks just drive off on their own
I love this game but EA springs to mind about their 1.3 patch and all their problems it created and bringing out a patch for the patch. why cant these be spotted in testing. surely for godsake people can pick up on it testing otherwise it may be a great idea to get a small part of the coh community to test it out instead of the hairbrains who currently do it

Nothing so severe - but I certainly have noticed that tanks seem to rush off on command and are difficult to regain control, having to repeatedly click. it is very marked since 1.3?

Happened to be once today in a team game. Thought I had the caps lock button on, or something equally n00bish.

Slamming multiple buttons, random clicking etc seemed to have rectified things.

legit bug. Sometimes units dont follow order or end up staying grouped up for no reason even after deselecting them. It doenst happen alot but more than enuff to be noticiable.

Great friends that you guys are. Assuming that your friend was insane instead of thinking that he was having problems with his game.

There MIGHT be a bug out there that when you click on one unit, another gets selected. Probably caused by corrupt pointers (or whatever the correct mumbo jumbo is to indicate that you're clicking on a unit you see, but when you click on unit 12345678ABCDEF, it's got the wrong unit associated to it behind the scenes).

If any of you guys have this happen again, try to overcome the immediate frustration, keep a cool head, and write down everything about the circumstances and the effect it has on the game. If it is a bug, detail about it is the only way to get it fixed.

Certainly, if someone can post a warnings.log and save game from one of these matches I would like to look at it.
