In addition to the General Tabletop Rules (with particular emphasis on Rule 5 - No statlines/points costs!), Strategy and Army Lists has a few extra that are specifically relevant to the section.
Rules
6) No ‘What army should I collect’ threads. Until you have narrowed down your options to one or two armies, there is no point creating a thread about this. There is a wealth of information available on every army in the game available via a search on the matter, and it’s impossible for people to give constructive feedback on the best army for you personally since they don’t know what style of play you want, or what appeals to you. Threads asking such a vague question inevitably are met with a flood of responses from people telling you to pick the army they like best, which is a waste of time for everyone concerned.
7) Before posting an army list, read this. The easier your list is to read, the more likely you are to get feedback relevant to it. Copy/Pasting a list straight from Army builder is not likely to get you any information that doesn't revolve around cookie cutter lists.
Guidelines.
3) In an exception to the normal ‘No bumping’ rule, you are allowed one, and one only, free bump to your thread if, and only if, there have been no responses within a reasonable timeframe (at least 24 hours). We know that sometimes threads get forgotten about here, or that, due to the high amount of active threads on the front page, it doesn’t take long for it to fall off, so this is designed to allow you the chance to get some visibility on a thread that hasn’t been noticed, or has fallen into obscurity. Be aware however, that this is not an excuse to spam ‘lol bump’ at every opportunity. Likewise, the staff can see your deleted posts, so don’t think you can pull a fast one by deleting a previous bump and then posting a new one.
Useful links. A collection of threads aimed at those who may be unfamiliar with the forum, which cover some of the most frequently asked questions, or frequently covered topics. These are the cream of their respective discussions, so it is highly recommended you read them.
