    No problem, especially considering the fact that the AI has a tendency of "cheating"
    DoW AI doesn't cheat: it simply "exposes" holes in the code. Its also invaluable for finding "logic errors" noone else could ever find.

    Gotcha - funny thing is that Seeker Missiles in TT don't have a range limitation, hence the reason that there is no range limitation in the mod.

    Guess giving them Earthshaker Gun range would be alright...

    I was tempted to make one with the initials of Firestorm Over Kronus and add an -er to the end of it. But better judgment won the day.

    Played the Orcs last night ( im still getting used to playing as them in vanilla ) one thing I did notice is the AI partner I had didn’t up grade his War Boss just used him solo all the time. Sure there was something else but It was late and I was running from a SM and IG onslaught.

    One more thing sorry not the one I was thinking off with the Orcs.

    The Skull Champion , fantastic model, just one thing the mark of Krone, its a bit shinny and solid, a few chips dents or wear and tear would look better, not poking fingers its amazing mod just it looks a bit out of place as is.

    Will we see CM dreadnaughts?

    Just drag and drop the FoK file from the rar into your Dark Crusade folder. When it asks about overwriting files, tell it "Yes To All", and you're done.

    That's very odd. I just checked the links and they all work for me. Don't know what to tell you.

    I just had an awesome game on Fata Morga with CSM vs SM!

    I went for a straight annihilation with no take and hold (harder AI) to see how the game would play in a drawn-out engagement. I haven't gotten the hang of Chaos yet (I usually take Eldar), but they're so much fun! I took the Mark of Tzeentch and smothered his infantry with repeated Doombolts I thought it was game over when he brought out his Landraider, but I had enough melta bombs to put a big hole in it and my Predators eventually drove them back. I massed for an assault on his forward base and dealt significant damage, but I didn't have enough momentum to carry it through to his primary base. He'd also been sneaky enough to snatch my relic away while I was saving for my own Landraider (d'oh) during that engagement, so I was left with a heap of requisition and not enough time to spend it in as he launched his counter-assault on my base. In the end I lost my Predators, sealing the fate of my traitor marines. I found it pretty tough to get the ball rolling, relying on my static defenses to ward off his tacticals and FC while I teched up. But I certainly had a good shot at it thereafter.

    I used a few packs of horrors, but they didn't deal as much (morale?) damage as I'd expect them to. I need to consult the codex, before commenting really.

    Still, one of the most enjoyable games I've had with DoW to date!

    I'd actually be really interested to see other players' replays from some of their best games. Any chance of that happening around here?

    On a slightly related note, I've noticed that the Plague Marines no longer leave a trail of rot in their wake - have you changed that deliberately?

    Now must wait patiently for my beloved Prince of Excess to return. It's okay I should be doing more sound file now... it's just sort of depressing to redo everything.....

    Stalled reinforcement during combat is intentional. There are 2 assassins, Vindicare and Eversor. Must be a tool tip error

    As of now battles seem who spawns the predator first - this awesome khornate lord just does not enough time to maim more corpses...


    Q: In tabletop is it true that a heavy bolter can't put a scratch on a predator tank? Or a chaos lord possesing a daemonic axe (like your khorne version in game) ?

    It can't touch it's front armour, but it can the others. Don't know about the Chaos Lord though cos the new codex is all screwy and I don't think it has that weapon option.

    One question? When I take the mark of Krone in CM I cant get the Bloodthirster out after I have researched it. In fact im not sure I have see it when I have played Vs the CM ill have a battle and confirm this.

    the reinforce rule is that you cannot gain additional squad members or weapon upgrades while in combat so you have to drag your pred away alittle while, while it gets those las cannons

    cant wait for an update i want sniper teams

    also should scouts sniper rifles hurt buildings and tanks as much/at all?

    cos one of my friends last night totally pwned me with an army of 3 scouts and 2 ASM squads

    Look at XDeathX sig pal, it's "Emporer" there. Didn't encountered such spelling before. And I am from Russia, so it is "Imperator" here. But never mind and sorry for off-topic.

    Yeah, I know I didn't make it, so the person that did accidentally misspelled it.

    I'll be having a new sig in some time, though.

    Everyone who is wondering about the BT summoning, when you have a squad, with a squad leader, for example, you have a squad of zerkers with the skull champ, right where the melta bomb icon should be (above the "feel no pain" icon) is a blank spot, put your mouse over it and you'll see the outline of an icon, click, and watch the greater daemon of khorne collect blood and skulls for his thirsty god.

    When you select one of the 4 powers of chaos, are you guys going to make it so you can't choose the rest of the cult marines? When you select the undivided icon, will you get a 0-1 or a 0-2 choice on cult marines?(I don't have the CSM codex so I don't know how it is.)

    For chaos i'd like to suggest we move back to previous codex where choosing marks only restrict you to one type of cult marine, i think it gives choas a more diversified look.

    Not a good idea. The only way to keep it balanced is to use the most up to date TT stats.

And then I imaged how great they will look in the end, then Fleshp0int will texture them, my mind goes crazy. Muahahahahaha.     I tend to agree medes. I've not looked into the codex, but i've heard that you can apparently take like, a khorne lord with plague marines etc. It should stay as one mark gives you one cult choice.

    I agree with u on keeping to the older codex for chaos medes, it just doesnt feel right to be able to mix and match like the new one does, it spoils the flavour of each mark I think.

    The Chaos Gods aren't a bunch of infighting children. If they think some cult deserves some of their blessings and/or demons, they get them. If the goal justifies it, the Gods work together. Obviously.
    Not that GW needs to give any justification. Any old fluff is effectively void when never fluff is put out. New overrides Old, without any get out clause.

    I thought that was the whole point of Chaos Undivided?

    It used to be the case that Khorne and Tzeentch despised each other, and the same was true for Nurgle and Slaanesh, so you would rarely see these factions fighting together.
