Cannot Run HW/HW:C on Ati Radeon 9800

Hello,
I just bouth Homeworld Cataclysm but it only shows the 2 intros then crashes to desktop. Like the symtom nr 2 described above. I aded "comand line" /disableAVI to a shortcut and now it only shows black like 3 secs then back to deskop. I have windows xp home and Avi readon 9800. Any help here please?

Try switching to Windows NT 4.0 SP5 compatibility mode (right click on the Homeworld Shortcut and go to properties).

Also, you can try the /sw /safegl /dsoundcoop command line switches.

Make sure you have the latest patch for each game.
