All I'm saying is that Blast weapons need changing. D3 + 1 does seem a bit absurd, as some guy with a plasma cannon could effectively win the competition. As it is, the Reaper I faced could do well due to a high strat rating and a huge number of shots.

I should have won, I'm a Thousand Son, dammit

Higgen, actually mate I have to disagree.

While I do feel that the small blasts are a bit too powerful, I feel that anything with a scatter, such as the Demo Charge is not.

I am a Soccer person myself so I will draw a similarity to said sport. In the big Tournaments in the world there are 3 types of teams, the great teams, the crap teams and then the unpredictables.

Great teams will be the ones that make it through to the final rounds and win the Tournament 99% of the time.
The Unpredictables are teams that can win games and are very good, but don't have the depth to go on with it and be consistent.

NukeEm is just like that. He has an entry that can beat anyone here, but he is vulnerable. He is heavily reliant on things going his way. Sure he may make the finals, thanks to the group stage factor meaning 1 piece of bad luck and your out. However, once it gets to the knockout stage any roll that goes astray and his Tournament is over. Sure, he may get lucky... but chances are he will not win due to the erraticness of the entry.

It definately doesn't take away from the "tactics", in the Tournie. In fact, it adds ALOT of flavour to it. Everyone is going to be looking at Nuke Em's games to see what happens. And he will have a huge effect on the way things turn out. It's not another bland, power entry. It is one that is great fun, will do alot, but will probably burn out before the grand final.

Personally, I congratulate Nuke Em on such an entry. It is very clever and will be great fun to watch how he progresses.

I understand that, Moo, and I somewhat agree. Honestly, I seriously doubt he'll get to the finals unless he really has a stroke of luck. Between strategy rating rolls and the scatter dice the entry is a one dimensional character, boolean in his nature. Like I said, I love to see what underdogs can do (don't we all?) but because I'm a sucker for showmanship, I need to see them beat extraordinary odds to care, not just ones that are stacked against them.

Please note that I didn't emphasize 'strategy'. Obviously this is a far cry from anything comprehensive, yet there is innate strategy, no matter how simple. If you choose an army with a low strategy roll you focus on surviving the first combat lest you have no chance at all. If you choose a plasma weapon, you'd do well to have more than one wound. Etcetera. When I talk about one dimensional characters I'm talking about throwing the guidelines out the window. This is akin to taking an army full of nothing but heavy bolters. Still, I have to add the caveat that if the last chancer manages to keep winning, I will be mightily entertained because he'll have beaten some serious odds. I'm always happy to be a hypocrite.

I think a few people have been very quick to shortchange my intelligence and maturity and I think you're just the bees knees. It's possible to disagree on a subject and honestly not care about the situation that brought up the disagreement, you know!

    @Higgen, chill. It's okay, really.

Captain Uriel Lystane didn't even see it coming before it hit him, blowing half his chest away, he felt himself falling, but in his dying breath he fired his melta, and saw it hit home, but as his eyesight went, he could here the traitorous scum shouting "WTFPWND! I don't care if you hit me with an incredably strong melta weapon that will instakill me, I use my 5+ save to stop it". And then Uriel could feel no more.

Man, I fail my 5+ plus and he gets his, a terminator kills a captain in single combat, shame on the DA!

    Division Fights, round 2

    Group 1
    LordAba vs Worsle
The provided Cover save is 5+.
In teh first place both will fire at the same time (5 vs 5).
The Biovore hits with the Toxin Mine, resulting in 2 hits but only 1 wound is caused.
Meanwhile the Tau Battlesuit opened fire, resulting in 4 hits out of 5 from CIB and 1 hit from Plasma. And his dice is rather poor as well since only 1 wound is caused by CIB (as AP1).
The Crisis suit managed to save himself from the Toxins, but Biovore is wounded despite the presence of Cover.
It then flees during the Morale Check (it gets a 9).
    Worsle wins

Both Storm Bolter hits but it comes to Snake Eyes when going to-wound.
MooFreaky then fires his Plasma Pistol, hitting twice and both wounds.

Only 1 Bolter shot hits and it wounds, but saved by the Jetbike Armour.
The Destructor becomes 6 hits, resulting in 3 wounds. The Captain missed one save and is wounded.
A Morale Check for the Captain results in a 10 (just 1 point over) and he flees the scene.
    Random Person wins

    Norsehawk vs Prod
Yet no cover saves in this round.
In the first round the DG Terminator goes first (1/5 vs 4).
The RAC scores 1 hit and it wounds, which is saved by the Mega Armour.
The Nob then opened fire with his Kustom Blasta, managed to score 1 hit (after using 1 Ammo Runt). The shot wounds as well, but the Terminator can’t resist that and falls dead.
    Prod wins

    Group 4
    Gorb vs DoomKnights
Still no cover saves in this round.
In the first round the DA Terminator manages to fire first (3/4 vs 2/3/5).
Again no rendings are caused (again 3 hits on a 5!) and all the 3 hit shots manage to wound. Obviously, the TS Terminator stops all these.
The Champion then uses his Bolt of Change, which hits and wounds.
The Dark Angel proves he’s not so powerful to stop the power of Tzeentch however and dies after he fails the Invulnerable.
    Gorb wins

    Moleytov vs rubeo990
The presence of 5+ cover saves may please no one.
1st round. The Exarch manages to fire first (1/5/6 vs 5/4/1).
Using Fast Shot he manages to convert his 2 hits into 6 hits, with only 4 wounds.
The Palatine misses a blast and is wounded once.
She then fires her Plasma Gun, 1 hits and another overheats on a 2. Then Monoeye comes up when she checks for overheating and she dies.

    Group 5
    Cancerman vs sabreace

In their first turn both will fire at the same time (1/3/4 vs 1/2/3/4).
The Celestian hits with her Multi-melta and it wounds.
The Autarch’s Reaper Launcher scores 2 hits and 2 wounds, meaning the Celestian will die instantly.
However the Autarch follows the path of death as he fails his Invulnerable as well.
    Draw

In the first round the Dracon gets the initiative (4/5 vs 3).
He then unleashed the Archangel of Pain, but the Mek doesn’t seem affected.
Instead he pulls out the Kustom Mega-Blasta, but failed to hit even with the help of Ammo Runt.

The Mek goes first in the next round (1/3 vs 5), but the Mega-Blasta still fails to hit.
Meanwhile the Xenospasm hits and converted to 4 hits, but only 1 wound is scored and is stopped by the Mega Armour.

The Mek keeps the initiative after the last round (3/1 vs 4), and this time he hits with the Mega-Blasta which converted into 4 hits. All 4 hits wounded, but the Shadow Field stops all of these.
The Xenospasm hits once more and become 2 hits, and only 1 wounds which is stopped by the Mega Armour once more.

The Dracon regains initiative in the fourth round (5/6 vs 1) and hits with the Xenospasm, which then becomes 4 hits but none of them wounds.

Yet no cover saves in this round.
The Brother-Captain goes first before the Tau Commander (3/4/5 vs 2).
He then hits with both Plasma shots, and both shots wounds, but the Shield Generator blocks both shots.
The Broadside is able to see the Grey Knight (gets a 5) however, and unleashes its weapons. 2 Smart Missile and the Railgun hits, and the missiles only cause one mere wound when the Railgun also wounds.
The Grey Knight blocks the small missile, but failed to block the Railgun so his head is blown off.
    Wlfhi wins

    Group 7
    Doohicky vs ssj4nappa
Still no cover saves in this round.
The Champion gets Snake Eyes while the Tau Commander get a 5 so he’s going first.
The Commander then fires his weapons which all hits, and 2 Missile+1 Plasma wounds.
The Champion gets a 2 and 1 against the Missiles and a 1 against the Plasma so he’s utterly dead.
    Ssj4nappa wins

    Sleepy_Walker vs Rastani Helios
A 5+ cover save is provided in this match.
The Bikes are obviously faster so they go first (2/2/5 vs triple 2s).
The Multi-melta still misses, but the 2 Bolter hits. Only able to score 1 wound though, and is easily saved by the Lord.
The Lord then fires his staff, causing 2 hits but failed to wound.

In the secound round the Lord reclaims the initiative (1/2/4 vs 1/5/5).
Still only 2 hits are scored by the staff, which still unable to wound the hardened hull of the bike.
This time the bike manages to hit with the Multi-melta and a Bolter round, but only the Multi-melta is able to wound the Lord, and even the Cover Save can’t stop that.
Passing the Morale check makes the Lord stay.

The Lord still gets to fire first in the third round (1/2/4 vs 2/2/5), but still only 2 hits are scored and 1 wound is caused. The Bike can’t dodge into cover on time and is wounded.
The Multi-melta misses again while the Bolter hits but the shells can’t do anything.
Out of the fear the Bikers flee from the field (fail on a 10).
    Rastani Helios wins

    Group 8
    Eldanesh vs psycho_freek
We’ll see 6+ cover save here.
The Farseer has predicted the Autarch’s actions so he’s going first (4/4/2/3 vs 1/6/6).
A barely passed Psychic Test (5/5/6) sees the Farseer use the Mind War, but it has no effect on the Autarch (5 vs 2).
The Autarch responds with his Fusion Gun, which hits and wounds.
The Farseer fails her Invulnerable and is melted to bits.
    Eldanesh wins

    Freeman vs FerociousBeast
Now it’s the return of 4+ cover save.

The Nob hits with both shots however (Double 6s FTW!) but also fails to wound.

The turn after that sees both fire at the same time (2/5 vs 5).
The Lieutenant is able to hit once and it wounds, while the 2 Kustom Sluggas fail to hit.
A failed Invulnerable sees the Nob is wounded once, but he keeps on fighting by passing the Morale Check.

The Lieutenant shoots first again in the third round (1/4 vs 1) but still only 1 shot hits, which then wounds.
The Nob failed the Invulnerable and dies.
    Freeman wins

    Group 9
    n0z3k1ll3r vs General Nuke Em
    No Cover saves this round.
The Haemonculus goes first in the first round (1/5 vs 4) and score 9 hits at AP4.
Only 5 wounds are caused but it’s more than enough to kill the Guardsman even with the help of Refractor Field.
    n0z3k1ll3r wins

    GR99 vs Higgen
The cover save provided is 6+.
Both side will fire at once in the first turn (3 vs 3).
The Warrior scores all 4 hits by its Devourer and proceeds to wound by all of them.
The Veteran Techpriest hits and wounds by both Plasma Pistol shots and the Warrior falls dead.
The Devourer shots are powerful enough to bring the Techpriest to the hell with the Warrior however.
    Draw

    Group 10
    Evolution vs Cannon_Fodder
No cover saves this round as well.
The Inquisitor manages to go first before the Veteran. (1/3/4 vs 2)
But the Psycannon manages to score 1 hit only, however the shot is more than enough to kill the poor Guardsman.
    Evolution wins

    80Turnbull vs Dooks Dizzo
Still no cover saves for both side.
The Assassin is faster than the lumbering creature in the first round (4/4/5 vs 3) but manages to only hit once with the Bolt Pistol, which proves not powerful enough to wound the foul creature.
The Zoanthrope responds with a successfully casted, full-powered Warp Blast which hits and wounds. The Assassin is too slow to respond this and is killed instantly.
    Dooks Dizzo wins

Meliphis lay on the field, the assault cannon shell had breached his armor and knock him out of the fight, but the loyalist was caught in another fight before he had time to finish him, allowing the champion of Chaos to espcape while uttering a curse at his hated foe. He might have lost the fight, but the war is far from over
Ahh, Vanity proofs to be my undoing!
Well, still, long way to go.
am i going to have another go with the Eldar or will i be fighting another loyalist?

Excellent. The Haemonculous is working out just as I'd hoped. Good fight GNE.

The Haemonculous stood over the fallen body of the guardsman. For a moment his hideous features twisted into a frown, and he reached down to the corpse and picked up the small ticking object, looking at it in puzzlement. Then he threw it away disinterestedly and got back to removing the still-living body's skin

Awesome fight Rastani, that was a close one, seeing my self drawn up against a Necron Lord had me really worried.
As did going against a Tau for me =P Still, with WBB I did give you a bit of a run for your money there. Good luck in the future rounds.

Melekor, champion of the God of Sorcery, whispered praises to the Warp as the ruined form of the Dark Angel's Terminator hit the ground. The infernal Eldar had caused his scheme to go awry, yet there was still chance for success. He would not fail, for his God was with him.

Shas'el Shi unleashes all his weapons noting that his suits filters are working overtime to clean his air supply. As his foe disappears in the explosion of his missiles he shifts some power from sensors to the air filters as the toxicity readings continues to climb. When the smoke clears he sees his opponent still standing despite grievous wounds. He braces himself for the counter attack when the armored form collapses. Immediately the toxicity levels begin to fall, but El’shi activates his jetpack and jumps clear of the corpse anyway, seeking some fresh air in this accursed hell hole.

GG Doohicky, I 'm just praying that the dice gods stay with me in SRR cos the Shas'el can't take too much of a pummeling. *Goes to sacrifice some d6*

    *cringes*

So Woosle, this next fight is simply for pychological advantage...
    good luck, my friend.

It really doesn't matter if you're entering finals via the first or second place in your group, since the knockout-round progresses will be redrawn once 20 finalists are confirmed.

  35. #235
Very close match Quetz, bad luck on the morale test, I doubt my Autarch would have survived one more round. GG ^^

Luck has nothing to do with it.
It's my amazing looks and charming personality that wins those fights. It's the unstoppable one-two combination.

First I give a nice smile, then a charming look. Then before you know it I'm out the door and off home with your sister.

I won by causing bikers to flee, which was interesting. I thought having lost against Nappa in the first round, I was out, but I guess not. Good game.

    Division Fights, round 3

    Group 1
    LordAba vs Mirehn_Bielann
A 5+ cover save is provided.
In the first turn the Marine Captain manages to go first. (3 vs 1/4/6)
Both Storm Bolter shot hits and wounds (both on 4), but the Biovore makes both Cover Save!
The creature then returned fire with his Toxin Spore Mine, hitting the Captain and become 2 hits, but only 1 hit wounds, which the Captain easily saved.

In the second turn The Marine keeps initiative (2 vs 1/1/3) and fires his Storm Bolter.
Both shot hits but only 1 wounds, and the Biovore again makes its Cover Save.
The consequence of the dodging is that it misses with its Spore Mine.

The Marine keeps going first in the third round (4 vs 1/2/6).
Again both shot hits but 1 failed to wound, however this time the Biovore is wounded.
The Biovore misses, and in the Morale Check it flees (just get a 6).
    Mirehn_Bielann wins

    MooFreaky vs Worsle
This Psychological Advantage fight sees no cover for protection.
The first round of this fight sees the Lieutenant makes his move first (1/3 vs 2).
But the bad thing is that he gets a 2 and 1 on to-hit, which he fails one of the Armour Save and wounded once.
His shots wounds however, leaving the Tau has 2 wounds to spare.
The Tau then opens fire with his weapons, out of 7 shots only 1 Plasma shot misses!
But only the Plasma Rifle shot is able to wound thanks to the Daemonic Resilience, when the Aura saves the Plasma wound.
Morale Check sees the Tau runs away (on 11) while the Lieutenant stays.
    MooFreaky wins

    FINALISTS: MooFreaky, Worsle

    Group 2
    Random Person vs Tirus
This fight provides no cover save.
The Warlock seems to learn from past experience and moves with haste, but the Terminator catches him up and fire at the same time (TRIPLE 6s! vs 1/5/6).
Destructor only manages to make 4 hits however, and only 1 wounds the Terminator.
The responding Assault Cannon scores no rending but 3 shot hits and 2 wounds.
Terminator Armour saves the Marine from the Destructor, while the Jetbike proves far weaker than it may seem and the Warlock falls down.
    Tirus wins

    jackster vs Disorderly
Still no cover saves for this round.
The Captain seems to just a bit faster than the Lieutenant to fire first (1/2 vs 1/1/3).
    But the Melta shot MISSES!
The Lieutenant responds by his dual Plasma Pistol, both shot hits but one of them overheats, which the wound is saved by the armour.
Both Plasma shot wounds, and the Captain is wounded once.
The Captain’s Morale Check passes however, keeping both in the fight.

The Lieutenant regains initiative in the second round (1/6 vs 4/5/5).
Both Plasma shots hits and wounds, and the Captain misses one of them before he is melted by the plasma charges.
    jackster wins

    FINALISTS: Tirus, jackster

    Group 3
    queztacoatl vs Prod
No cover saves for this round.
The Nob is too fast to go second in the first round (1/2/4 vs 5).
But even with using 1 Ammo Runt the Ork still misses with both shots.
However, the Necron manages to hit twice with its Staff, which both shot wounds but is unable to penetrate the Mega Armour.

The Necron regains its speed and fires first in the second round (2/6/6 vs 4).
All 3 shot hits and wounds, but again the Mega Armour stops all the wounds.
The Ork responds by hitting with both shots without Ammo Runts, and one of the shot wounds the Necron.
The machine stays in the fight however.

The Necron keeps its speed of firing (1/2/3 vs 1), and 2 shots hits but only 1 wounds which is also saved by the Mega Armour.
The Nob manages to hit the Necron twice again by the help of an Ammo Runt, and this time also 1 hit wounds.
However the Necron barely stays in battle by the Morale Check (it gets a 9).

Enraged, the Necron hastens its actions in the fourth round (2/5/6 vs 1) but only 1 shot hits and wounds, and the Mega Armour still saves that.
Using the last Ammo Runt, the Nob hits the Necron twice and brings down the machine by wounding on both shots.
But it’s not over, as the Necron stands up again.

The Necron keeps the pace of the fight in the fifth round (2/2/4 vs 2) but still only 1 shot hits (Snake Eyes on another 2) and the wounding shot is stopped by the Mega Armour.
The Nob fires his Shoota, but it overheats and he’s barely saved by his armour.

    ……
OK, I’ll cut that from here.

It takes me 15 FULL TURNS to see the result. The Lord is recovered for 4 times, and the Staff simply can’t scratch the Mega Armour (and the Lord misses a LOT by MEQ standards). The Nob shoots decently but in many cases it just doesn’t wound.
Anyway, the Nob emerges victorious from exhaustion.
(The Lord just failed to come back on a 3)
    Prod wins

    Norsehawk vs Foxfyre
    No covers for this match.
The Chosen manages to go first in the first round (4/6 vs 1/4/4/3).
Both RAC shots hits and wounds.
A 2 and 1 on Armour Save means the Autarch is insta-killed.
    Norsehawk wins

    FINALISTS: Foxfyre, Prod

    Group 4
    Gorb vs rubeo990
    No cover save is provided.
The Palatine manages to move first before the traitorous Terminator (2/5 vs 3/3/6).
Both Plasma shots hit on a 6! And both wounds on a 2!
But Gorb disappointed Tzeentch by failing both Invulnerable Save (2 and 1) and falls dead.
    rubeo990 wins

    moleytov vs DoomKnights
    Still no covers are provided.
The Terminator is too slow to catch up the Exarch in the first turn (2/4/6 vs 1/1/5).
Using Fast Shot both Plasma Missile hits, while they become 5 hits in total. All of them wounds!
A Snake Eye that comes up means the Terminator is melted to bits before he can fire.
    Moleytov wins

    FINALISTS: moleytov, rubeo990

    Group 5
    CancerMan vs RedOnesGoFasta
A 5+ cover save is provided.
The Celestian and the Mek move at the same time in their first turn (1/1/6 vs 6).
The Multi-melta hits and wounds, while the Kustom Mega-Blasta hits with the help of an Ammo Runt, which converts into 4 hits all of which wounds.
The Mek fails his Cover Save and is kille instantly, while the Celestian follows his path.
    Draw

    Jianaran vs sabreace
A 5+ cover save is provided in this match.
The Dracon manages to move before the Autarch in the first turn (TRIPLE 1s+3 vs 3/6).
He then releases the Archangel of Pain trying to pin the Autarch, and he succeeds to do so, making the Autarch can do nothing this turn.

The Autarch regains consciousness and fights with the Dracon at the same time (3/4/4/5 vs 2/5).
He proceeds to hit twice with his Reaper Launcher which both wounds, while the Dracon’s Xenospasm hit become 3 hits and all of them wounds.
The Dracon succeeds to block all shots by Shadow Field, but the Autarch fails 2 Invulnerable and is at the verge of death.
He stays in the fight however and isn’t Pinned.

The Autarch continues to fire off his Reaper Launcher first (2/3/4/6 vs 2/3), but only 1 hit is caused, which wounds. The Shadow Field keeps this wound out of the Dracon however.
Then the Xenospasm is fired again, becoming 4 hits in total but only 2 wounds.
In despair the Autarch falls down when 1 and 2 shows up as his Invulnerable roll.
    Jianaran wins

FINALISTS: Jianaran, sabreace (Tied with RedOnes, but sabreace wins RedOnes before)

    Group 6
    Sword_Monkey vs wlfhi
Again no cover saves is present.
The Broadside manages to fire first in the first turn (3/5 vs 6).
2 Smart Missiles and the Railgun hits, but only the Railgun manages to wound and it’s not enough to penetrate the Daemonic Aura on the Lieutenant.
The Kai Gun is fired and 1 shot hits and wounds, but the Broadside can’t even stop this shot by its thick armour.
The Broadside stays in the fight however.

The Broadside keeps his fast speed in the second round (1/5 vs 6), resulting in 3 hits by the Smart Missiles and 1 from the Railgun.
Again only the Railgun wounds, and still the shot is blocked by the Aura.
The Lieutenant opens fire afterwards, resulting in 2 hits and both wounds.
A 1 comes up on the Armour Save so the Broadside is dead, but the Lieutenant manages to master the Kai Gun so he’s unharmed, resulting in victory.
    Sword_Monkey wins

    AHH! MOTHERLAND vs gorgan01
A 5+ cover save is provided in this match.
The Brother-Captain and the Heavy Destroyer manages to fire at the same time (5/5/6 vs 4/5/6).
However, the Brother-Captain again overheats with one of his shots, but his armour saves that. The remaining shot wounds.
The Necron is unable to see the Grey Knight for now, and is hit by the Plasma shot.
It then fails to get back up.
    AHH! MOTHERLAND wins

    FINALISTS: Sword_Monkey, wlfhi

    Group 7
    Doohicky vs Rastani Helios
A cover save of 5+ is provided.
The SRR roll determines the Necron and the Death Guard will fire at the same time (2/6 vs 1/2/6).
The Plague Banner is used, resulting in 3 wounds and the Necron is downed for the time being.
The Necron’s staff hits twice and wounds the champion once, and the Champion is killed due to inability to stop the shot by his Aura.
But the strong resilience of Necrons are already well-known, and the Necron manages to get back up victorious.
    Rastini Helios wins

    Sleepy_Walker vs ss4jnappa
No cover saves is provided in this match.
The Marines utilizes their speed and fires first (1/5/6 vs 3).
The Multi-melta shot misses again however, but both Bolter shots hits and wounds, resulting the Commander being wounded once.
The Commander then pulls out all his firepower, resulting in all weapon hits and wounds the Biker, so the Bike is destroyed by the Plasma shots before the missiles land.
    ssj4nappa wins

    FINALISTS: Rastini Helios, ssj4nappa

    Group 8
    Eldanesh vs FerociousBeast
Still no covers in this match.
The Autarch manages to fire his weapons first (4/4/4/5 vs 4).
His Fusion Gun hits and wounds, and the Bike is simply destroyed along with its rider.
    Eldanesh wins

    Freeman vs psycho_freek
A 4+ cover save is used in this match.
The Lieutenant manages to catch up with the Farseer in the first round (1/4 vs 1/2/4).
Both Kai Gun shots hit and wounds, while the Farseer again passes the psychic test (4/5/6) and unleashes a Mind War. But it has no effect upon the hardened Lieutenant.
The Farseer manages to stop the Kai Gun shots however and the fight continues.

In the second round the Lieutenant is faster than the Farseer (2/6 vs 1/3/3).
Again both Kai Gun shot hits, but only 1 wounds.
However that’s enough to penetrate the Rune Armour and the Farseer dies in an instant.
    Freeman wins

    FINALISTS: Eldanesh, Freeman

    Group 9
    n0z3k1ll3r vs Higgen
    Again no cover is provided.
The Haemonculus on bike is obviously faster than the Techpriest on foot (2/5 vs 3).
The Destructor manages to cause 5 hits at AP2, and without any sort of protections the Techpriest is fried alive.
    n0z3k1ll3r wins

    GR99 vs General Nuke Em
    Still no cover is provided.
The Suicide Bomber Last Chancer manages to outrun the Tyranid Warrior in the first round.

The Inquisitor manages to outrun the Zoanthrope in the first place (1/1/3 vs 2).
2 Psycannon shot hits, but only 1 shot wounds and it’s not powerful to hurt the foul creature.
The Tyranid responds with a high-power Warp Blast which is successfully cast, which hits and wounds the Inquisitor.
The Inquisitor manages to stop the shot however.

In the second round both side fire at each other in equal speed (1/1/3 vs 3).
Only 1 Psycannon shot hits but it wounds, while the Zoanthrope barely able to cast the Warp Blast (Psychic test on a 3) which also hits and wounds.
The Warp Field stops the Psycannon Bolt, but the poor Inquisitor is fried by the Warp Blast.
    Dooks Dizzo wins

    80Turnbull vs Cannon_Fodder
The last game still provides no cover.
The Veteran is as fast as the Assassin so they both fire at the same time (Triple 5 vs 5).
Both Bolt Pistol shot hits but only 1 wounds, however it’s enough to kill the Guardsman.
The Veteran manages to hit with both Plasma shots and wounds with them, and with Snake Eyes come out the Assassin is also dead along with the Guardsman.
    Draw

    FINALISTS: Dooks Dizzo, Evolution
    ==============================================
After watching all the fierce fights, the mysterious figure grins towards the screen.
"They should become good samples for our warriors. Bring them up to the rumble."
    "Yes, my Lord."
The figure then pressed a button. All the failed people fall into a hole under their feet, while the remainders hear a voice:
"Come. To the stage of slaughter."

Well I only need to loose once and that was a very bad LD test as I would have had to win other wise =P

edit, thinking about it I did not really loose at all, it was a victory for pragmatism.

Actually you're just lucky for that.
Since DK's SRR is just one point lower, if he goes first then you'll probably die.
