    Missing required .txt file

Since the 1.6 -> 1.61 process requires Release_Notes_EnglishUK.txt (WTF?!) and I deleted it, does someone know where I could find a copy?

    I do have:
    Release_Notes_English
    Readme_English

Uninstall, Delete the install directory, Reinstall, and Re-patch.

Oh FFS... Did it for 1.51 too...

Maybe post a warning about this somewhere?

Warning about what? Deleting files from an installed program's directory?

They're frakking text files! No other game I know of requires a previous copy of the release notes to patch! I mean come on; whats wrong with overwrite?

The readme file is perhaps the most important info you could have about the game. I can't for the life of me figure why anyone would want to delete that file but obviously you did :-(

I believe checking for the text file is a failsafe to ensure you've got the right version installed for the patch you're applying.

Anyway, if you have the DVD version, just copy it off the DVD.

It installed _english and _englishUK. I only need one set.

You could have said this earlier and saved us both a lot of trouble.

I suggested the first method, because it wasn't clear if that was the only file you'd manually deleted. The re-install method is best because if you don't know exactly what's happened to the install, the reinstall will reset your install.

Anyway, let this be a lesson to anyone reading. DO NOT delete any files from a installed program's directory.
