    "Panzers of the Ardennes offensive 1944-45"

    Sorry for being a bit dim, I am a bit of a novice, I have installed the MOD and launched it everthing loads ok, but I dont see an option to play an offline campaign, or is it only for Skirmish mode? Is there is an offline campaign how do I play it? Thanks.

    technically a pirated file is illegal, selling of copied material is illegal as well, but file sharing in general is not.

    you can simply photoshop the uniforms and send them to HalfTrack as a pdf. it is practical and by all means fine.

    then again i live in the Americas, i wouldnt know the extent of the governments reach on such matters in Europe/Asia

    Hi Halftrack, why not adding a new camo for the brümmbär? I have found an example of a Brummbär with a disc camo, from what i have seen this tank is in the sturm abteilung 217, and the photo has been taken during ardennes offensive, but i have no real proof, i have just read that in a forum, maybe someone can confirm that..

    this is very likely ardennes offensive, the disc pattern is very typical for that time period.

    And quite sorry, but as I dont have much time for the mod at the moment, fixing technical issues
    has top priority,while skin changes are not planned for the near future, as I am quite happy
    with most of them.

    Like the Brummbaer. It has camo, or does whitewash winter camo not count ?
    And if you look at it closely, you may notice the disc pattern shine through anyway.

    @Halftrack : i think there are yellow "spots" on the disc pattern, when i look very closely at spots i see green pixels, whereas the number eight, is composed with white pixels. I conclude that this tank is braun and green, with yellow spots (some of them are bigger, next to the balkenkreuz, on the schurzen...), only the number "8" is white. But i don't think there is winter camo.

    Halftrack just finished telling you he's happy with the skins, and doesn't have time for anything more than fixing some technical issues right now. Give it a rest and leave him alone.

    If you're unhappy with the skins, there are more than enough tutorials on changing them yourself.

    @GreenGriffon : ....i have only answered him. I just wanted to help him to still improve this, in every possible way, because i really love this mod. I know i could help by saying him all glitches and bugs found, but he has practically fixed all of them so i did'nt find anything to say about it. Moreover I am extremely happy with the skins, and i know it is very hard to do a skin. But i want neither to annoy you nor Halftrack, so ok, i will leave him alone.

    Whenever I attempt to play a game of this mod in 4, 6, and 8 player I get about 3/4 of the way loaded before I get an error that says " Unable to create the error report. Please verify that there is enough space in your TEMP folder". I have attempted to use the method of manually deleting everything in my temp folders with no result, and this happens with no other mod. The only solution I have been able to come up with is playing at the lowest possible graphic settings, and it does work, however I can't seem to enjoy this game without the graphics. Does anyone have any better solutions? Or could the mod team tweak something within the game?

    My specs are Nvidia Geforce 8800 GTX, and my processor is an intel core 2 quad Q6600

    RB21, that error, Error 183, is a Windows error code that results when your computer runs out of memory address space and can't process game commands properly. The reason lowering your graphics settings helps is that it frees up a lot of RAM while the game is running.

    How much RAM do you have, and what version of Windows are you running?

    But even I have departures from game. Likely, the cursor of game isn't calculated on such updatings (Mod fashion).

    Unable to create the error report. Please verify that there is enough space in your TEMP folder
    when ever i have this crash report the only solution for me was to lower my graphics. Additionally I have an Intel i5 core and a geforce gtx260 which is much better then your system. Due to this is think you will have to play with worse graphics

    I have 4 gigs of ram and I'm running vista. I'm just confused because I can run say like the Eastern Front mod fine but then it's just BOTB that crashes, is there a reason for this?

    Well, the Eastern Front mod is more in line with the regular CoH gameplay and factions, and while a great mod, doesn't add as much new content skin and model-wise as BotB. BotB is simply more of a resource hog, for what it's worth.

    Are you running the 64bit version of Vista or only 32bit? If you are only on 32bit you can't use all of your RAM, you only get access to about 3.2Gb.

    Animation of transportation of guns such false that better wouldn't do it absolutely.
    I was simply shocked, when the Sherman tank lined Tiger II from a shot in a forehead the truth almost in an emphasis.
    It seemed to me that German tanks a little weak.
    Why entrenchments in the doctrine? Not absolutely clearly. It should be free at all armies.
    For the rest everything was pleasant to me.

    Halftrack, why V-2 (Vergeltungswaffe) and Sturmtiger shoot by? It is necessary or reduce a loss and to increase accuracy.

    Hope I understood him right because the German he used was right from google translator and not easy

    Sturmtiger is too inaccuarate, true. that will be fixed in the next patch.

    There is no US airborne landing in BotB, because there was none in the real battle, either.
    82nd and 101st US Airborne Divisions joined the battle by truck.

    Ironic isn't it

    The U.S. airborne units that took part in the fighting during BotB were employed as regular infantry units to help halt the German advance. The units had been stationed there to rest and refit after the vicious fighting in Holland a couple of months earlier, so a paradrop wouldn't have been necessary. At any rate, the weather for the most part was not conducive to airborne operations due to heavy cloud cover and low visibility due to fog and snowy weather - airdrops in such conditions were simply not feasible.

    In fact the Germans had predicted and were counting on bad weather to ground British and American fighter-bombers, thus negating Allied air superiority that would have interdicted the German advance and attendant supply columns.

    So i guess there is an issue with the download from fiffa and gamersgate.

    Bad, news for me, but good news for the mod:

    I recently had an accident with my motorbike, and now am recovering from several injuries.
    Alll not that serious, ribs broken and such, but now that gives me some time for modding again.

    So I further worked at the patch BotB 3.1 and made good progress. And the mapper Tarlak501
    made three new maps of the "Unternehmen Nordwind", an additional german offensive 200 km further
    south, which started on December 31st, 1944 to destroy US 7th Army and relieve the Ardennes front.
    As "Nordwind" featured a few different vehicles, I decided to add those 2 exclusively on those maps.

    A few Jagpanzer VI B, more common as "Jagdtiger" supported 17th SS PzGrenDivision, so its finally in BotB:
    Model by Mr.Scruff, Animation by Hartkeks



    And the Flammpanzer 38(t) from Jagdpanther pack will appear, as those 20 vehicles were exculsively built for
    "Nordwind", and its planned assault on the Maginot-line. Credits to Jagdpanther,Elwood, Inukshuk & GniGruH

    Yupp, looks cool. I heard about this special purpose of production and some conversions, but couldn't find any report about their usage in this operation.

    Btw. Gurdy was not involved in this model, it was another one.
