yes, lots of things.
Unfortunately so many, that we dont find the time to post it here...
Since two weeks, I am using EVREY free minute to finish rhe mod, but it wont end
The Core is finished, 95% of work, major flaws and bugs are fixed, but we are kinda stuck in all that detail work that has to be done, until the mod will be finally released...
I oughta post some new screens though, as I have plenty of them, but no real
time to do all that, because the modding takes all the time.
I whish a day had 48 hours.![]()

I'm curiously about what do you base your models of new units on ,by referencing about the histriacal pictures of these weapon?And do you wish to make these new models detailed into every nails to fit with the historical one? I have confidence that your model will be the most realistic one among all the mods .Since my friends and I have played the 1.71 version a lot ,i'd like to give your some suggestions if you need them.Most importantly, you and other team members should take good care of yourselves ,don't be overwhelmed by the onerous modding work.

Look at the first soldier from the left (the one holding an StG44 next to the machinegunner of the team). You can see that the SS insignia on his helmet is "mirrored". It can be fixed, can't it?
Note: I don't know anything about modding or skinning. Just pointed out that detail.

Yep, the other side of the helmet is correct. I thought it was a skin issue though...damn...can't imagine how many things will be done when that OE (object editor?) is released...

Panzerjager, that screen reminds of a couple of pictures of SS members in the Ardennes with captured M1 carbines, mostly around a road littered with burning wrecks; could this be the ambush you speak of?

Nice skin! I want to know if the new Fallschirmjaeger will be armed with a Fg42 in at least one of their team members?And could the 88 be dragged by halftruck or an opel truck?

The Operation Stoesser Fallschirmjager squad has 1 FG42.
We're working on getting AT/Field Guns garrisonable in Opel Blitz/Deuce truck.
I suggest that a 88 should be manipulated by more than 2 soldiers in reality The crew includes a gunner , a loader , and a watcher with a telescope , and several guards with rifles,could this be possible to be implemented in your future work since I don't about moding ?

I think its enough, if these guards can kill a thing and are not just "punchbags" hehe.
With all that waiting, I don't think there will be many bugs left in the game. Don't hurry. Exterminate them all! Great work this mod is.

I am concerned about whether the jagdpanzer IV will be remodeled .The jadgpanzer Iv in the oringinal version is only a stug IV .I would like to give your an idea in making its new model, you may use the body of the Hezter with its top stretched longer and its gun placed in the middle.to combine with the chasis of the panzer Iv or stug Iv, and make some decorations according to its details .I don't know will this idea work,but I still recommand it to you,hope this would help to make it more realistic.![]()

That looks like a Jagdpanzer IV/70, which had the Panther's KwK42 gun. One of my favourite tank-destroyers, though it's front end was over-loaded so it's off-road performance was poor. Also had nearly as much frontal armour as the Panther, unlike the earlier Jagdpanzer IV's with the StuK40 gun, which were no better than StuGs in every respect.![]()

Also that currently mods are not working with 2.3, although Mukkel said it will be resolved soon.

heared that you are improving AI, I have found a big problem of AI in the game.That is if you have gathered all your strength to attack the base of AI , it would not be able to withdraw its forces to defence its base ,especially in an early stage when you get a jadgpanther or several ostwind, nothing will prevent you from attacking its base.This tacticts have been used to deal with AI so effectively nearly without fail by me and my friends who play this mod many times.So AI will be tough if it could call back its forces if its base is under attack.Fuethermore, AI will never perform repairment on their tanks even seriously damaged.

About the models:
It is still NOT possible to insert a new model with animation. Please keep that in mind.
Once, we had a Henschel (Production) Turret Kingtiger , beautifully modeled by Skyward,
but we took it out of the Mod again and used OFs Porsche Version, because it moved
like a rock and couldnt turn turret or raise/lower gun. Wreckage isnt possible either.
Now, with the use of model combination, we can at least use suspension of existing
tanks or vehicles, but all imported parts will still be rock solid. So making use of
moving parts in the new model part and wreckage still isnt possible. That will go with Sturmtiger and Jgpz IV (sure, its the L70 Version ) cause gun movement was
very limited anyway. It will work with maultier in actual state, cause anything is better
than a calliope mounted on a halftrack
For more, and there will be more, especially KT and US Tanks like Jumbo, Easy Eight and M 36 it isnt possible, because turret rotation is quite important.
Anyway, I will post some screens of JgPz IV and Maultier models later on.
AI behaiviour is a major concern, and not a simple one. Especially, because OF
AI seems more dumb than vCoHs, and with our changes, it will be even more
difficult. So expect this to be a long lasting development, and not be solved in
the first release for OF.

One more question ,is the wespe self-propelled howitzer feasible to be modeled,since its chassis can not be found in other vehicles(quite different from MarderIII),if you can manage it will its shells shoot from its own gun?ps:nice work on maultlier and jadgpanzer(better to give it an armor skirt)

If it's being mixed with a StuG, the skirts may show up when you apply the action; send me the files when you're done and I'll see if it's possible. I may need you to sync the skirts to the Jagd's size thoughif they ever can be animated.. sure.![]()

M36 Jackson, Sherman Easy Eight, Sherman Jumbo, PW42, Jagpanzer IV, Kingtiger with Production Turret, Wespe, Leichte Feldhaubitze leFH 18 , to name the most important ones.
and some more units, perhaps. Like M8 SP 75mm Howitzer, Sturmpanzer IV Brummbaer...perhaps!

Oh , a jadgtiger will be amazing since my friends who play the game and i are longing for that!If there would be one i hope it can be put into the reinforcements for 6th ss panzer army since they are a little bit weak now,perhaps because the SS Panzergrenadiere and the kingtiger are quite expensive and they can only appear in very late stage ,and the kingtiger may not be as powerful as a jagdpanther (as one of my friends said ), so many of us can easily beat the AI with the 5th Panzerarmy, but when it comes to the 6th ss panzer army the war will be a long and taugh one.

I am afraid, no Jagdtiger. Its definetively not on my schedule list.
Two reasons: There are no combat reports of Jagdtigers beeing actually in service
during the offensive. What use would a rolling bunker have for an attack?
Jagpanzer IV f.e. was used there extensively, and performed badly, because its
a defensive tankhunter.
Besides, I personally dont like Jagdtiger very much, waist of resources...
so I dont wann model it
You can easily beat the AI with 5th Panzerarmy, but not wit the 6th ??
Sounds I seriously have to nerf 5th Panzerarmy....
you are quite right , the jagdpanther is too easily to get ,not only me but my friends just got one and send it to the AI base, cause considerable damage to AI, especially with the wespe behind as a heavy fire support, so you can make jagdpanzer hard to get,and how about the Sturmpanzer IV Brummbaer you have mentioned can we expect to see them in the first version?since they have accualy faught in the battle of bulge,and .....perhaps i should not ask, will there be some variations of panzer IV like ausf J and H?

Ausf H is in, and the major change to Ausf J iwas the reduction of electrical turret rotation.
Brummbaer wont be in the mod until OE comes out... although it is in preparation...
