If you need help to figure out how to install it. PM me. I'll get on aim one of these nights and walk you through it. It is very easy! You need COH OF 2.301 installed.

Yea i have no idea how to play this mod, i put all the files into my CoH main, start the BOTBmod application, watch the movie then vanilla CoH starts up.
If you have yet to play a game, don't try to make it better.
Oh man! I had the very same problem when I first installed mine. All I did was extract all of the files onto a folder on my desktop. I then selected all of the files that need to be in my COH main folder. I then copied and pasted them into my COH main folder; overwriting the old files.
I then opened the MOD with the BOTB.exe NOT the one with the video. The one with the video still opens my regular COH game. Try this first. If it does not work for you I will return you PM.

havin trouble running the mod, i think i have everything in the right place (forgive my rudimentary description i am technologically inept), anyway i start the battleofthebulge with the icon and get through the intro video but it then loads to normal coh, can anyone help and take the time to walk me through this?

Open BOTB with the white BOTB icon that says: BOTB.exe
Do not open the game with the introduction video. I said in my post above that it opens up the regular game.

well, normally the Battle of the Bulge.exe works, but if it doesnt,
you could start it via BotBMod.exe But the Battle of the Bulge.exe
is just starting the movie and when its finished, it start the BotBMod.exe anyway.
-IF anything is in the right folders. This here seem, that the BotBMod.dll or the BotB.module files may be missing. Please doublecheck.
ALL the files from the rar have to be extracted into your CoH root folder.
@Panzer_Jager: Dont know what you mean. Buildings stay the same for the mod, like
in CoH. You just have to choose a doctrine before being able to build more than barracks.
How can I add a new map to the mod? I tried putting the .sga file into the my documents etc etc map. But it didn't worked at all. I used the .exe file btw.

You can't play .sag maps with the mod because it is in -dev mode. What you can do, is putting other maps (not .sga versions) in the BotB/WW2/scenarios/mp/ so you can play them
Thanks for the great mod. I love the tech tree's and the adjustments to balance. The maps are awesome. BotB is the most fun I've had in CoH yet. Also great intro film.
If stupidity got us into this mess, why can't it get us out?

*edit* also, what if officers and/or recon squads have the ability to "scan the field", a power that allows them to use binoculars to reveal an area covered in the shadow.
This ability can be limited in rage, but can have just enough reach to be useful, such as: spotting targets on a specific road for 88s and arty, thus allowing them to put their range to good use, since they do have weak armor.

i mean the panzer elite are gone but i see their units in screenshots so the whermact get some of their units and also do u use whermact base buildings??
thanks for the help halftrack and teleon but i have tried what you said and nothing seems to work i have a feeling im doing something wrong. on that note i have noticed that the botb icon does not have .exe in its title but i do have BotbMod.dll if that helps ill list them in this order Battle of the Bulge (with icon of german soldier), Battle of the bulge US ( with american soldier icon), Blink ( with Blink icon), Botb (i tried to open this and it asked me what i should open this with so i clicked reliccoh was this a bad move?), Botbmanual(pdf file which works), BotbIC2 ( with veterans icon), BotBMod ( no icon), BotBMod ( weird icon with books i think it might be winrar icon), BotBMod.dll (no icon) then it just continues with coh root folder CohOF etc i hope this helps and if u can resolve it then you are a smarter than me ( not hard lol)

Well, basically, this Mod isnt really CoH/OF. Panzer Elite isnt gone for the mod, it didnt ever exist.
BotB did use most of the "PE" Stuff back in 1.71. It tries to reflect the Wehrmachts
and US Divisions equipment of the Ardennes Offensive and so is based on Wehrmacht and US only.So of course all buildings of them are in, but with more units to build,
even depending on the doctrine tree u choose.

Lets try to locate that...
But first of all:
It continues with CoH root folder?? You are sure ?? This should mean, that
you didnt extract to the right place... it has to be IN your CoH root folder, not
anywhere else. Be sure its in the same folder as your RelicCoH executive.
Second and most important: You dont seem to have the BotB Folder extracted.
By clickuing at BotBMod ( no icon ) the Mod should load up , if not, something
is not in place.
@knife: No, they cant. Neither cant US engineers.
Either you build repair stations, or specialized Repair teams.
( or call them in for the German 5th Panzerarmy )

No pioneers can't repair tanks and other vehicle's anymore. If you want to have your tanks repaired, choose the repair guy's from the tech tree (forgot their name), or build repair bunkers.![]()

No, you cannot choose which of the tanks get repaired first. What you can do however is, send one tank back to get repaired at a time. I know this is a bit of micromanagement. However, I like the fact that I don’t have to tell my pioneers to repair my vehicles anymore. nor consume manpower doing so as now I can just send my damaged armor to the rear for repairs and reserve.![]()

I've been playing the beta of the mod, and I am really impressed. Outstanding mod, or more of a total conversion. I like the factions/command trees and units. I really like the maps I've played (only the 2-player ones so far).
The skins and new units are really good looking. Looking forward to doing some comp-stomp in the future with some buddies...(hoping the sync error is sorted out).

Would this mod work with v2.300?, dont feel like updating to v2.301 until i find a FREE trainer/or cave in and pay CH for it.
Why do you need the trainer?its no fun that way, thanks to cheats I never got the real hang of online Age of Empires -.-

Just downloaded the mod and tried Manhay (against US Expert). For some reason the AI gets huge manpower bonuses (x4 on expert, which reminds me of the AI mod), but never move the troops around - it deposits it in huge blobs , which make nice and easy targets for artillery... but it is rather boring..
Anyhow, it is a nice mod and great to encounter large number of US tanks..
One thing.. what is the use of the Opel Blitz? I assumes that the cooldown times for nearby artillery would be lower (since the description says that it is used for transporting shells), but it doesn't seems to be so...

we had AI troubles on some of the maps, which have been eliminated for the upcoming new version.
The use of opel blitz/ deuce is to have a cheap troop transport.
New version seems amazing HT! I especially look forward to the new tank combat.

Another thing, tho... I was playing Wehr and I can't seem to heal my troops any longer, neither can I repair my Flak88 - not even when there's a repair bunker nearby...
is there any way to heal troops and repair at-guns and flaks?

I had some funny AI too playing Wehr, the Allies let me take the entire map and then decided it was time to counter attack. It was a little late...

wait, so the higher the difficulty, the more manpower the enemy gets? well that explains alot >.<. Also, are american trenches weaker? they keep getting destroyed, and i see that German trenches can withstand just about everything.
