The word "pioneer" means "sapper" or "engineer", but the translation is "advance guard".
The info of map Schneeifel. The original text is "9000 US soldiers went to captivity", but your translation is 7000. At the very beginning I translated BOTB, I also thought BOTB team made a mistake, and later I found I was wrong. The U.S.Army lost not only 422nd and 423rd Regiment, but also 589th and 590th Field Artillery Battalion, part of 81st Engineer Battalion, part of 14th Cavalry Group, and some other units. German 66th Korps reported they captured at least 8000, so the number 9000 may be correct.
All of the maps' info are translated as one long sentence without any interpunction, as I'm also Chinese, but it's very hard for me to read or understand.
The different military organisations are mixed up:

The Waffen-SS had no equivalent ranks for Stabsgefreiter (Staff Lance Corporal) or Fähnrich (Officer Candidate) - not like you'd really need that I'd think

In general we can use Wehrmacht ranks instead of SS ranks, for easily remember and identify, but translate them as Allied or some other armys ranks may be inapposite. "Waffen-SS Brigadier", sounds funny. Different army has different ranks, in Chinese Army, the rank equals to Brigadier is "Senior Colonel", but we never translate Brigadier as "Senior Colonel", that is "Chinglish". And "General der ……" depends on different arms:General der Panzer, General der Infanterie……but in PLA, there is only "General 2nd Class", no matter which arm. Should we translate "General der ……" as "General 2nd Class"? Surely no. Just follow the meaning to describe the ranks well and truly.

new game modes like infantry only and also alternatively classical vcoh flag capturing, troop surrendering ,
spanish, french and chinese text and a lot of fixed bugs will intensify your battles in the dense forests of Belgium and Luxemburg for sure.

The american scouts are overpowered, in open field one scout unit against 1 volks squad and 1 kubelwagen and won the scouts, wtf.

I have played some games last night, and I found that the botb background music comes with vCOH's together, I think maybe the reason is:

Didn't have many issues with the exception of:
1) the infantry gun, the German Paras 75mm. It must have had some sort of fire effect for "auto" fire didn't it ? Wheeled it up behind the lines and it just sits there.
2) I chose "elimination no limit" as my rig handles it and I like big battles, but then I could not make stuff because everything had a cap. Sort of redundant to have an "unlimited" option and then put a number restrictions on the units.
Well....! it was grape juice!!

Halftrack, for what its worth, your mod is by far the most complete mod this community has ever seen, and also holds the best balance of historical accuracy and pure fun I have ever had out of any mod for any game. Execellent Mod. Love the skins and the AI changes are pretty good, can be really challenging with the right map. Skins are great too. Keep up the good work.
Halftrack, thank you so much for all the hard work you have put into this great mod. A question though. I'm patched to the latest one, and had no problem with the download.
But I don't see how to build armored units. I know you need an an armory but one does not come up. Also when I earn the chance to build an a unit like a Jadgpanther the small box does not
come up to be able to build one. I played the heck out of your last mod but I must be doing and or not seeing something in this one.

I'm having a problem with BotB crashing. I can start the mod, and I can go into set up a skirmish game, and it even loads all the way through. But when I click when prompted to enter the game, it crashes. :[
Any ideas of how to get it to work? I've tried lowering my settings.
@Coupe: You selected the "Infantry Only" Mode, didnt you ? ^^
@Instago: lowering the settings would have been my first proposal, but normally, if that is the case, the game hangs up while loading a map.
On first sight... have you CoH,OF and ToV installed and patched to the latest version of CoH ?
Yes, I have the steam version so everything has been updated automatically.
Also, I managed to get into the game by lowering *all* settings to their lowest value. But it crashed within a minute anyway. :[

Hi Halftrack, I got the mod to work with your fix and reinstalling CoH and OF. But I just got a crash in the middle of a game. And another about 10 minutes into a game. Should I just try lowering settings further?
Mod good, but balance shit, rubbish! Sturmtiger very much shoots not neatly. Entrenchments build restrictedly armies.
The shooting sound mg taken of blitzkrieg - cuts on ears!!! Europe at War v6.1.4 the balance is better!

Hi, 3.0 is an excellent version, better than 2.7, and i thank you for that. But in my opinion i find it's a few a pity that halftracks (m3 and sd kfz 251/1) and vehicles like jeep or kubelwagen do so few damage against infantry...i know their role is not really to kill but it is the recognition (and/or) transport...however, i can't bear that a sd kfz 251/1 only kill 1 soldier after a long fight with an mg34... I don't want these vehicles to be as good as mg gunners but at least better than riflemen (or volksgrenadiers). Moreover i have found a problem with icons for jeeps and for the sabotage squad of greif operation when the are unlocked (not in the tree). And when i play with germans, i find AI very slow to build tanks (even on hard and expert), they often build pumas, halftracks, and sometimes tanks but in the very late game whereas the us has already used tanks for a while...(and there is no lack at all of ressources).

abot the MG damage of jeeps / halftracks: you are right, their job is different. Its scouting and transport. On the other hand, an MG is an MG.
But according to that, tank MGs also need to be stronger.
I already buffed suppression recently, so they give better support, but they both might be slightly more effective.
about the AI...that mostly depends on the map, I think. Most times I didnt have problems with the AI building tanks.
For me its sort of killed playing the mod, although the surrender stuff is nice ect, all the other modes and beefed command trees ect have just taken away the classic feel the mod had before. Plus even on a 4 v 4 large map i never had graphic lag before, until this version. Nice but i think overdone, just seems to have too much now where as before it was just fun to play, now it become a chore.

Many people asked for an Infantry-only mode, enhanced commader trees and a lot cried for the old vCoH capture system.
And you might know how it feels, if you are rolling... I could do this, and that...and how about this.... you keep on going.
I think Version 3 is terrific, Halftrack. Really top-notch work.
I would however like to see the sight ranges extended a bit, for infantry at least. The radius is way too small, which makes the game unnecessarily restrictive (and rather unfair) since the AI doesn't appear to obey LOS rules. The sight ranges of scouting units should be adjusted upward accordingly, of course.
I agree with making tank MG's slightly more deadly. I can't tell you how aggravating it is to see a single flame pioneer come strolling up to the front of my tank and flame it, destroying the engine, with no hope of stopping them. That's already happened to me at least a dozen times.

Just a minor thing... It seems that the projectile of the Sturmpanzer IV's 15cm is missing. No tracing and no damage - just an explosion...
I put in a version of another mod and now it works fine...
Oh, another oddity.....the projectile speed of the M18 Hellcat seems really slow. When it fires, there's a very noticeable delay between the muzzle flash and the shell impact.
