I just took a loss for no reason :(

Has this ever happened to you?

You try to start a ranked game, decide it's not going to find a match any time soon, so you try to cancel. The stop button doesn't do anything, so you try to log out...only to have the game suddenly connect and launch, right into a game that never starts and you have no connection with the other players.

Then when you exit you get no response from RO (the chat and game list are both empty) but you can't log out.

There's a problem somewhere here. The game shouldn't attempt to start if I'm logging out. Now I've got to kill the process and start the game up again, and probably take a loss/drop because CoH couldn't decide whether it wanted to log me out or start the game, so did both.

So.. did you or did you not get a loss? kind of confused here..

The Stop/Cancel button usally work, perhaps it had gone to far to be able to issue the stop order?

Yesterday I had 3 games in a row freezing on me from the start. The games never even started. Ofcourse I simply quit the game but I got a loss for all 3... Then the 4th game I play against a lvl 9 and win. And guess what.. win is not updated ;(

Now thats annoying. I guess the freezing happens when somenone quits during the loading or just before. It was the same guy all 3 times.

Read what he wrote more carefully, he said he took a loss and the "probably" part is him assuming what was happening when it shouldn't have.

well i got annoyed, becuase I lost my 2v2 lvl 8 because of a Sync error, i lost about 100 places becasue of that
