    "A Necromunda guard ARMY?"

The first plastic boxed guardsmen models were supposed to represent guardsmen from Necromunda.

hmm im playing with the idea now of having beastmen armored with guard like armour as i dont want to go down the fantasy route with them. so a goat headed gas masked, pipe ridden, hooved, guard armored, blade wielding, pistol toating unit. type thing.

Yay for beastmen, especially if they look the old way (yeah oldskool FTW!!! )
However, i would leave them un-gasmasked to better reveal their abhumanity (well, just as if hooves and fur weren't big enough hints...). Besides, the gasmask is a tad too reminiscent of nurglites... probably something now too ingrained in the mind of 40kers.

I also remember that back with Slaves to Darkness, the WE could field slave beastmen who wore explosive collars... Now, that could be fun to use, meatshield and living bomb.

I hope they have axes if nothing else. IMHO they should have pipes (maybe jutting from the back of their necks) going from their collars to their skulls, for quick injection of fenzon!

I'd have to agree with Lleman about gas masks, seems a little too Nurglesque.

Maybe fenzon injection and explosive collars could be worked in as abilities...that would be awesome!

Cat, so basically you want big Trolloc-like beastmen? (Trolloc=big humanoid with loads of animal features from the Wheel of Time)

Everything a dreadnaught should be. Really has that bad ass evil look about it. By the way you might wanna change the thread title so people know to look at this.

hi all, wow glad you all like the dread, theres still work to be done on it btw. i could add other weapon arms but theres an issue that it id need total new anims for each of em, which limits things. another prob atm is that the dreads fighting things around 2 meters from where they are, hitting air to put it another way. though the synk kills work... its bizzare.
news; dca is rigged, i edited the bike a bit added the new kwecsm as a rider, finished the renegades, finished the kwe extra bits virtual sprue

Not to be demanding, so I apologize if I'm speaking out of turn.

Is there any way you could display any of the things you mentioned. Renegades or DCA especially as they both sound incredibly cool.

Also does anyone know what the Renegades are exactly, I assume they're Chaos Marines of some sort but I've only been playing Warhammer 40,000 TT for about two years and the only Chaos Codices I have are the two newest ones...so I'm really in the dark with alot of this stuff. For example IIRC you called them Heavy Weapon Renegades, if this is the case what's the difference between a Renegade and a Havoc?

Renegades are sm chapters who turned to chaos far more recently than traitors legions like the World Eaters. They have different armor and weapons but thats as far as my knowledge goes.

well a renegade can be anything that has turned to chaos as you said like the astral claws , now the red corsairs led by huron blackheart or the more recent forgeworld miniatures of the imperial guard renegades http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/acatalog...CESSORIES.html
if you scroll down there you can find loads of the renegade militia conversion kit things.

    ah
now how do i explain it..... well the renegades relate to 2 separate things in chaos. recently its the name for non traitor legions ala the new chapters that have recently turned to chaos. the other things called renegades come from the very start of chaos in 40k. there csm that have been given demonic gifts, extra limbs, tails, helmets reminiscent of demons.
in this kwe mod theres a real lack of heavy weapons so i've put in heavy weapon renegades quite late on in order to solve that. there a bit like havocs but with their weapons fused to em.

hmm not really, renegades only have one heavy weapon, the rest is close combat. plus the renegades weaponry is things like heavy bolters, missiles, heavy plasma. plus there pretty quick. there more like havoks

Another question for you, Catwell, are going to make any more Daemon Units besides the Bloodletters? It's always nice to see more Daemons featured in an army composed of their spawn.

Its going to be for a game mod that catwell is creating that involves capturing the titan for use. He said that on numerous occasions.

Are you sure? I thought Warhunter mode would let each race have their own titan-class weapons.

Cool, thanks for the info about the Renegades Catwell! Also: your new project...is it something Chaos-E?

EDIT:...you said the Renegades were finished? Can we see them soon?

Wow that sarcophagus reminds a lot of the 'hellblade' variant found on cool mini or not. The link and author escape my mind at the moment.

    Well done catwell great dreadnought.
Fear not the Snake for his guile, nor his silence,
Fear him for his speed at striking, the clenching strength of his coils,
The armour of his scales, and the sharpness of his bite.
Fear the Snake, oh enemies of Man, for his coils encircle us
And his bright eyes, unblinking, watch over us forever.
