    Dani and Grim just decided to stop working on those projects and NOT hand them to anyone. Not my decision even though I have their builds when I did the AI for em. Tragic really but if anyone has anymore clout to persuade both of em (well, Grim is totally gone as noone can really talk with him reliably) to hand em over to be finished kuzz its a complete waste of 3+ years of toil, swet, and passion to just see em all fail.

    well since black legions pulled out what you going to do with your models now mr catwell? and youve probably said this soo many times before but i have forgotten (blonde, memory like sive ) but how powerful is the roc bloodthirster compared to normal relic units, obviously its going to be more powerful but is it going to be like level everything else when got or is there going to be some form of balance? maybe take up more cap space?

    well i have a working decimator, defilers are allready in game, the bl dread wouldnt be so hard to do, neither would the doomwheel, i have a wide range of lesser daemons. perhaps i should make another icon available at the icon building, a eye icon surrounded by 8 arrows.....

    Your work looks fantastic Catwell. I was wondering are you going to release the mod only once it's finished like Complier's Demonhunter mod? (I hope I spelled Complier's name right). Or are you going to release once it's playable like FOK, the Tyranid mod, or the Harlequin mod?

    as for when the mod ill be released, or in what state should i say. it ill be in a witch hunter mod like state probably with alot of units working and in game but with more to come. im not going to release it before its working properly

    ok my 4 block on tau is almost done, but my business has fired up once again so kwe mod ill be reliant on gaps in the schedule

    hi , well im still waiting on a massive code update. the tau 4 bloc is done however and sent off. the business is eating my time atm. melee is still being arsey most units arent functioning satisfactorily in melee(they work its just quite out of synk which is a bugbear, things dieing when theres no swing by my units) its a pain

    Awesome mod Catwell, so is this mod in BETA or ALPHA? and how strong are the termies? and what addon for em?(if there are any). are you making any changes to the game so it wont be compatible with combiner? cuz it would be awesome to face the inquisition with KWE xD.the DCA looks awesome. keep up the good work!

    hey all, well ive been working on my business of late(which requires all of my creative juices) and as all of my staff have gone awol, the mod hasn't moved for a while....
    as soon as the business starts moving smoothly i can resume work on the mod, though it still has issues with melee....

    sorry catwell, but since the hd crash i told you about my vid card has crapped out and numerous irl issues have gotten in the way, i still cant get on msn from this ork'd together tower and i cant use megaupload, but i DO have updated kwe code for dc AND ss, what i REALLY need is something that generates unitstats.ai files so i can wrap up my private project then break off the parts that are "ALLOWED" to be made public, including kwe, most of what you said you wanted last time we spoke is implimented its just a matter of getting the unitstats.ai together so i can test it (and everything else im working on) and then break it off for you, i'm very sorry for the enormous delays but i have way to many irons in way too many fires

    Why? You trying to add custom units to the game and let the AI play em? I have such a program courtesy of InsaneChainsaw called AeP which reads a mass \attrib folder and dumps it to a file. Unitstats.ai is also there as a selectable option. But if you are consistantly adding new units then its better to code it yourself real quickly. Nevertheless, not sure why you want the AI to play your units when its *YOU* who should be playtesting em yourself -- don't worry about the AI.. it can handle your units as long as its flesh-and-blood counterpart, namely, YOU, can.

    Gawd..whats with this sudden deluge of computers and HDDs dying? Trying to help MitGas from ThousandSons recover from a RAID crash so he can finish off his texturing work. I'm shocked you all don't make backups on a regular basis.. never EVER trust the Hard drive -- its the enemy! Always have fallbacks. ALWAYS!

    dont worry i had backups, the problem is this contraption im passing off as a pc is pretty much held together by waaaaagh and it has a litany of issues

    Again why are we worrying about AI? If you are customizing your own units to test ingame then don't let the AI control em UNLESS you already did plenty of self-testing. Even then you don't need to worry about AI -- thats the very last thing to concern yourself with. There are more pressing 3d matters to content with. AI is a luxury.

    Not yet and not without catwells greenlight, which cant/wont happen til i get what i have to him which in turn wont happen until i finish my own project which in turn wont happen until i get these stupid unitstats.ai files done which in turn wont happen until i get a handy utility or i manually type them up (which will take me forever because its exactly the kind of thing that rubs my mental illness' rhubarb so i have to do it a bit at a time), assuming the situation doesn't change then it'll be about 2 weeks til i get what i have to catwell and then who knows how long til it meets catwells standards and he ok's a release......

    Yeah any new race ive added has to have at least a proper loader.ai and unitstats.ai for me to play it against the computer, the only problem for me is getting those made because my brain= , HOWEVER i now have someone helping me out with that part as we speak and he seems to be moving at a good clip (damn concrete sequentials and there amazing powahs :P) so hopefully i'll be able to send something to catwell tomorrow or the next day

    If i could find this AEP you speak of i could have a new kwe internal (as well as some non-kwe public alphas ) sent out tonight/tomorrow and you wouldnt have to divert your energies from your numerous great works

    well, good news and bad news, the good news is i could send catwell a soulstorm internal of kwe immediately if he wanted (take me like 15 minutes of sorting and zipping) BUT the bad news is i need a new tech tree document because the last one he sent me is mia since the most recent hard drive borkage and a lot of the changes i made based on it got reverted when i had to switch to backup, just need catwell to contact me and let me know what he wants, and kwe will be completely back on track.

    hey ironwarrior, so to clarify you need the notepad doc with all the techtree descriptions? how do you want me to send it to you if your emails/msn down?

    interesting fw stuff, they would make good reference. i could add a few more randomised heads into the mix. but i think its a bit late in the day for that right now.

    this mod is on internal release, if i were lazy i could just release that to the public, but its unbalanced/unfinished but its still playable(iw code should fix the imbalance). so this mod will be released at some point, as in a way it allready has been. the big question is what quality will it be when its released and thats what were all workin on atm. plus theres lots of other mod stuff in there that needs to be removed(tau, blacklegion and nurgle)

    there are 2 buildings in game, the skullgate and bloodgate. both demon buildings with animateable bits, though neither have been animated as of yet

    Love 'em! Love this mod! Are you planning on animating them/modelling the rest of the buildings before a release, or would you release it with placeholders/incomplete animations? I truly look forward to this masterpiece. I'd love to use the combiner mod to send them up against the Blood Angels!
