hi well atm its still stalled, for multiple reasons. im waiting for some rgds to see the newest units and my latest aim rig in game, to see if it works. plus ive got other things business wise ive been doing lately which take me an age to complete. so no news atm

ok we need a ae coder(ala rgd rewriter), to do some simple rgds so we can preview stuff in game. no weaponry or tech tree stuff or complex rules. just so we can see that the unit is working correctly and its anims are working. pm me or write on this thread if your interested

[edit] catwell i remembered from earlier in this thread and other times you said you would if liked to implement like a blood resource or something akin to that for the world eaters but with the game engine as it is would be extremely difficult, now that the dark eldar and the sisters of battlte have there soul and faith resources respectively would it be possible to utilise the coding for it to implement a blood resource?

Indeed it would be interesting to see how modders will make use of the new "resources," I would imagine that it is mostly done by a flag within the unit's makeup that allows them to collect it...such as the flag allowing necrons to get back up.
Then again, I am mostly in it just for the blood.![]()
Actually resources can already be implemented in game, you don't have to wait for SS. Speak to Octo about it if your interested and look at his mod. Looks interesting. He's adding different resources for every faction. With chaos you have to sacrifice units to be able to make daemons. With orks you have to kill to get resources, so this is basically what your after.

@CR.. come on man.. we all want our Khorne fill also but plezz.. let the KWE project team work as it should. I know Catwell should have an official website + forums so he could allievate questions like yours. All mod teams need an official site where they can discuss public and private correspondances.

Very simply I am asking if there is perhaps any news, I'm not requesting an update I am asking if there is one, it's a sign of interest. Are the modders on this forum really so pinched that they find that offensive? If so I suppose I'll have no choice but to shut my mouth, didn't Catwell say in the very first post though that he would reveal info about the mod based on interest? If so I can't see this sort of thing being a problem. That said I'm only human, despite being hideously mutated () and I do make mistakes, plenty too I might add, so if I'm wrong...well then I suppose it won't be the last time.

Whats the exact problem? Surely someone here can assist in this matter as there is too much at stake with this insanely cool Khorne project. Perhaps ask one of the vets like Compiler to quickly consult with you. He is beyond more than capable.![]()
ok darkelf, ive passed the ae along to ironwarrior to see if he can help, hes got most of the issues fixed, except for a desynk event that happens when a certain building is built, ill pass the updated version to you once hes fixed the desynking.
The problem is simply that half the units don't show up where they should ingame (ie, not at all). I'm fairly sure nothing is wrong in the code, since all other mistakes resulted in a crash on load. I'll have one final look through the code and then pass it on![]()
aha! it wasnt just me! the game was partly to blame!except for a desynk event that happens when a certain building is built

news;
we have code, preliminary anyway, its a bit of an ae tangleweb but its a start. the lords in game, though his anims arnt working, the brass scorpions in game and is partially working, and the zerkers have disappeared ... ive been working on some buildings, i have a tablet now so ive been doing some tablet textures. so its all moving, kind of
sweet all movement is good movement my friend.

Keep it up man, this is my most anticipated mod after Witch Hunters. The art quality seems to be about on the same level, which is to say astounding. Can't wait to see how they play though. Bezerkers are my favourite Chaos unit but the horrible relic pathfinding often causes problems in using them. I can't wait to see if these play any better!
