I got this error message halfway through the first chaos mission in the winter assault campaign. It happened right as I destroyed the last generator for the mission objective. Right after I completed the objective the screen went dark, and this error message "fatal scar error - execution paused" came up. I did standard maintence on the computer scans etc and updates drivers. Not sure what else could be the problem though. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
Can anyone please help me out? I just finished the Dawn of War campaign and I really want to start the Winter Assault campaign. I can't proceed until I find out what's causing this problem. Any help it all would be greatly appreciated...
I'm experiencing the same problem with both DoW and Winter Assault. It's on a Vista PC. It comes up right at the start of the campaigns, when it's auto-saving. Any help would be appreciated.
I just figured out that it has something to do with restricted user accounts. It works fine on an administrator account but the error occurs when playing on a user account with parental restrictions. But the only restrictions are that no websites can be accessed. Why would this interfer with game play?
If you could provide warnings.log and a screenshot of the Fatal Scar Error, then that'd be helpful.

Hi guys I have the fatal scar error.
Necron campaign in the dark crusade game.
Necrons have taken everyone out and I was invading the chaos home.
Finished up the entire level and the end cut scene started. just as the demon prince appeared in the portal remains. it crashed.
Not sure how to do anything as the game has crashed my system. So can't produce any error logs.
Any ideas?
If it crashes your system, how do you know if it Fatal Scar Errors?
