changing posture of units (stand, crouch, prone)

can anyone teach me how to change the posture of units while behind cover? (specifically heavy)

i want to enable my rangers to crouch behind sandbags while shooting bazookas. it looks cool =)

Go into the rangers ebps, change cover_ext and heavy_cover under posture to have prevent_standing as true and prevent prone as true

    u mean under cover_ext and under tp_heavy?

    doesn't work mate.

apparently behind heavy, ALL of them would rather stand, whereas on light cover, most of them would crouch.

    mind clarifying this for me?

    what's a macro?

you mean after changing those, the whole squad of rangers CROUCH behind heavy cover instead of standing?

seriously, i kept changing that part but they only stand behind sandbags!

i changed BOTH ranger.rgd and ranger_leader rgd, putting tp_heavy as prevent_standing and prevent_prone as true but there's still no change.

hmm thats what i did and it worked...maybe it was just coinsedence then...but a macro is a bit of code to perform what ever action you want on an entire folder rather then doing what u want 1 file at a time

are u sure i'm not missing anything else?

positive...but as i said it may have been a coinsedence

    And some macro's are here...http://forums.relicnews.com/showthread.php?t=157741
they are fairly easy to learn to use to do basic stuff...even though i program in c++ i still find them hard at times (and got flammed for it :@)
