Well I still have my Company of Heroes beta key, would be great if it would work for opposing force, which of course is not the case!
I managed to download all patches fine. I noticed that it asked for the COH and COH:OF CD-key when creating an account, do we have to enter in just the COH:OF one or for both?
So how do I get this mythical key? I downloaded the beta and patches from fileplanet. Will they email it to me later?
I think there will be a sign up on fileplanet and you'll receive the key. So if you've downloaded all the files you should probably just wait for that.
i timeframe would be very usefull so i dont have to waste all day sat on my bloody computer
Just be patient! I'm sure you can do something on the computer in the meantime which won't be called wasting time.

Can i use my CoH account after getting a Key for the Beta? It asks for a Beta key if i choose to create a new account, but if i try to login with the old CoH account data it does not ask for an OF beta key, but only complains the data would be wrong.

Questions go in the CoH open beta forum guys. Please to be remembering that the NDA still applies to closed beta stuff.

Has anyone thought that maybe someone, perhaps the one who posted it, edited the quote in order to make you all believe it is August 30th so that he is one of the only people that gets a key today? Perhaps he wants you all to give up so he gets a key. You also have to remember that it is only about 10:50 AM in Vancouver, they might not have done anything with it yet.

Seriously though, all the whiners, SHUT UP! You are not entitled to a beta! Relic could have decided to just do a closed beta or to do NO BETA at all! Its their prerogative if they want to delay the keys for a day. What is worse, having it delayed a day or not being able to install the beta because of some bug which then screws up your system? There is a reason it was delayed, you can wait a day, RELAX! I was just as psyched as you guys to wake up today and play the OF beta, but it didn't happen, and we'll have to wait the extra day.
So please... stop whining, its pointless.
That post you made seems kinda pointless as i don't see any posts that whine that it has been delayed to tommorow. Unless i'm blind!
Lets get together and erect a statue in Relic's honour, maybe they'll guarantee us keys

Relic happens to be in Vancouver, BC, Canada. Right now it's the 29th here. No key for you yet.
Also, I would like to point out that you get your key from FP the same way you get every single other key from FP, they have a page which you go to and sign up for that key. Like the subscriber only one someone else pointed out earlier. http://www.fileplanet.com/promotions/coh%5Fof/
