    Orks [DC1.2]Green Iz Best

Nearly gave up playing this game after months of thinking I had made small improvements to my IG play only to be firmly rooted to the bottom of the ladder with only a few wins.

Decided to heed the advice of many and try my luck with the greenskins, I am 2-for-2. Woop.

Any comments on these (very low level) games to improve my play would be greatly appreciated. But as I said, I'm on a roll.

How best to deal with harlies is my only question, if it wasn't for the timer on the second game (green_is_best.rec) I think I was in all sorts of trouble.

Thanks in advance for any advice, and thanks to White Pointer's replay pack for showing me how fun the orks can be.

Harlies can be a pain.. The trick is to keep them of your low HP squads. They can't bring down a nob squad but they will kill your stormiez that where chasing the WS and then the WS will kill your nobz. They are mostly a disruption unit (except for the kiss) so if you can ignore them do so! Heroes are a good counter as both the Mek and then MANZ will take care of it for you and If he goes heavy on harlies get a squad of big shootaz (beware of kiss) or a war truk.

They really are a pain. But they're about the earliest thing that eldar have to respond to a big shoota mass with. (Of course, the ork had to survive the dark reaper assault for that to happen, but still...)

Bad news is that since they're commander armor, your usual counters (melee from ork heroes) don't apply. Trukk is about the best counter there is, (dual heavy bolter rapeage <3) but nowhere near as early. If you expect to get danced, split your squads up, if you expect to get kissed, keep the squad moving. Nobs don't exactly do a whole lot for me vs eldar, usually because of fleet of foot. Any more than 1 squad is overkill (they won't be outmeleeing banshees anyway, use big shootas to mow the banshees down instead, and add starting sluggas + burnas if the banshees are chasing your shootas.)

(read the sticky) anyway you put it into the playback folder (thq>dc>playback) and then go to the recorded games on the skirmism menu.

Trukks have twin big shootas, not heavy bolters
