No I can't connect either. I would be nice if they would put up some kind of announcement when they do this. Half the time you dont know what is going on.

It's a everyday issue with the server being down.. it would actually be odd to wake up and be able to play a few..

The server has gone down pretty much every day for about a week. While i hope it's the patch i wouldn't assume that it is.

according to buggo the patch wouldn't be released till after the weekend....

Didn't they just do a server hardware upgrade, I think it didn't work
Buggo said "not before the weekend" like last thursday. The patch is "due" today at the latest but then again they did say "we expect" and not definatly.

She did say it should be out within a week in the same post...By Relic patching standards, this is imminent. Whether this is it or not, and I dearly hope it is, it's better they don't rush it. They rushed OF and completely spooned it onlinewise. I would like to see them put up some quality rather than an appeasement hotfix.

no idea , when its ready, when we feel like it".

You have to take imminent in context though e.g scientists say the next Ice Age is imminent
Just like imminent for Relic is anywhere up to 6 months
It doesn't make much sense...what can take so long? According to beta folks, all these changes (and more) were already in the game in late beta! Why is this patch taking forever

And what you must understand my friend is that Relic is the developer and THQ is the publisher and parent company of Relic. So I assume your point is that THQ are responsible for the OF debacle. u people forgot the game lobby news...Wednesday which it today and Thursday which is tomorrow suppose to be a maintanence and hardware updated they said it in the news....so pro ply its not a patch....which is a little bullshit though....hahahah wtf hardware and server update but no patch...

Yes you are correct, sorry in this case THQ is the publisher sorry for the mix up but you get the point. Rarely is it the developers fault things are released not ready for the public. Unless the developers suck of course and they keep pushing it back because they cant get it right. In which case those projects are normally scrubbed or a new team is brought in, or they release it anyway to make some money back and just deal with the PR nightmare

Server still down ? Cause I can't connect to relic online.
That's a shame :s I've just re-installed the game cause I had an error to patch COH with the big one (1.8 Gb) And I think The server was down this night during the download...
I checked the server status website, but I think its not updated...
PS : if one of you have solution to my old prob :
I dl the big patch with relic online, and when I tried to patch vista close the setup and said : patch stop working...
I hope its an download error...

In case you don't understand - Quazal provides the service for all new THQ online systems, including Relic Online.

Just bought OF on top of my original vCoH.
Got home , put the DVD in the drive,clicked "install"...
The demoshield installer icon flashes up but then......nothing.
Has this got anything to do with the servers being down?
