    Battle Cry volume?

First of all, hi guys! I'm new to these forums.

    So... on to my problem!

The other day I noticed some really cool battle cries coming from my Chaos Lord, but they very were difficult to hear over all the weapon fire going on.

By battle cries, I mean the random phrases the units shout out when they're in combat, such as "Rejoice in the coming oblivion!" from chaos space marines or "Break their backs!" from berserkers.

I was wondering if there's any way to make these a bit louder. Currently they are affected by the "Effects" slider in the sound options, but increasing the volume there also increases the volume of weapon fire, thus drowning them out even further. These battle cries aren't affected by the "voices" slider at all, unfortunately

Is there anyway to get around this? The voice acting in this game is one of my favourite parts about it, it'd really help if I could hear what they're saying a little more clearly!

just turn down all the other volumes you find and that might help

Like he said, turn down your other volumes and turn up your voice volume.

    Well, that's my problem.

Like I said, the "battle cries" I'm talking about aren't controlled by the voice volume, but rather the effects volume. However, turning this up ALSO turns up the weapon sound effects, which makes the battle cries just as hard to hear as before.

I'm guessing the solution will be modifying some values somewhere in the sound code, but I don't really want to mess around in there because I wouldn't know what I'm doing. I'm just wondering if anyone else has done this before and can help me out.

EDIT: Ah, nevermind guys, someone posted my exact same question over in the Adeptus Modificatus sub forum. I'll try out their solution and see if I can get some results.
