    This modell at samur is the last king tiger in the world at running conditions! But apart from this i would also like to see you working on the kt modell again your first concept was already nice

    Hi all!
    The KT shown is the one inthe museum of Saumur, France. I know this one, it's great... A friend of me also get the the role of panzer leader for a demonstration of this panzer...
    The pattern is also historically accurate and easy to do... As a lot people ask for it I could go on my work for KT...
    I will realease the update of the Sdkfz 221 before...

    Seems like I cant download Pz4 skin from your site - it stops downloading just before whole file is finished.

    Well i'm glad so many people liked the camo on the KT in the pic i posted up. Luciferum, it woudl be really good if you could do that camo for the KT, or at least finish the one you'd started once your done tweaking all the other ones your working on.

    Well for the head and helmet of the TB... I knew, but I don't see what do do to correct this. I've just repainted the helmet, so the problem is Relic modelling that seemed to be hidden because the genuine helmet was dark gray.

    @jarhead and Monkey:
    Actually I still have some tuning to do... then I will release it in a new update of my mod including:
    - PE Pz IV;
    - WH Pz IV;
    - KT skin;
    - update of sdkfz 221/222;

    To be honest: I do not really like your KT skin at the moment. It looks like a simple recolour of the standart KT skin.
    You should try to get closer to the pic posted by Lethal Dosage: Fewer but bigger stripes, applied vertical to the tank's sides and a bit more satisfied colours.

    EDIT: This picture shows it quite well - I would love to see this camo just ingame just as shown on the pic:

    Actually, I think this KT in Saumur is the most beautiful KT I've ever seen...could you also apply markings and the number just as shown on this pictures?

    AFAIK black helmets were used by non-combat SS troops. I haven't seen a picture of a German WW2 soldier with a black helmet in the frontlines.

    Your skins are looking awesome luciferum, but I'm sry to say that I appear to be having the same download problem as Cortlendt. I believe its due to a slow connection that I'm getting with the download...so the sever resets before the download is done.. Any chance of you uploading it on the forums? i'd really love to give your skins a try...

    That KT looks great, but i do also think that it'll look better if instead of just recolouring it you actually repaint it with the thicker more vertical stripes and try to get the colours a little closer to match, but if it's a beta than it's a damn good one.

    My KT is a beta version. I aim to totally repaint it but thats a big work because I have first to erase all Relic stripes.
    But, this time the Relic stripes are not so bad and there's no matter about their width... each panzer had a quite different camo
    I'm almost sure that the KT from Saumur museum is fully repainted.

    Have you released any of your WIP skins for the normal Panzer 4? Its just they look great but you haven't mentioned them anywhere.

    1. The Wirbelwind should get an update, I think it should be something like the colors used on the Jagdpanher; it's to shiny the way it is right now.

    Luciferum do you knwo how to create the green Normal maps for units and vehicles, if so how? im using photoshop at the moment and im trying to create a normal map for a diff texture of a unit s skin.

    I do agree about wirblewind... The adjustment will be done in modifying the specular file or gls one (don't remember now) ... this is the one that create some reflection...

    Do you mean to create nrm from nothing or modify former .nrm files.
    If this is modify, you have to modify green channel and also the alpha channel...

    I haven't worked on KT... since last preview... actually there's a lot to do on it.
    I think I will alternate my work like : 1 soldier skin - 1 vehicle skin.

    Actually, I would like to modify the 'volksgrenadier'... I know some people will schriek (?) but again I will turn them to Waffen SS...
    AND... tada ! I have a real argument now... how come volksgrenadier have 60 hit points each and PE grenadier only 55 hit points each... My answer, the poorest german infantry from vCOH are more healthy, so better trained than PE troopers. We could consider that vCOH germans called "wehrmacht" by Relic are more elite...
    .. and vCOH grenadier have 80 hp, storms 95 hp !!!!

    concerning the photo, it seems it's a unusual use of the 1st type of plane tree pattern (fall side) that was usually designed for the tarnjacke, a kind of blouse. But honnestly, I'm not really sure of the authenticity of this camouflage.
    I've many sources to say so, my best one is:


    About, peadot pattern feldmutze... I'm looking about this interesting point... but were they really usual? if not, does Frundsberg division used it ????

    Because Panzergrenadiers have a different 'target type' which 'buffs' their health to about 75.

    Yep, the camo looks like the Autumn side of one of the Planetree patterns, but i didn't think uniforms were cut from it, only zeltbahns and smocks/helmet covers, etc.

    Great work work on these skins. I just played a skirmish with them, and they are way better than the original crappy ones. I just have a question: I used the skin installer tool to get the skins working, but all 4 variation for halftracks (PE) had the same camo. How can I change it (if possible) so they have different camos? I did read something about standard and advanced modifications in your site, but truth is I didn't understand much...
    Any help appreciated.

    I love the look of these skins, mate! Will download it if it's not too big (damn monthly limit), otherwise will d/l it later on!!

    Edit: OK, I've d/l it, good work, but I don't think the Grenadiers or the Volksgrenadiers skins are working properly for me for some reason. Also, the German tank driver looks a bit weird, like a regular German soldier decided to hop in a tank for a ride! Could you reskin him to make him look like a real tank commander? Good work though.

    If I'm not mistaken, to use different skins for vehicles than basic troops it requires changing attributes files etc...
    As such, when you do that I'm not sure if you can play online with anyone that doiesn't have the same setup..

    Wehrmacht units have different .abps for Tank Crew, Vehicle Drivers, and Weapon Crew as well as Mortar Gunners and MG Gunners and Snipers.

    PE don't.

    I'm playing the original CoH, so the Germans are Wehrmacht, aren't they? It's no biggie, I know, but it would look so much better if the guy commanding the tank didn't look like a regular soldier.

    1) I think (don't know for sure, but think) it is the same.

    I know, I don't care about the Halftracks, I'm talking about the actual tanks. They were crewed by Panzer crews.

    There are some mods out there that change the Wehrmacht Tank guys to actual tank crew members. Just have a look at THIS ONE.
