Just in time for Christmas! It's yet another gorefest with piles of dead bodies and lots of firrrrrre!
After about 6 months of inactivity I decided to pick up on mapping again. S'pose I took a while to finish this one because it took soooooo many titan pieces.![]()
I guess I would call this a Beta (maybe even Alpha because of the lack of scar). All the strategic points, crit loc's, slags and relics are in place. Still need to do some cosmetic work around the starting locations and maybe tweak the hieghtmap some more.
Now as for the .scar coding I, you may notice all the little dots in the overhead to the right and left of the bridge. Basically as the half-assed fluff I have so far goes, the bridge is a barrier-protected wormhole through a particularly nasty part of the warp. And the stairways on either side are simply a doorway into the warp. The doorways have malfunctioned and are left wide open. And the wormhole has glitches (the lightning arc spots, similar to the idea I used on my island in the Community Map) that, if crossed teleport you into the pit with all the little nasties. I plan on .scar coding the map so that if you capture the crit loc in the middle of the bridge you have faction with the daemons in the pit and the don't attack you. Otherwise good luck getting the Relics down there. No seriously, it won't happen, there are 3 Daemon Princes on each side.![]()

hint, hint, jab, jab. I'm working on that right now. Due to the massive amount of hieght-editing of the objects I had to start a completely new version for the Nightshift.




I'll give it a spin when I get back from the holidays.
