    Cant connect online

iv searched everywhere with someone else having this problem but cant seem to find any solutions. I cannot update over relic online, i had to download all the patches off a website and i still can't connect online.

I have forwarded all 3 of the ports on my router (WRT54G). i have connected directly to the modem and still have not been able to connect to relic online. QoS is disabled, I have no firewalls running, no anti-spyware, no virus scanners,

Here is my winstun info as well.

Nat with Independend Mapping and Port Dependent Filter - VoIP will work with STUN
    Preserves port number
Does not supports hairpin of media
    Public IP address: 75.71.162.87

i know that there was something mentioning NAT but i don't recall what about it.

any help would greatly be appreciated.

    Thanks

Did you modify your HOSTS file and enter 127.0.0.1 for cohlive.quazal.net ?

What do you get if you ping cohlive.quazal.net? tracert cohlive.quazal.net?

I have a similar problem but I do not have an account yet when I start game it validates media and sends me directly to menu where campaigns are in the top right corner I can click sign in and it prompts me saying it will try to connect to relic online. Then it tries to connect to relic online but fails do to do so after alittle while.

I have no routers nothing blocking my connection at all according to winstun. I have modified the hosts file so that it looks like this:

    127.0.0.1 cohlive-1.quazal.net
    127.0.0.1 cohlive.quazal.net

    but this did nothing.

All my firewalls are turned off. Originally I bought the first company of heroes but after it failed I decided I would buy expansion on steam and try to play just with that but it had the same problem. I am unable to connect to Relic online servers to create an account. Any help would be greatly apreciated.

igloo, you need to REMOVE those lines from the hosts file, not add them.

In your post I thought you said enter them for cohlive so I did but they were already there so I just ignored it. Oh well it works now!

Hmm, my hosts file looked fine - those lines weren't there.
Still having the problem - the game minimises and validates media, then when i maximise it again it tries to connect to relic online but fails do to do so after a little while.
I've forwarded the ports on my router, all firewalls are off...

any ideas? the wierd thing is that this kind of happened overnight :s

    here's my winstun log:

Nat with Independend Mapping and Port Dependent Filter - VoIP will work with STUN
    Preserves port number
Does not supports hairpin of media
    Public IP address: 92.235.150.32

Would be nice if you would create a new thread and post the requested files from the stickies, also you could run a test with port forward tester on ports 6112, 30260 and 9100 .
