Point capture glitch?

i was playing a 2v2 today against 2 british people and a strange glitch apeard that wouldnt let my ally capture a point that in the end cost us the game, their wasnt any thing inside the territory but a bofors, we would run up to the point but a circle with a line through the side would appear, if needed i can post a replay and a screen shot

i dont think so, i honestly think they cheated because it was already captured by them

I bet it was scorched earth.

They have to at least make the point neutral or their own point then it gets blown up and you get the disable icon (circle with line through it) if you try to cap it. You have to bring an engy or sapper squad to the point, repair it, then cap it.
