the green stuff on the stomach seems a bit excessive here, you loose alot of detail, also a small point, but plasma gunners don't get true grit, so technically they shouldn't be carrying a chainsword, but i understand if you're trying to maintain consistancy. lookin' good nontheless

reminds me i need to crack out some green stuff too. how hard was it to make the changes you have with green stuff?

The best way to learn to do nurgle conversions is Svartmetall's tutorial

Wasn't hard at all actually you just have to go slow and take your time.
as far as detail goes you can't see it in that pic but there are little crack lines on the chest.

WIP pics of the DP that goes with this army. Is it me or does he look like hes ahem "developmentally delayed"

How should I do a representation of wings on the DP? I'm torn between a Giant ragged cloak like the ones Synapse did on his True scale Pre-heresy World eaters, or a DP scale Organicish Jump pack looking thing.

And does anyone have any opinions as to what IG regiment the guy on the DPs base should be from?

tattered wings would be cool, cloaks sem a bit too fancy for deseased servants of nurgle, and would probably rot away too quickly

Nice work. With the face it's got, a lot of people seem to make the DP of Nurgle look cartoony, but you've managed to avoid that; well done .

Hehe aye, most of the DPs of Nurgle look like their Daemonic Mount should be a little yellow bus...bright colours on that model look awful, I really like how you've done yours. He looks properly Nurgly and suppurating...

Well...there was a lot of Plague Marine action in the Agripinaa Sector in the Thirteenth Crusade (I described my warband 'Pandemic' as having fought there), you could use one of whatever IG regiments were there...?

I had so much fun converting and painting these guys that I'm planning to expand em to a full 2.5k list (heh)

to do that I'm going to be adding another PM squad, a Defiler, and a squad of nurgle bikers.

anyways, do Nurgles really use bikes? I thought they were slow movers.
hehe, those zombie heads look scary, and can't wait to see a defiler, I love defilers.

You should reposition the scyth arm on the Typhus, maybe put it back. That doesn't seem like a natural position for someone (something) to be walking in.

Keep the left arm the way it is, but rotate the hand (as you look at the model) about 80 degrees anticlockwise...speaking as someone who's used a six-foot axe for many years in live roleplay, you never keep the long haft of a two-handed weapon in front of your legs to trip over as you walk. Still, looks promising; can't wait to see how that Defiler turns out.

OK, the GS wrapped around the scythe's haft is good, but it still needs to rotate around 90 degrees as you look at the model. The battle damage on the Defiler is very nicely done, though.

I don't mean to throw the thread off topic, but
speaking as someone who's used a six-foot axe for many years in live roleplay
    You got photos Svart?

Anyway, I really like your battle damage on the Defiler, the axe stuck in it is a nice touch lol. Your GS work is pretty schnazzy too, good work!

Looking nice, btw, Galorn...but I really think you need to change the scythe's position, it just looks wrong. Very nice battle damage, though.

Nice I've only heard good things about European LARP's (aside from the trueism that there are always some assholes) I've only been to a few relatively small LARPS here in the states (biggest was 40PCs and about 15-20 NPCs)

Trying to find my jaw after it dropped off when i saw Galorn2's and Svartmetall's Plague Marines. And recuperating from a bolter round which Ap0k shot me with.
Coincidence, the day you posted this thread i started vomiting a lot, green vomit, extreme flatulence, and i still have a cold.

Very good models, i wish i was half as good as you

I started over the top in modeling, getting two battle forces (!) in one month, and now both my GW glues are jammed, paint is dried up (Don't blame me, blame the fact that i was painting and a certain little baby opened them, and never closed them.)

Anyway, will you ever "Apocalypticize" your army? As you seem to be very good with green stuff (Ah, the good old pus and bile tutorial on GW ) And i'm confident you could easily make a plaguespitter! (Baneblade conversion, go to the Apocalypse section on the GW site.)

Anyway, i hope you finish your army, because it's looking awesome.
