Not only are there tank traps, there are also pieces of twisted metal and lots of towers. I also have an affinity to twisted rocks and fire, which a nice twisted skyline which will be a trademark of some future works im urrently working on.
Thanks for all your support everyone. The seeds of the Imperium are sown with the blood of martyrs, as the the will of the modding community is fed with the 'ooooos' and 'aaaaaas', of a great fanbase.

This is just a way to show that the Imperial Fists are in, I don't intend to show anyone the WiP of models until they are 100% finished.
Its essentially a teaser thread. When I deem it nessecary, I will show shots. For now, wait.

so, will the primarchs be in teh mod, and if so, wherwe re you getting your inspiration from? i like the pics in HH: collected visions of perturablo, and i believe someone did a very cool TT conversion of Dorn (among others) on ratemyminitures.com or a site like it

More than any conversion, there's the sketch done by John Blanche that counts as canon, probably and the old illustration of Dorn too in the rulebook from Space Marine 1st Ed. which predates it by far.

It doesn't. There are 7 diamonds around it, but no 8-pointed star.

I've finished my second map for the IW/IF Mod. And let me assue you, you will be cursing my name when you play them. On easy comps [Skirmish AI] (mind you, I can drop 3 fully upgraded Tactical squads and termies in 5:05 minutes in Dark Crusade on QS) it took me 27 mins on my newly completed map. The other one divuldged into a 34 min slug fest from one trench to another until I could sneak a probe into the other end. Tangent off heh.
...It has a lovely loading screen bearing an arch with dead hanging Imperial officers and bloody statues of chaos towering over the land.
On another note, my internet provider found out I was switching services and decided to cut off my service 4 days early, along with my phone lines (since they provided both) Least to say I will not have a stable net till saturday, when the new people come to install all the new gear. I do have a very nice neighborly connection providing me a wonderful 350 bytes/sec connection tho.
GAAAAAH!!!! Can't wait, i really like the way this is being presented by slowly but surely releasing the information about the mod. The suspense is killing me though. Keep it up.
