Dark Angels 1500pts - Emperor Protect!

I have been trying to tailor my force for a big local tournie that is looming in the next few weeks. I feel I may have a chance of taking this one though are looking for comments and criticisms of my current list.

HQ

Master + power weapon + jump pack [135pts]

ELITES

Veteran squad + power fist + plasma gun + rhino [175pts]

Scouts + heavy bolter [95pts]

TROOPS

Tactical squad + 5 marines + lascannon + plasma gun + power fist + rhino [260pts]

I would drop the scouts and spend their points increasing to 8 vets and adding a couple of power weapons to that squad. Running them at 5 men you won't see them doing too much before they got shot to pieces. Maybe throw a combat shield on the PF veteran or grab some meltabombs with your last 5 points.

You're going a bit more plasma heavy than I like to do with combat squads (sizes are already small, so I don't like helping my opponent kill them off), but you have a great mix of firepower and bodies.

I might also like to swap the master for a chaplain and use those points to grab pintle mounted storm bolters for the predators, but it's not necessary if you expect to be making lots of target priority or morale tests.

You have 41 models, not 46. And I agree on the chaplain and pintle-mounted storm bolters. That would leave you with enough for a meltabomb for the chaplain.

The heavy support is good, though I would be tempted to find the points to go all missile launchers, considering the two predators.

I don't see the point of the plasma gun on the veterans. I'd much prefer a power weapon. Or at least a plasma pistol if you're that intent on it. But a PW, preferably.
