Three weird Ork bugs:
1: I had Gretchin simply refuse to build. I had about 3 groups clustered around a Mek Shop and only two would actively work on it, the third just standing there regardless of how many times I clicked on them to build.
2: My entire army stopped fighting as soon as I reached a DE base and was going for the coup de gras. They simply stopped attacking and no amount of orders would make them start again.
3: Stormboyz on the hold ground stance defend themselves against ranged attacks with ranged attacks. For example, if a group of marines starts shotting them, they just fire back with their crappy little pistols instead of getting stuck in hand to hand. I don't know if this is a glitch, but they're in the hold ground stance and the hand to hand stance also so it seems a bit weird.
I also noticed the weird Warboss staring at the sky thing but thought it was funny.
i've noticed that if you move any units of any race away from injury that 90% of the time, you must purposely retarget them, even if they're recieving damage from the units they're supposed to automatically detect and shoot back at. i wonder if this is supposed to be some sort of a (lame) counter to dancing by making it more difficult. it's the only explanation i can think of :/ this, of course, is a bug that did not exist in any form on dow 1.0, but that's neither here nor there.Originally Posted by DeadlyFred

also, an ork gameplay mechanic that HAS to be a bug: the fighta bomma does NOT fly over all terrain. on kaurav city for instance, it can not simply fly over the walls surrounding the high area with the slags. very annoying and makes this irritating to use unit (slow reload + misses a LOT + does not listen to firing orders + shootas that very rarely fire + high power and pop cost + fragility + slow for a flying unit that's painted red = why the hell am i building this worthless unit because using it is NOT FUN) even more worthless.
ps: some fliers are way too small and -on top of everything else- i've actually lost track of the fighta bommas location many times. seriously, that unit ought to be the coolest thing in the ork's arsenal and instead, it's so ill concieved that it's near worthless and pisses me the hell off instead.

it only happened to me once, but when i was playing against the SoB in the first planet where IG starts (i'm IG, and i think the map was kaurav city), i entrenched a heavy weapons team near a strategic point (the one just outside the starting point of my base.. It was pretty crowded there because i sent my whole army to guard the point. WHat happens then is as the heavy weapons team entrenched, it move backward as if it was walking backward but it was entrenched.. It's not just the graphics.. THen i technically have a mobile heavy weapons team entrenched.. WOw.. That saves a lot of time and micro not having to entrench, but it's a glitch.. i could actually move and control an entrenced heavy weapons team.. (think mobile entrenched broadside battlesuits..)
I think this is not an isolated case, though i have experienced possible problems with the Necron Lord. First, if he transforms into nightbringer mode, he does not receive any more damage. It's like he's invulnerable.. Never have i played a game that when my necron lord goes into nightbringer mode that he receives damage.. I mean i know that nightbringer is vampiric, lifesteal and all that.. But really, it is invulnerable.
Second, sometimes against anything with missiles such as missile turrets, hellfire dreadnoughts, and the like, when my necron lord gets hit while it is moving, it would be knocked down, then, while still in knowckdown state, it slides toward the direction the missile was fired.
Third, i heard about an issue that the deceiver allegedly automatically converts units it attacks by some chance, aside from the squad it is able to use it's deceive skill on? Can someone verify this? and does the deceive skill really only works around squads the deceiver is adjacent to, or is it a target skill where you have to click deceive then choose a squad to deceive? because apparently, my deceiver can only deceive units that are near it..
Fourth, i'm not sure if this is a glitch or it's intended, and i think this goes for all commanders.. If you are able to acquire a wargear that increases melee or ranged damage, do the stats show in the stat bar when playing? It shows in the wargear box that damages have increased. Though it doesn't seem to modify the damage per second (dps) values in the unit stat bar. my necron lord has ranged damage of around 210, but the ingame, inbattle stat bar only shows it averages 60+ to 90+ damage, which is the same damage statistics it started with..
Fifth.. when veil of darkness is compromised by a scout unit (eg, cultists, pathfinders, scarabs), sometimes even after the scouts were killed, the veil of darkness won't come back until you go quite a far distance from where the scouts saw the necron lord. though i can't be sure that this is because a turret or another scout sees me, but i don't think so..
the ai by the way, does not seem to intelligently use the soulstorm ability.. and does corrosion affect necron units? (they are made out of metal..) also, it seems the ai indiscriminately summons bloodthirster even if just faced with a squad of slugga boyz.. i would love to see a slugga boyz bloodthirster massacre, but it's not really economical.. and are wraith spams really part of necron ai strategy? ai dais of destruction also does not seem to use dark scythe ability.
furthermore, it is not cool to see a whole army of ai space marines standing beside an eldar listening post and a webway gate with stealth turned on for a whole 30 minutes.. and im not sure as i have never experienced this before, but do the eldar really have 30 as a squad and vehicle cap? it seems to happen once i have two eldar HQ's and i build a lot of webway gates.. it sure is handy to have wraithlords being spammed.. oh, and why is the possessed chaos marine's speed so insanely fast when you siege the chaos stronghold in the campaign? it's not the normal possessed marine speed i encounter, it's something like twice normal..

I have noticed a few bugs myself which other people ahve aswell. Firstly i would like to point out i actualy registered just to post on this fourm and vent.
Secondly, My Comanders stats (as said above) Doesnt change when you buy wargear etc. Another one that i have found is that if you conquere the space marines stronghold as orks, and try to use the deep strike ability with slugga, shoot and Wartraks all at once, then the sluggas just dissapear. dont spawn and cost you almost 800 resources.
I have also seen the warboss running with his head in the air, that made me laugh. I also have seen the air unit glitch, if you try to fly over the middle in Into the Breach then it seriously doesnt work. I have also noticed that the fighta bomber just rnadomly targets its own things.
What else annoys me..
ooh yes, i have noticed that if you click a unit to attack something that is say on the otehr side of the map, then they will take 5 steps and then stop. justn ot move at all even tho the squad i have targeted is still engaged/ in my line of sight.
I have also noticed the units that jsut randomly stop and not fight back etc. Also why does the psycic storm ability of the farseer do like a minute bit of damage to necrons? Also i think i have to agree that for multiplayer games the AI is worse than other DOW games. I mean common, playing DC or WA the AI on insane just massed units and slaughtered, this map they just all concentrate on capturing anything they can, you see the entire army just standing around one Stratigic point.
Again some of the SoB units are crappy. I mean the Living sait for one, too under powered but she is buggy by the fact you can make her fly, then 10 mins later she can still be standing there...
i think that is all for now.. ill add more as i find them..
also i have to click menu twice, but when i changed pc (got a new one) I still have to but atleast it loads a little quicker.
Similar to the ork warboss animations, the tau broadside suit has his arms covering his "face" when he moves.
A glitch I've encountered is the Eldar AI are able to build the support portal without first building the Soulshrine. Also, in the map Panel Colony I think it is (I forgot but it's a big yellow map with squares where each player is located) parts of the squads get stuck on the sides and edges when moving from place to place. This happened to me while playing online a few times.
Playing as SM I noticed that my Tempest fliers have pathing problems near my moving Dreadnaughts. It seems to be checking collision boxes erroneously.
In the SS campaign menu where you select your race commander, Gorgutz is standing slightly off-to-the-left of the center of the screen. All of the other commanders are positioned exactly in the middle of the screen.

I'm still getting the SoB custom badges and banners glitch. I tried the quick fix mentioned here thrice but to no avail. Also did a search. Advice please? Thanks in advance, as always.
