I would very much like to see especially the assault marines and dreadnoughts. I realize that it's early but I would definetely like to see both the commander units in action too!
Seeing as the video section is currently empty I thought it would be good to get some community feedback pertaining to what was in high demand as eye candy. What are some requests that the rest of the community might have for the videos section of dawnofwar2.com?

Eye candy videos are always nice, but I would also like to see some actual gameplay videos, UI and all. Also, a walkthrough of new features would be nice, but I doubt that will come any time soon.

I want to see a race going through its paces, much like Starcraft 2's video showing off most new units and abilities, as well as seeing the older ones. That would be the ultimate video in terms of popularity and awesomeness factor.
yea like they did with starcraft2 when they first announced it in korea, even though a lot has changed in the game since then it was still nice

I'd be satisfied for a video with the Orks (particularily Warboss) kicking the snot out of those pesky red-painted smurfs, all the way up to smashing that Force Commander into submission. Orks need some lovin' and it would be a great opportunity to show off the commander vs commander combat/animations.
Given what they've got already it seems like it could be feasibly done fairly soon.

Video showcasing Eldar in Dawn of War 2
Gameplay videos - show us how units move, how to build a base, how to capture points... Show us Ork Grot on buildings xD

There was a limited edition DVD that came with Command and Conquer 3 when you pre-ordered. It showed some game play but also went through some nice tips and tricks for units that were in the game.
Videos like the SC2 videos, explaining the races with commentaries.
A few more teasers just to get my heart racing, but then some actual gameplay vids. Preferably very gorey, if you have the time Relic.
I doubt that we're going to get any proper gameplay videos until about six months in at least.
Before that I'd like to see more in-engine video teasers, e.g one showing a skirmish between a squad of SM and shootas behind cover.
Either that or a campaign teaser - something cinematicly showing clips of the game while having a voice over hinting at the story behind what's happening.
maybe more of the same kind of teasers as the one on the main page?

What I want is to see Assault Marines jumping into a bunch of Orks. I'm not asking for much. I'm a Chaos man at heart, but let's not beat around the bush, nothing screams 40k like the Emperor's wrath with jump packs and chainswords.

I doubt you'll even see the guard in DoW2. Well, they will not be playable.

I'd like to see just an army unit walkthrough where we see each unit and it's various attacks, kinda like how Blizzard did the intro's to all 3 of SC2's races. I'd also like to see an ingame display of the new unit cap system so that we can get a clearer understanding of how it will work. The translation from the Belgium mag left much to be desired.
Cadian mechanized charge with Chimeras and Leman Russes against the enemies of the imperium. Enemy relic units taken down by sheer firepower (Leman Russ squadron shooting squiggoth or Greater demon between the eyes and blowing living bejesus out of them).
video of 300 but with marines and orks as persians except now there only 30 marines... no make that 3 marines and the marines win not the orks.
No but seriously I would like lots of videos released from now until its released in a perfect world a video a week (i know that the latter is never gonna happen) to keep me tanterlized, not that I wouldn't be on the edge of my seat if they did't release anything else until it comes out.

just a glimps of gameplay would be fine... or a quick pan threw a map so you get a feel how the maps will look.
Videos showing some models (from other races different from Orks and Space Marines, once they are revealed...), some gameplay (no need to be perfect, we will leave that for the released game),... Things that satisfy our thirst for information and at the same time can generate feedback useful for Relic.

Wait for the previews man. They is always more information from text than videos, and the videos you just watch to see the eyecandy :PAlso, a walkthrough of new features would be nice, but I doubt that will come any time soon.

A bunch of Adeptas Astartes swilling down some beer after a hard fight, on some of those boxes in the screens. Then one gets up and says "After a hard day's fighting Greenskins I go for the Emperor's Finest, Aquila Light. Refreshing, yet tasty."
A stikbomb lands near him, the first speaker jumps on it and get's blown up. The rest of the Marines stand and shoot at the attacker's while one continues with no pause to the speech "...and it won't slow you down!"

Even Chaos Space Marines think Kittens are Cute. There are limits to how evil you can be...
A video showing Essence engine properties, for example:
a video where a SM pod falls on the head of a squad of orks and bash them.
moar vids in general.
Maybe a big defence thing with SM killing off masses of greenskins using gameplay and the camera function much like CoH ^^
Since they're working on it since 2006, they should be able to show some video or at least give us some screenshots (2-3) each weeks to keep the hype up.

Hell just give us a video preview talk through. Where you show us 10 mins of new stuff you done to the engine and some on orks and sm. While explaning in great detail that way you can show off the engine and show of alittle gameplay and get us into a excitment com ma.
