It has been quite a while ago ( 14 pages ) since i last posted here, but here are some new screenshots

Figured I'd post these two here. One of them could definitely be classified as a motivational; however, I wanted to keep both of them in the same place and in that way they're going here. Despite, motivational's full of crap these days.
Not too sure how well this turned out; didn't quite think I got the font right on the first one, and then when I scouted Google/Youtube for a reference to the Snickers ad in question, I found no mention of it. So I started wondering where it actually had aired and whether 90% of anyone would get the reference. Anyway, I found a small poster, that might indicate it's been somewhere apart from here.
Second one turned out a little blurry but I'm afraid Photobucket pissed it all up by blurrying it a little more. Oh well.
Kudos to MartinBoy or whatever his name was; he gave me my two minutes to get the letters right. An apologetic bow to WittmansTiger for wasting his time.

draje175: so, its imbalanced that a 5cp, 150 mun, never-use-again-cooldown ability can severly hurt turtling, which, even if your british, is a very bad idea?

Dumb question but... how the hell do you take screenshots.. Before it was Print Screen button, everytime I pressed it a picture was saved in CoH folder in my documents.
Nothing happens when I press printscreen now.. Dunno why, it's the new version of CoH 2.301 maybe?
Course it's fake lol, :P, I made a smurf called lindsageb and moved the b around, after copypasting his rank insignia. ^^ The match I originally got the loading screen from tho turned out very well indeed, a pretty win and another confirmation that my new strat works wonders.

Try pressing Alt+PrtScn. I had the same problem some time ago.

Guys, if you were wondering, it's possible to remove the HUD.
Open console, and type taskbar_hide.
(I think console was control + shift + tilde <~>)
However as far as I know it's not possible to remove teh HUD from replay which is a major bummer.

Quite true, but you get an option on the taskbar to remove most of it.
I think I recall hearing about a console command to remove on screen messages too, anyone able to help out with that one?

They're meant to be used in skirmish. Believe me, you'll start entering those commands like a robot once you get used to them. Kind of annoying but they reap rewards...great pics/vidz.
Well in skirmish, when in the heat of battle. You don't have much time to take nice screenshots.
but what about a way to get rid of thatblue red thing when your units are behind something ?
taskbar_hide also removes the blue things when units are behind something, at least it does for me.

Infantry_sir, trying taking off the taskbar and messages to maximise the looks of your pics in my opinion. If you like them like that however, who am I to change you mind?

HUD = Heads Up Display, or in RTS speak, Taskbar.
Just go read the bottom-half of Pg. 15 if you're wondering about other commands and how to re-enable them.

You get fat Americans too. That Praporshik that you meet on the Russian campaign is fat too. There is only two German soldier models that I would call fat on CoD2, McGregor, the British Private that follows you and Captain Price around in the British 7th Armoured campaign is a little chubby. The rest of the Tommies look like Lord Lovat.
The Russians either have beards or look like 12 year olds, and the Germans mostly consist of Fatty, Mustache, and SS Officer.
Don't have any good pics right now. I could probably take a screenshot of a KT gunner flying into the screen from a replay.
hey i am trying to take some good screenshots but i can't seem to make the unit icons to disappear. I have tried using the console commands taskbar_hide, message_hide, and misc_superscreenshot but they seem to have no effect. help?
Are you doing so during replay or the skirmish? It doesn't work during replay.

Nah, I use Irfanview as my image program and it has a few very very basic editing functions. Adding 'drops' to the screen is one. I also tend to do one or two clicks of blurring as I don't run super AA on my rig.
sky line pete where can I download that program from?
