    @Celéstial use the old RGM's for Panther from Normandy or BotB mod , these did not have the rolevariation army so it is much better using these for achieving your CoCkoo
    @Widowmaker1 that kind of pictures I need mate for making M4A3 and Sherman Firefly on German Hands any link for these??

    Thanks Georider, that worked. I also had a little trouble with the turret MG42, but that was easy to fix.

    Widowmaker, i'd sure love a Sherman in german markings. Cross of Iron mod has one, and while Georider did do a skin for me, variety is always welcome. Plus i'm sure my mod isn't the only one with a Sherman tank in german hands.

    Widow, I'm not sure whether it's realistic, but have you tried turning the canvas turret cover of the sdkfz 234 into cage armor? Like several skinners did with the P4 skirts.

    The 'mesh' was used on Armoured cars like the Puma/222 on the top to stop grenades being lobed into them. I believe Geo has done it. At the moment i haven't made any 234 skins so...I might do in the future

    I made it on 234 but I can;t do it for Puma! Also I have made the "Beaute Panzer" Sherman 75 for LD but I think I will remade it after your pictures. I leave the Firefly to you !!!! .

    Celestial@ Yeah that's true it'll be replaced with the pio one...it's still a whip, only the main uniform is actually done done . in fact nothing else is anywhere close to final..model mix or anything else

    Wehrmacht Skin pack. This is designed to replace all the standard skins for this faction. I recommend using it as a whole skin pack due to the 'dirty nature' of the skins for a more uniform look. It's pretty straight forward skin replacement that only changes the art files. I'd also like to thank Georider for his help with this.

    Those airborne are amazing! I really love them. But they are all Lieutenant? Maby Better to make the stripe vertical and add a Sergeant rank to the sleeves? Or all different skins maby . Anyway, awesome work once again!

    I thought the line at the back of the helmet was for night recognision, make sure your own people won't shoot you in the back! Didn't think it was rank insignia LOL! Bahh....no matter I'll change it to camo net

    Nope, the helmets had this vertical stripe on the back to indicate officers (Lieutenant to Colonel, and some generals had it too). NCO's (all sergeants) had a horizontal stripe.


    By the way Widowmaker1, is the Grenadier skin with the splinter camo also in the pack? (the one you posted in post #488).

    It's not exactly the same camo, I changed it considerably from that pic...in truth I'm considering a re-vamped version of it

    The white line was removed anyways...

    I never liked seeing the back pack, which is for the parashute, while the troops are fighting on the ground.
    Never saw them in Band of Brothers or other pics I've seen really...they'd have them if they're on the march...maybe...but not when going into combat.
    I think they kept them on the models to make them more 'distictive' from the Riflemen...but I'm not bothered about that

    Love the wher skins too however some of them looked a bit green/grainy, i thought that the uniforms were greyish.

    Well, first off the weapons have nothing to do with the skins. I just like them more than the carbines so I've changed them for a private mod.

    As for the WH skins, yes they are greener than most skins out there because I chose that tone for my skins style which I like more. Also there where many different uniform colour variations and this is one of them.

    They've been made more 'grainy' than they should...on purpose. The reason being that I believe it makes them look quite good from 'close viewing' range as well as 'gaming rang'e...at the cost of 'very close up' where the 'grain' is more visible than it should.
    When you're playing...even friendly/non competitive matches you're never going to go 'dead close up' hence why I think it adds better value to the 'normal' gaming experience. But that's my view anyways when I made them and..I did make them primarily for my self lol

    About the bagpacks:

    They were used for a reserve chute, and some soldiers dropped the bag after landing, while others just dumped the reserve chute and took the bag to carry their ammo and other stuff with it. They also had this famous "Leg bag" which they had to put they stuff in because their bagpack was full. So after they hit the ground they could put their dump the chute and put their stuff in the bagpack.
    In the later state of the war, when they had command posts and could be supplied most of the soldiers dropped the bag at their barracks. But not in D-Day and some days after D-Day. As I have seen Band of Brothers alot of times (all 10...), I know quite well what they had, and in the first 3 you see the bagpack very often! I also know alot of History and equipment...

    About the skin:

    I really love your attention for detail on the infantry skins! All equipment is very good detailed, which I really like. Keep on making awesome work!

    I rather like your WH skins. And I understand your theories for making them look like that. Your take on the zoom levels that are mostly used, is absolutely correct.

    I have downloaded the pack, and will put them in a newly created private mod as soon as I can. I am very eager to see how they look in-game.

    Well done - they look great - and the detail is excellent. And I really love those new WIP Pathfinders. The net cover on the helmets is a real winner.

    And for the record, I second your preference for the paras carrying Garands. I also love backpacks.....but hey...the're your skins, and you make them how you want. We appreciate all your great efforts.

    After trying the WH skins a bit more on different maps(and after some feedback)...it would appear that they look alot 'darker' and 'greener' than I originally intended in many occasions.

    Therefore I will be fixing them for a re-release in the weekend, sorry about that folks

    Hmmm, that doesn't sound right...I've tested and re-tested it and they appear fine on mine...
    Have you...messed around with the ABPs at all? Changed files? Conflicting files with other mod?
    The skin pack includes 5 ABPs one of which is Vehicle crew and the RGMs are all there.

    As for more US skins...well...I don't know to be honest...I don't really have a plan at the moment...

    Well, I have installed and played a game with your skin pack. And I have to say that your skins tick all the boxes for me. They are very effective in both providing some very nice detail, and in subtly making the model stand out in-game (at normal playing zoom levels).

    I've seen your comment on them looking too green. They do look quite acceptable to me. But then I suffer from a percentage of colour blindness. But the current colouring looks quite effective. The Knights Cross Holders are now believable in a role as elite commandos. Very good job with them. I just love all of them, and think they are very effective.

    And thanks for the new look pathfinders (with the backpack). They now look very battleworthy. They actually look good in both versions. But I personally prefer the backpack version. An airborne engineer would be a very nice touch.

    I do agree with Celestial, a similar themed rifleman, and ranger, would be excellent. But again, they are your creations - and you decide what you want to create - or don't want to create.

    I believe you have hit on a very nice overall theme for your infantry - keep up the great work. I for one, appreciate it a lot.

    Oh...and almost forgot....I have the same problem as pojarma and red devil. Missing RGMs when I upgrade my buildings with MG gunners, when I produce an armoured vehicle with visible tank crew. And one extra problem - the luftwaffe ground troops squad are all pink models.

    I don't know if it would have an effect, but I have the HSM skin pack installed as my vanilla skins. But I have created a full mod to use your skins with. So they shoud copy straight over the top of the HSM skins (which only replace the vanilla skins anyway).

    I haven't messed with any of the files from your skin pack, and im fairly sure that i haven't got a skin pack that it could conflict with, i think i've only got vehicle skin packs installed as i had to start all over again.

    Re the pink models I am getting for the luftwaffe ground troops.

    I am certainly no expert, but the nearest I can figure is that the your luftwaffe.abp is not referencing a texture file (rgt), and the files it is referencing (axis volksgrenadier body and equipment) from your skins, are conflicting with the vanilla luftwaffe texture files.

    I could be wrong, and most probably am. But it is the conclusion I came to. I think the building MG gunner, and the tank crews, are a separate conflict issue.

    I noticed u have abp files named mg gunner 3 and such they point to a folder called wehrmacht 2 and wehrmacht 3 those folders weren't included in ur pack...

    The Tankcrew RGM box appears because the abp points to the headphones in the commonwealth folder which isn't contained.

    Just delete this line to fix it.
