Awesome skins Widowmaker1, just a quick question , i have a bug (at least i THINK its a bug) that occurs as the blue panic box with all the guys who use MG42s on tanks,Vehicle personnel and building mg42 personnel that aren't grenadiers .i can include screen shots if requested to show all the units afflicted
You need to open the vehiclecrew abp file and remove the line:"..\\..\\Commonwealth\\Soldiers\\axis_hp\\Tanker",
It's for the headphones...i really need to add a hotfix for that lol

Again awesome skins Widowmaker..it will be replacing one of my current stug skins when released.
One follow-up question and suggestion although not a request - as I know you don't do requests.
Why another stug and halftrack? There are heaps of very good stug, halftrack, hetzer, Panzer 4, Panther, Tiger 1 and 2 skins on these threads. But the poor old Hummel, Flak 88, Flakvierling 38, Ostwind, Wirbelwind, Geschutswagen, nebelwerfer, etc seem to get forgotten about with very few made for them. How about showing these vehicles your excellent skinning attention, rather than another Stug or another halftrack skin.
Just an observation from a player that has a couple of good stug skins in action but isn't entirely happy with some of the others.

Well there are two reasons you see.
1) You may be fully satisfied with the Stug/Halftrack/P4 skins available but....I'm not. On the other hand I'm fully happy with Hummel, Flak 88, Flakvierling 38, Ostwind, Wirbelwind, nebelwerfer that I'm using. Skin satisfaction is a totally subjective matter for each individual.
2) Regardless of availability, if there are skins that I want to make, I go ahead and make them. It has never really been my intention to 'look what the community is happy with' and then fill in any 'gaps'.
I make these skins for myself and then most of them available to the community so people can use em if they like em.

The Halftrack skin reminds me of the old skin Halftrack made, I like it.
Nice job on the SdKfz 251 Halftrack and the StuG there, Widow! Are you planning on doing a similar scheme for the SdKfz 250 as well? Not a request - just curious is all

I love the look of the german halftracks and I have a couple of camos want to make for them.
For SdKfz 250 I'll no doubt try as I've never made one before. This is partly because Geo's haltracks are so cool and they're the ones I use lol.
The stug gunner isn't mine no. Mine was 'field grey'. For skin testing ingame I use a mod that has so many random skins by now it's unreal!

Like the new brown theme you have started with, they are all looking great
agreed. they look some kinda old school style. Very nice.
i tired everything but i couldnt install "mg crew" like you used On panzerIV zimmerit. everytime i tried (included mods tigercrew) always grenadiers are placed in top of my pz4..why this happens?
If you install the WH pack over a fresh Art sga(and remember to open up the vehiclecrew abp file and remove the line:"..\\..\\Commonwealth\\Soldiers\\axis_hp\\Tanker", you will have no problem.
The reason you get grens on them at the moment is because you're missing the correct ABP/rgm files for the tank crew

i tried.. and nothing changed. i removed the line but this time it said "missing rpm". and green cube on my panzers.. what should i do?
Have you actually re-installed this over a clean Art.sga with the ABP line fixed? There is no reason why it wouldn't work as the rest of the files are complete, so i don't know what you're doing wrong
i changed the folder name to "vehiclecrew" and changed all files names of tiger_crew to "vehiclecrew". didint use any line in the names. and also in abp file.
The vehicles look freakin ace Widow! Here to hoping you'll do a few more axis vehicles!

If camo lines look nice, I don't see a reason why I 'must' change them.As as long as they look nice that's all that really matters to me.
Some times you can do shit loads to a skin with dirt and shading via layers and the end result may look 'technically nice' but just not look/feel 'right'. You can end up totally screwing up the camo. All you really see is scratches, wet mud patches and shadows.
Ultimately everyone is entitled to their own skinning style which,like taste, is a subjective matter...

As long as the skin looks good... So what? People have different things they want to accomplish with their work. There a lot of the retro-loving people here who I am sure would love a revamp of classic schemes. The only thing that matters is that people have fun doing it, and that it enhances the experience for those of us lucky enough able to use it

Will it appease you if I say that I really really LOVE your vehicle skins, I think they're 'right' and awesome. They exceed everything posted here by others.
I know that the amount of admiration you were given for your work on 'HI-RES' infantry skins is not enough to please you, but let me add to this my own piece, maybe it will make you (and Geo as well) a little less frustrated men, who won't feel the need to argue on some internet forum about vehicle skins for a quite unpopular game, which about 50 ppl will download.

Like Widow already said everyone has it's own style, now think about this what if a panther tank crew panther there panther entirly Purple with Huge orange dots on it, than ure whole concept of Historical accuracy is gone. also a picture doesnt have to be accurate a picture can be faked and still look real. Than its Called Its photoshoped or tottaly unrealistic but thats all you can say about it because you never saw the picture before so you must say its real. lets take an example dinosaur can you say when a child paints a dinosaur purple the dinosaur is unrealistic, no you cant.
good job you've just learned that Histocal Accuray doesnt Excist, and that widow can paint over the relic stripes.
