    question about modtools

    1.Cant load the plugin with 3dsmax
    2.Cant open .lua file with FxTool.exe
    3.Cant open .ebp file with ObjectEditor.exe

    Are you using the SS tools that are converted from DC?

    3ds max 2008, 9 and 2009 has more up to date coding so wont work with the older Dow export script. use the latest script for max 9 with 2008 and max 9.

    for the object editor and FX editor, make sure you have set up the mod correctly and that anything you have made or changed follows the path system in place already.

    Horusheretic be sure to be more "specific" when you talk to people? This goes to anyone else...

    For an example of being more specific, heres the answer to your FX tool question (I had the same problem too! ).
