    corncobman: its just a figure of speech. I dont really waste 24 hours of my life to gaming LOL. It rarely happens anyways. So...any chances of u adding Great Unclean One? or any greater daemon for Chaos? or vanilla guard for IG? or the adeptus arbites for SOB?

    I'm not that into fluff or balance. As long as its fun I'm willing to dl a file that takes a week (figure of speech)

    Other Greater Daemons of Chaos will only be added when the models been done and allowed for use by the public. Same goes for the Arbites.

    HELP S.O.S!!! the files dont work i started the game as usual but it says that the mod cannot be started. What did i do wrong?

    oh and i use the 1.40 ver of ur mod.

    loving the new nightspinner, although there seems to be missing a missile art so it looks kind of funny when units are knocked back. And is it possible to remove the teleport/jump knockback effect for the bonesinger?

    For chaos, the sorceror's warpstorm ability when you target it is a pink question mark for me..

    These are all minor things though, this mod is pretty kickass!

    I am still undecided on what to do for the projectile for the Nightspinner. I need to spend some time creating some FX for it. It's totally transparent for the time being. Either it will be a big stream of things, like the Warp Spiders Death Spinners or it will be a big blob of things, like the...big...blob of things.

    You're probably right about the Bonesinger knockback. I just did every unit for consistency but either it will have to be toned down or removed.

    I'll fix the Chaos Warp Storm marker ASAP.

    is it possible to let chaos choose which god (diety) to follow during the start of the game? i mean they have to choose either nurgle, slaanesh, khrone, tzeentch or undivided. Each of these choices effects way of play, like if u follow nurgle u have stronger units and weaker vehicles. or khrone with awesome melee prowess. cause there's this mod (forgot the name) it allowed me to choose battle company or 1st company for sm. its a cool feature if u ask me =P

    The Marks built from the Sacrificial Circle already give you a choice of units tied to the specific Chaos God, and there are specific bonuses given by the particular Chaos Lord you choose.

    I dont know if it's just me but the hull Shurieken Cannon upgrade for Eldar vehicles once purchased the icon for the tank goes pink.
    Also you seem to have made the Turret Weapon upgrades into abilities like the Chaos Defiler? If so it doesn't seem to work, I clicked Brightlances for a Wave Serpent and instead 10 seconds later it became Missile Launchers. To ber fair I prefered them as upgrades.

    Yeah I made the upgrades into abilities, I did that because of the aiming issues with the turret that were mentioned. I prefer them as upgrades too but this way at least you can upgrade the turret as well as the hull mounted weapon. It seems that I swapped the Missile Launcher upgrade with the Brightlance upgrade. It will be fixed.

    @Profman - no, but if you choose the Mark of Khorne, Berserkers and Bloodletters become available and if you pick the Khorne Lord, nearby enemy units will suffer more damage in melee.

    The bolt of change icon is also pink and missing the art fx but you probably already know that. Maybe it could be like a single blue coloured doombolt and the icon for it is like the doombolt icon but blue instead of pink? =)

    Oh thats fair then. Good job on Eldar though I really like their content and how they play. Also just a suggesting but you could make Guardians perhaps more efficient by allowing them to have a Warlock and Weapon Platform but only allow one each so you don't get 2 platforms etc.

    I'm not sure that making it possible to add a Platform and a Warlock at the same time is a good idea. I think it would make them too powerful due to the Warlock's Conceal / squad damage bonuses. Also I think it would mean that they would outclass Dire Avengers. I'll think about it.

    @boblaffy - I wasn't aware of the Bolt of Change pink stuff. The icons will be blue, not sure about the effects, I haven't really used it much.

    Yes it is hard to place Dire Avengers in the scheme of things since they're very similiar to Guardians. Their addition is a nice touch though.

    I tried Tau and with the XV22 Commander the Shield Drone has a Shield ability unlike the rest of the Shield drones and is not constantly active, not sure if this was intentional? Secondly the Commander Drones have the campaign textures.

    Also I think although it's cool to be able to build as many Vespids as you like but they are kinda annoying T1 since you can use the ability thats throw back infantry, a few squads of them supported with Fire Warriors/ Commander is serious rape. Maybe change them to T2 and give Fire Warriors FotM or leave it cause I think Tau are powerful enough in T1 and give the commander solid detection instead? Just some ideas regarding balance there.

    Also this is just another personal distaste (sorry xD) but the Pathfinder Shas'ui is a FireWarrior, just doesn't suit.

    XV22 Shield Drone is intentional. Drone textures are also intentional, because I used the campaign drones model.

    Actually, Vespids are hard capped at 2 squads (or should be).

    Pathfinder Shas'ui I'll see if I can get the one from the Firestorm over Kronus mod.

    EDIT: I'm thinking of adding the Sniper Drone as a leader upgrade for the Drone Squad, what do you think about that?

    hmm does the sniper drone have a burrow/unburrow animation so that it conforms with the drone squad? If not, another option might be to make it buildable from the drone harbinger.

    Also, would it be possible to make the kroot shaper a sargeant unit for the kroot squad since I don't think it attaches to any other squad. The shadow for the kroot hound seems a little big to me.. And probably increase the squad cap cost to 3/squad.

    For the commander weapon upgrades, would it be possible to move them all to the barracks if you moved the stealth suit upgrade to the Path to Enlightenment and kroot squad to HQ?

    Shapers can attach to Knarloc Riders, Greater Knarlocs and Krootox. I think I'll make Kroot Hounds as a squad again, and add Shapers as leaders to both Hounds and Carnivores.

    The Commander upgrades have pretty much the same icons so it might look a bit strange. Is there anything wrong with where they are currently?

    Commander weapons are good where they are, just thought that they would be better in one place but I guess it's kind of hard to put them all in one building and also have them look distinct.

    Just noticed something weird with the Ork Armored Nobs, when there's just one left, the icon the the Power Surge turns pink for some reason. I don't think it affects gameplay in any way. The Lootas look awesome though.

    just thought I'd drop a few bugs, i just played as the DE and if my warriors upgrade the splinter cannon and the dark lance their models don't show up if i put them in the Raider thingy.

    That's not something I can fix. It's to do with the Raider model, which I don't know how to change.

    I still can't take a screenshot with my console open but when I play as SoB and build an imagifier, I notice the console keeps giving me a "combat_ext" error. Not anything that breaks gameplay but something funky.

    I think that's because the Imagifer doesn't have any weapons and therefore Iron Lore never bothered to put in a combat_ext for it. The squad on the other hand does have a combat_ext and is causing problems. I could try adding the combat_ext but not add any weapons.

    Sounds good, if that doesn't work it's no big deal because I doubt it can crash the game or anything haha.

    Hmm since the Commissar was moved to the barracks, would it be possible to put the colonel Brom unit from DoW1 into the HQ as a weak tier 1 attachable hero?

    hey, is it possible to give the CSM dreadnoughts? I've never found a mod (for ss) that gives Chaos the ability to requisition dreadnoughts. It would be a nice addition to your already awesome mod

    Last I heard Horus had a lot of work done on Greater Demons. I think he's done the Lord of Change, Great Unclean One, and is partially finished on the Keeper of Secrets. They all need animations though.

    ok....bummer. Well, i still have a few more Change the necron lord into the codex one (A.K.A Necron Vizier) . Mayb give the Librarian a helmet, same goes to the FC. Mayb give the eldar banshee exarch a skin that makes it look like the one in Dawn of War II, u know the two bladed banshee. If these get turned down i'll keep on posting more ideas untill at least one gets a LoL

    @ProfMan96 - I don't really like the helmetted Librarian or Force Commander, I think it makes them look too boring. For the Banshee what do you mean? Do you mean the Exarch has a two swords or a stick with blades at both ends?

    I think he means the one with Mirror Swords, not the Executioner. FoK has a Banshee Exarch with Mirror Swords already modeled, and according to their usage rules you're free to use it.

    CornCobMan, will you be adding all the various Exarch equipment for the Eldar? As in Tempest Launchers, Shruiken Cannons, and Missile Launchers for DR Exarchs, Dire Swords, Shimmershields, and Power Swords for DA Exarchs, Mirror Swords for Banshee Exarchs, the various weapons for Scorpion Exarchs, the Dragon's Breath Flamer for FD Exarchs, and the Spinneret Rifle for WS Exarchs?

    1) Them being done on the aforementioned models. If the models haven't got them then there's not much I can do.
    2) Me being not lazy enough to go digging around and putting them in.

    Striking Scorpion Exarch upgrades are already in. A few of them happen automatically when you research Mobilize for War and Annihilate the Enemy

    EDIT: Looks like the Warp Spider Exarch with the Spinneret Rifle is a separate model. Screw it I just added it as an alternate leader.

    EDIT2: I'm not sure about Dark Reaper Exarches with the Missile Launchers. Seems a bit, well, too good.

    Well the upgrades are all on the FoK models, and those are all free to use by other modders. I was just asking because it would add some variety to Eldar. If you don't want to that's fine, it was just a suggestion.

    A damn good one suggestion LoL. I totally agree with SpardaSon21. The Eldar are by far the most boring races in DoW. And i just love seeing a banshee exarch with mirror swords. Me being a melee fanatic heh. Oh and mayb u could make seer / warlock available separately. single warlock that can attach to squads?

    The eldar already have a variety of units but more wouldn't hurt =D

    I just tried to recreate the Wyche and Raider crash and it seems like it happens once I research an upgrade but not sure which one. Hope that helps.

    Edit: It seems that the IG command squad has a beep sound when it recovers from low morale.

    It must be the Splinter Cannon ranged weapon upgrade, since ranged weapons are the only ones which activate the Raider weapons. Having said that I haven't tested it with the upgrade researched so I'll have to do that at some point.

    The Eldar are by far the most boring races in DoW
    Not my Eldar they aren't

    Anyway I don't like the idea of making Warlocks separate and attachable.

    One of the reasons i DL your mod dude. Makes my fav race more.....FUN! The beep dont really bother me but its there, even though everyday i keep on wishing its not =P. Theres a crash with the Wych and Raider? I didnt know that, need to play more DE.

    If the next version still has beeps at instances previously mentioned, I may have to extract the affected unit's entire speech files and repack them into the archive, which will be a pain.

    I've been thinking of making Dark Eldar Mandrakes single units, like a mini assassin unit, tougher and do more damage and swapping them with the Warriors. I'm not sure if I should though.

    I don't know too much about TT, but in lexicanum, it has them listed as an elite unit. Maybe they could be an attachable hero similar in role and strength to the missionary in SoB?

    And for the survival mod, I re-installed argonaut's 1.3 version with fuggle's unofficial fix, but when I tried to install the latest version of your survival mod, I keep getting scar errors so I reverted to fuggle's scar files which seems to work fine but it doesn't use any of the new units.. Any thoughts on this?

    I'm not sure if they have the cannibalise animations, but it's an interesting idea to make them more powerful without any extra squad members.

    @boblaffy - can you tell me what the scar errors are? In order to fix them I need to know what's wrong.
