It's still going. I've been distracted for bit but working on some new scar code. And Gerb had a little mini "break".
Sorry if no bugs are being reported, but I must be blind or something.
There's nothing particularly glaring. The Tau Barracks Turret aiming problem, I've mentioned before.
There we were, ready to charge the loyalist scum, and then suddenly we were under fire from our west flank. Batshit mental. We turn to return fire, and somehow they sneaked a bunker in, right next to us! We didn't have any meltas so we got the hell out of there. CREEEEED!
Here's one: Storm guardians have a "ranged melee attack" ... they can melee people from a distance, it's really weird.
Also, the eldritch tempest had no recharge time, and the space marine force commander once fully upgraded has a bombard recharge time of about 5 seconds

Great! I've been playing around with it a little, and have modded in the Tyranids from the tyranids mod, and I've added grey knight terminators in from the Inquisition Daemonhunt Mod. My next task is to get an Eldar Nuke working.
Cool, what changes did you make to the Tyranids to get them to balance?
If I remember right, when I was experimenting with the 'nids and legions, they worked fine and where fairly balanced too. The only problem was a slightly messed up UI due to the Codex Evolution files we are using, but it was just looks, it worked fine.

also when playing as a eldar side when the arturch is built i get a fatal Ai Scar error a part from these porblem i have enjoyed the mod thus far good work![]()
it seems to be when the eldar are used as the AI if that helps

If you've got a previous version of Legions you can move the daemonette.whm from the old version to the new version and your model problem will be fixed.
If you haven't it's no big deal, it will probably be all fixed up in the next version.
Where are the color schemes saved?
I just updated it and I want to retain all the color schemes that I used to have in the old version. (yes I have the old version backed up entirely I just need to know what to copy)

Purple: They are located in the Profiles folder, open the profile number you use. There should be all the mods you ever used. Copy the contents of the gerb_ss_legions to gerb_ss_legions_(whatever this part is), load up the game and all should be good.

Another thing thou, no mater what I select in the options my skirmish games start with no objectives at all and even completely anihilating the AI and capturing all their points on the map does not make me win.

Also, none of the other options like Heroes or Fortres seem to have any effect either.

So far I have plaid Eldar(me) vs Orks, Chaos(me) vs IG and Space Marines(me) vs IG.
Aded another IG(me) vs Tau.
Still no objectives. Anyone have any ideas?

I am playing the full download 0.8 as presented on the 1st thread.
I deleted my old version (0.3) fully and made a clean instal.
Just a question, that link bellow the Version 0.8 Alpha that is titled Patch for 0.8 Alpha.
That is a patch that turns older versions into 0.8 right?

Don't feel bad, your not the first person to miss a patch and have all sorts of errors that the patch fixes.

yes i downloaded it and out the files in the correct folder but it still crashes

Would I get in trouble if I posted the Tyranids extension for this mod? All you have to do is copy a folder ...(and you have to change a file in the W40K folder)

That would be a question for Gerb, adn at the mo I believe you would get in trouble. Also wouldn't all you have to do is change the .module file to include the tyranids mod, and why would you have to change anything in the w40k folder?
Yeah wait out on that for now. I really need to touch bases with the Tyranid team and ask if they would mind me making a few changes to Tyranid mod to bring it in line with Legions balance and making a new race UI background.

played a eldar on eldar game and got the AI Fatal Excepiton problem so i think its some thing to do with the eldar AI
not i have tryed every race as AI allies and Eldar is the only one that it has had that crash hope this helps a bit
I have had a similar problem when playing 1 vs 1. Dark Eldar(me) vs Eldar(AI).
The game just spits out a AI Fatal Exception out of the blue.

You can go to the menu and then click on resume. The game will continue but the error message will still be displayed.

I have yet to find the error, so when it comes up the next time for you people can you hit "Ctrl" + "Shift" + ~, then write down what is in the dark grey box?
Also you could just hit the pause button and the game will resume but the AI will be at a stand still.

After I finish up a little project for Marstone I am looking to add a few more bits, add some polish in the form of bug squishing, and reorganising a few tiny things then going into an 'official' beta. As such.
Meanwhile I am finally going to approach the Tyranid mod team and beg.

The Chaos wargear one is intentional; you have to work hard to please the gods of Chaos. The Lord must earn his wargear with the spilt blood of his enemies.
The AI ones are Marstones mysterious domain.

I have my lord constantly fighting and half dead but still lagging behind.
Perhaps you could make it so that when cultists worship at the shrine it can replace killing?
That would allow the CL to catch up to other commanders at least in the end game.
Thats actually a pretty good idea. But its going to be a LOW LOW bonus... :P
Anything just as long as it gets the gear to actualy work.
