4. I provided a fix for that particular problem. Just download this and extract it to the Soulstorm folder.

8. Campaign Win conditions

I was wondering if it is possible to play the campaign in its default mode win conditions (which is usually annihilate or take & hold I think), rather than randomly generated win conditions each map (Apart from the default specific win conditions for some maps). As sometimes I just like to go through the campaign with the satisfaction of wiping out the enemy. Thanks and great mod.

11. Yeah, I looked and looked, and when that failed, i tested and then when that failed i just let the AI slaughter each other. Sorry but I never found that mysterious AI error you had. This was from a fresh install of the Legions mod with corncobman's patch. The only error I have found, other then UI errors, is that there is Grey Knights in the SM's Army Painter.
So all in all I'm sorry that I couldn't find your problem and that this answer is so late, but that error is now where to be found, nor that power supply fuctioning...
But I can salvage my AI folder and upload it, if you would like.

12. I registered only to say that this mod is the best DoW mod I have every played!!!!!

You my friend have done a great job indeed!

And there aren't almost any redundant units at all, the only one are the Eldar Guardians because Storm Guardians are superior I never use the Eldar ones.

I have just a few suggestions about the mod and they are purely aesthetic ones :

1. You could switch the ard boys with those from the Tabletop roundabout mod because those ones have unique squad leader model and are uniquely voiced.

2. Maybe switch the slugga boys from the HQ with those goblin (sorry forgot how they are called those big nose workers) pirate unit from the Tabletop roundabout mod.

3. And maybe add the Ork mobile fortress also from Tabletop roundabout mod.

That was just my 2 cents. All the other factions couldn't be more perfect in my honest opinion.

And thank you again for this genius AWESOME mod!!!

P.S. Just remembered maybe the Great Unclean one from the Apocalypse mod could be added.

I have actually just re-installed Windows XP from scratch and had a clean install of DOW:SS to play with.

So I took the Legions 0.92 folder from the downloaded RAR file, pasted in Corncobman's fix and then pasted the Legions folder and module into the DOW:SS folder.

Set up a 1v1 game, Space Marines vs Eldar, Valley of Khorne, Win conditions: AIHighspeed, Annihilate and Noflyzone.

And....

Other than you having a different installation copy, i'm not entirely sure how it doesn't crash for you when playing....

And by the looks of your map, the game was along aways before it crashed.

16. Since that is a core file, it would plague everyone else. So I don't think that is the problem.

My CD has SP3 in the build so it's not too bad from scratch, but there's still quite a lot since then. Next time I do this will hopefully be with a dual boot XP/Win7 system

Bad News: Dunno what caused it.
Hypothesis: Something in the teching tree is causing it.
Reason for Hypothesis: I didn't see any advance troops.

35. if there is just a webway gate out there with no generators (maybe even to plus 1) the Eldar resources quickly diminish to nothing and they are unable to get anymore unless the webway gate is destroyed.

41. I've found out, after some painstaking elimination, why your mod ctd's the tau stronghold campaign mission after the opening cinematic & such a simple little thing.
It's because you've removed shield drones from the leader ext of the fire warrior squad blueprint.
The tau stronghold scar must place fire warrior squads with shield drones on the map from the start & since your mod doesn't have them it ctd's.

For people who play the campaign the file below adds the shield drones back to fire warriors so the stronghold mission doesn't crash.
Place the file in the SS: Legions mod folder in "Data\attrib\sbps\races\tau".

44. Great mod if your playing skirmish, but not so great if you don't play skirmish & need to get your teeth into a campaign.
I don't mean any disrespect to Gerberman but i've found another instance of bad, lazy modding practice.

He's given the chaos sorcerers a warp storm ability. This is all well & good but a warp storm ability is already in the vanilla game for the chaos stronghold mission & it isn't on a unit.
It's over the chaos base for protection & because Gerb edited the original warp storm files it actually destroys the chaos base instead, ending the stronghold mission very quickly.

It takes very little time to make copies of the original files & rename them, then use these copies instead keeping the original campaign intact.

48. :nostalgic: Ahhh, I remember those times I used to play 0.3 like a maniac and exploited the imbaness of IG back then. This one was by far my favorite mod during that time, mostly because of the giant lasgu-- Swordshadow.
