    The link is not broken. It depends on hours, sometimes the servers of Gamefront are too busy. Try download them later. Believe me, you don't want to face that tank unless you choose the airborne company or have the RAF ready.

    and for bug tell what they are so i can correct it.
    I have tried to optimise the maps the max i can for all computer but i know some of the maps need big mem to run (but few only like la route) i have tried to make maps for big battle like a war and long dam battle based on resistance and perseverance, and dam land to find the way to pass.
    But some other maps are for short battle or medium fight annilation or vic one
    Then tell wich map u like best so team will know wich map to add (maybe) in patch for the nhc mod


    and i will be very happy to play on those maps with any people to kill dam comp in a dam hard war!!

    I could take a look at them in world builder and show you, I'll give a few hints to what throws off some the maps aswell with tactics & strategy, give me a few days..

    I dont want u to remake the strategy on it they are like this i just want to correct bug, after this u like the land shape or u dislike it it's ur thinking.
    I assume all the land shape and river and passage who are on it like inf can pass on river in some maps or things making hard or confusing the passage too the enemi base i assume this cause for me land make difficulty too, same as ur enemy.

    Hey Gang, quick question, I have been using this mod for a little bit now, and a buddy just recently joined the CoH community. So he installed this mod as well, upon my recommendations. But we cant play together, not compatible... so I started investigating. After many attempts with no luck I finally in desperation WinRarred my mod directory and copied it to his. This although fail safe, takes a while. To my horror it also failed...
    This too me was impossible, yet it did. So my question is do any of you use this mod for multiplayer? If so I will continue my efforts, but maybe this mod is not multiplayer compatible and that is my fear!

    p.s. We just completely wiped out this mod from our computers, and started 2.6 installer again, from one source, mine which was downloaded when released. Tried new skirmish game, Non Compatible version.... how is this possible??

    XAMOT, are you guys using 2.6 or 2.601? (*doesn't matter...if your both using the same version it should work just wanted to make sure your both using the latest version).

    I play all the time with my friends (as allies, against the computer). The only problem I ever had was when I didnt have my ports open in the router.

    Maybe the download is corrupt?

    I too can't play in mod with friends in any way. It has begun with that moment as there was a possibility to combine mod with Eastern front (version 2.4a it seems). I thought at me one such problem. Reinstallation mod and game hasn't helped. The antivirus has been removed.

    I own COH and Opposing Fronts (bought on Steam). I downloaded and installed the mod, but when I start the game, it opens the game in COH (not Opposing Fronts). How do I get it to start in Opposing Fronts? Also, How do I access the "Reward menu" to choose which game options I want? Thanks.

    Edit - it appears the mod isn't working at all. I start it using the shortcut, but when I play the game, there are no differences (no new units, no persistent bodies, etc.). Help

    FALSE. You can play any mods on steam, but the procedure for installation is different. You have to install the mod where steam has put your Company of Heroes.
    Your company of heroes should be somewhere in
    C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\company of heroes
    or
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\company of heroes

    Then, if the .bat does not work for unknown reason try to create your own shortcut:
    - Create a shortcut of relicCOH.exe
    - Right-click on the shortcut and go to "Properies"
    - In the Shortcut tab change the Target line by adding the following command after the brackets:
    "- mod NHCTOV -dev" (without bracket)

    It is already abnormal that both game are not in the same folder since Opposing Front is an expansion of Company of Heroes. The reward menu only appears after the patch 2.500 at the same place where are your medals.

    This means that your version of Company of heroes/Opposing Front/Tales of Valor is too old and must be patched to 2.601

    Thanks for the quick reply. I know for a fact my Opposing Fronts is patched to 2.601. If I re-download the beta version of your mod (without the installer) can you walk me through how to put it into Opposing Fronts in Steam? I've done this for a Dawn of War 2 mod, but I'm not sure if it is the same process. Thanks.

    Not the first time ever I played but first time in a couple of months(last was 1.4c or something...). And yes, I have a problem.

    The game runs fine for about 3 minutes every time. All other mods, WWRealism and all my other games work fine. And as I said: IT WORKS! but only for about 3 minutes. Then the game freezes. I can not see anything in the warnings.log or any of the other logs that is causing the problem. My memory usage might be the problem. But that doesn't even happen with N44!

    Should I still attach the logs and dxdiag? If it can help?

    @ProximMaximus: First, you must locate where is the folder of your Opposing front then install the mod there and follow the instruction of the readme. I would not recommend the beta but the stable version 2.6
    @kattwuver229: No problem, at least you have the courage to recognize your error.
    @sgt.davis: This means the AI does not like a squad. It may happens only on some maps. I need to know which squad it does not like so that I can prevent the bug. Only the warning log is useful.

    It happened on Mc Ghacaens War(or whatever the spelling is) and the custom map Vueles les Roses. I quickly tried running it through a shortcut and not the .bat and Hill 331 works fine. Just had a 28 minute game. Could it simply be the Easy AI? I wanted to just play around and get to learn the mod, so I used Easy AI(only one enemy, no friendlies). The Hill 331 was Normal AI(for this reason). The AI was all Wehrmacht.

    warnings attached (pretty sure its the correct one). I'll quickly run a test on those two maps again too.

    ah yes, I did not test the easy AI because it does strange things like securing +3 points positions. I would not recommend to play with or against easy AI, since they have not been tested. Unfortunately, the log does not tell anything interesting.

    Opposing Front is in my Steam folder like you referenced before. I have already downloaded the version 2.6, but it automatically installed it in vanilla COH. Can I just cut and paste the mod folder into Opposing Fronts Folder?

    What? The installer does not install itself automatically, you have to choose the destination folder. Of course, if you always click 'yes' without reading, it is automatic.

    So if I re-install using the installer and select opposing fronts as the destination folder, I should be good? Does it just go in the generic Opposing Fronts folder, or a particular sub-folder?

    Yes, it should go into the same folder as the file RelicCoH.exe

    P.S.: Why does so many people click 'yes' without reading? It is very dangerous, you can practically sell your soul if you are not aware of what it is written in the license.

    Got the mod to work yesterday. Great job! On the persistent bodies, it seems only about 1 out of 5 corpses remain (and for some reason they usually remain if you didn't actually see them die). From the searching I've done on the forums, its seems that this is pretty typical for persistent bodies mods. Is that your experience? Thanks again for the mod.

    That is correct. The reason for this is that soldiers killed while you see them turn into physics ragdolls. So they cannot stay behind. If you set your physics setting to its lowest, you will see that all of them will remain. And remember: soldier entities who go into a wounded state are not counted as dead and do not turn into a "killed" model. They simply disappear. These two effects combined cause a very low number of bodies that ACTUALLY remain.

    I have found new bugs

    1) If to study an explosive for pioneers at groups with two soldiers of ability won't be, and with four soldiers will be





    2) Swimmvagen PE After improvement to MG42 an arrow it is not visible



    3) new model pershing is not correcty, It is not visible an arrow in a tower
    (PLS Return old model usual pershing)



    4) Animation of a shot of tiger-ace PE isn't correct.
    It is represented from two parties (in front and in a direction of shooting of a gun)

    Thanks for mentioning the 2 first bugs. That 3rd is from Eastern Front, my model of the Pershing works fine. The 4th bug is from the original game and cannot be fixed unless we get an 3D animator.

    I'm enjoying the mod (especially the persistent bodies). Does the mod change the AI at all? It seems in most skirmish games I play (on normal difficulty), the AI just sits back and waits for you to attack them. Can your mod be combined with an AI mod? Thanks.

    The mod does not change the AI at all. I would recommend to stop playing with normal AI and go to hard and expert difficulty. With the beta the AI will send tank aces against you and it will not be easy to take them down.
    No AI mod compatibily.

    I was thinking of making a contest for the best trailer video for my mod. The prize would be "one wish". I mean I can make one special version of NHCmod with one of your wish. It could be changing the sound of some units, put your names on heroes, or add a flying King Tiger, modern GIs, or zombies..., whatever I am able to do as long as the required amount of works is not more that then equivalent amount needed to add a new unit. If there are enough people willing to participate I can start the contest otherwise I does not matter.

    i've a request in favor of the british tanks... they're so useless it's painful. i don't think the comet could destroy anything, even by accident. meanwhile the firefly ace is SO powerful it can win the game by himself. maybe a little balancing in favor of the regular fireflies? or veterancy gain? or HE rounds?

    I tried the beta tonight...Everything worked fine, with wermatch , against a computer or more...Then i tried to do the two last missions of the campaign with panzer elite (i removed all nch and others mods, but was able to do every campaign missions i wanted)...Last mission, i was not able to have furtivity , the healer and the mp 44...But the previous mission was worst...I was not able to build the panther...The game asked me to do all previous improvement who was allready build, so i destroyed the buildings and build them again, but nothing happened.

    Thank you for this great mod, that i follow since the start and love (i tried tons of mods , it's the only one without any big bugs and fun, we play it often with my friends and will do it again sadly , i love eastern front and love the idea to combine it with Nch but the soviets are really to weak, we tried and no one never winned with them...)...If you could add how to make video, a link or anything who can show it, i will make videos with pleasure. A sturmtiger will be great, i remember a mod who used one, battle of bulge if i remember well...All sturmpanzer as the Brumbar was great part of wermatch firepower, it's a bit sad to not have them

    @LUi11 : If you want to play a campaign with my mod, you have to restart the campaign from the beginning. The new savegames will be compatible afterwards.
    @Grand Moff Tarkin: There would be no problem with the Strum Tiger since it has already been done.

    To send screenshot here you have to host them somewhere imageshack.us or moddb or whatever server and then you can post a link on the forum. You can also send the screenshot on my e-mail which is given in the README.
