I find it sad that you guys are all fighting. I thought this was be very promising, even something I might want to play, and replay, and replay, and so on, which I have never done with a mod before. Now, I don't think it's going to happen. Personally, I think that Moleman had no right to change the entire story without asking Whisper, but I'm guessing I'm not seeing the whole story, either.

You know Mole, I don't think he can just boot you off the mod like this, you see, because he was gone, and you filled in, providing material, you were essentially the mod leader, and therefore the mod is partially yours. So really, I don't think he can really just kick you, or even from this thread.
because it's like a company, the manager cannot fire employees for doing their job, like in spider man, adversely even was when Norman Osborn was actually the boss of Oscorp, and he was kicked out of his own company because he was bieng irrational, almost as much as whisper is now.
and whisper, you were gone for the better part of the month for work, and now you say you will do the entire Taiidan faction? that is not a reasonable thing to do.
wait what are you saying here? are you saying i should kick him? it would sound rather logical because after the release i put out for the mod it has a huge boom of viewers and down loaders, his ships wernt even implemented yet into the mod, so technically speaking i would have majority hold of it if im not correct i figure it by the amount of ships in produced for the mod, compared to around 7-9 half done ships, to 17-20 complete done ships

*points and laughs* i released a multiplayer realease of what we had at the time since the beast race was supposed to be added to the SOT at the time i released a multilayer only release for the sot with that race in it it was released for both the BEM and SOT mod for that reason. I chose that official release decision because people were losing interst in the SOT so in other words i was saving your carcass, i have more than half of the majority data on the SOT mod that i own, this excludes all of your models and mod data that was released in your mod package
how about this, release everything you have of SoT that belongs to you. Each model for Sot that people took interest in was created or designed by me. All you did was take existing Homeworld ships, and strech and skew them. You butchered them into something else. People even complained about that on MODDB. If you want to call yourself a 3d designer, then go for it . In my eyes your just a pathetic excuse. The only reason i ever worked with you was to gain some Hoding experience.

Intereset for Sot started to dispate because I was working on Complex. SoT mod was never about getting people interested in it, or trying to release it as fast as I could. I worked at my own speed. And that speed varried. In a few weeks I managed to do more then you have done in a year. Shit, so blame me if I took some time away from HW2, I had better stuff to do then consult you on how to make a decent 3d model.

Let me just put it this way: You've both contributed material, right? You both have IP rights to it, therefore, neither one of you can "boot" the other one from the team. The only way for someone to get out of the team would be if they quit, and if someone did quit, and they decided that their material shouldn't be used in the mod, the remaining team members have to take it out. Otherwise, they're violating IP laws. Sooo, if you try to boot someone, not only would they probably just keep on modding the same mod, they would also sue you for using their material.
Stop lobbing insults back and forth. The way I see it, "streching" and "skewing" a model is called "a basic kitbash skill". Kitbashing is one of the best talents a modder has, since it extends to making new things. Almost all of my models are kitbashed, or "streched" and "skewed" as you put it. While I also believe that the Serious mod wasn't the best of mods, it was also not intended to actually be "serious". Insulting Moleman's mod was a low blow, because it was an honest attempt, and I believe that, had it gone on a little longer, it would have turned into something better.
I find it a little sad that I have to try to diffuse this argument, because it shouldn't be happening in the first place. We should all get along, because most of the HW2 modding community has left for various reasons, not the least of which is people getting into fights. I think that both of you are good modders, and the community needs you. I think it would be sad to see anyone in the community banned for something like an argument.

I kinda agree with joe 2987 this is immature to fight about a mod... and over the internet and i will not go to your levels. (no offense moleman, but he wasnt fighting that much)

@ joe 2987: i do respect you man i really do, youve been a big help to me, because you asked i will stop bickering about this, it is pointless, but like you said about the IP laws, i will abide by them, so i would like ot say now, i now way have i released any of the data partaining to whisper2me's models or data in any form without his concent, that said i revoke all privialges of the community using my models or mods wihtout my consent or the mod is displayed publicly IE on moddb or a download link is posted on the relic news forum, also thanks once again joe 2987 i do apoligize to you on my part for this bit of posting that has occdured over the past hour, i hear by resign from this mod and take all assets that are of my ownership with me.

I didnt act immature. I made a post on how Moleman and I wont be working any longer. And he over reacted. He deleted the moddb SoT page, removed all the videos and some of the images. If you feel im over reacting then I should have done the same to his Beast mod.
Im not going to remove his work since its his, and he said he wont violate the IP laws but he just has. I think the kid needs to follow through with what he says.
Guess he cant make a better mod, so he is going to bring mine down by removing the moddb page.
Well you kept saying he will get banned... but enough of that as the bentusi said in HW... "This war is over"
Tis tragic but both groups have now gone there own way and now there is two mods being form the original Sands of Time and the Memories of Hiigara, but this is now the Sands of time thread only so lets focus on whispers mod from here on out.

Sorry but it isn't done yet, I still have to do the drafts, studys ( or Ideations ), look at most of my HW pic for ideas and then complete it and on the whole I have some Graphics homework due in on Friday and I have to go In to Melbourne on Monday to pay a family vistit to one of my fathers friends. Ohhh and Whisper2me, just because I'm in my early teens doen't mean that I do not have much talent, rem-em-ber, proceedure of doing a design.
